Today's UPDATES

Last night in NBA Action, it was the Battle of the Ages between the top two teams in the Western Conference. This is going to an unusual Max Sports rundown that I have ever given, for the Golden State Warriors had been struggling earlier on in the season, even losing to the Lakers on Christmas Night, but now it seems that they have gotten their rhythm back when facing the Denver Nuggets last night. The Nuggets have really surprise a lot of NBA fans, including me because nobody would have imagine even being #1 in the West, but they have found a way to do it. The first quarter between these two teams was unlike anything any NAB viewer had seen before, the Warriors were the visiting team in Denver and they blew everyone away by scoring 51 points in the first quarter, which is a NBA-record if you will, while the Nuggets only had 38 points. From that point, the Warriors were they old selves again and they lead the entire game, having the most points in every single quarter until they won 142-111. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson each scored 31 points for the Dubs, Kevon Looney lead the rebounding game with 12, and good 'ol Draymond Green had the most assists with a total of 13. On the Denver side of things, Malik Beasley scored the most points for his team with 22, Will Barton made 8 rebounds, and breakout sensation Nikola Jokic had 8 assists for the Nuggets. People will be dying to see what these two teams will do next, the Warriors head home to Golden State tonight to take on the Pelicans on ESPN, and the Nuggets play host to the Bulls tomorrow night, but as we are talking about NBA Action, here are other results from last night and upcoming games for the next two days.

Yesterday morning, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios presented the first teaser trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home, a moment so big that it's going to be the subject of both today's #TwitterTrend and Web Choice playlist. When I first saw the trailer, I knew that we were going to see Peter Parker tackle on the world as his high school and himself would fly to Europe for a school trip, but the trip become a dangerous mission when S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury meets Peter for the first time in the MCU and recruits him to team up with Mysterio, who is a good guy in the movie wouldn't you know, to battle the Elementals. For those of you who don't know, The Elementals, according to Marvel Comics, "are four extra-dimensional humanoids who became immortals with power over natural forces and who ruled a kingdom on Earth before the rise of the original Atlantis." They first appeared in the comic Supernatural Thrillers #8 (August 1974), and were created by Tony Isabella and Val Mayerik, one of their most famous members is Hydro Man who has been a thorn in the side of Spider-Man since debuting in a solo role in The Amazing Spider-Man #212 (January 1981). He has also been apart of many other villainous teams such as the Masters of Evil, the Sinister Six, and the Sinister Syndicate, and we can now see him in Spider-Man: Far From Home in a variation of the Elementals. The trailer has confused a lot of fans because they are not sure how Peter is still alive, he, along with half of humanity and the Universe, was turned to dust when Thanos snapped his fingers at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. So fans have a lot of questions about whether this trailer is a spoiler for Avengers: Endgame, one other thing to put out is that absence of Iron Man played by Robert Doweny, Jr. Easter eggs in the trailer like Happy Hogan saying, "You're all alone," and Peter looking at the suit Tony Stark gave him with tear-filled eyes are leading to some theories and counter-theories about the fate of Tony Stark in Endgame.  A collection of easter eggs, details and other neat tidbits came be seen in this first look at the new Spidey movie, see if you can other viewers in the following reaction videos can spot them.

The fact that Marvel Studios can turn one of Spider-Man's weirdest villains (Mysterio) into a complete bad-ass is beyond amazing, I mean look at this guy he has a frkn fish bowl on his head 😂

I’m sick of hearing this. TONY STARK IS NOT DEAD IN FAR FROM HOME. If he did die wouldn’t the movie be a bit darker? It’s before infinity war and endgame because how wouldn’t they acknowledge the fact that half of the population got erased.

I'm gonna just ignore the fact that:

- Pepper Potts signed the check from the Stark Relief Foundation
- Peter looked at the suit Tony gave him with sadness in his eyes
- Happy said "You're all alone"
-Tony Stark is DEAD 😭

Looks like Peter Parker is still using Uncle Ben's old luggage. A nice sentimental nod that acknowledges Spider-Man's past without retreading the tragic origin story

The boat behind Ned in the Spider-Man trailer reads "ASM 212" -- aka Amazing Spider-Man #212, the first appearance of Hydro Man
Tristan Cooper @TristanACooper
The kids in the Spider-Man trailer are staying at "Hotel De Matteis," likely named after J.M. DeMatteis, who wrote classic Spidey stories like Kraven's Last Hunt

The giant check Happy holds in the new Spider-Man trailer is signed by Pepper Potts, who uh I guess survives Avengers: Endgame

It's only onscreen for a second but a kid in the crowd is wearing a Spider-Man mask made out of a paper plate and I appreciate their commitment and resourcefulness

In the new Spider-Man trailer, the former Avengers Tower appears to be under construction. It was sold off by Tony Stark in Homecoming, and fans are speculating it may turn into the Fantastic Four's Baxter Building
