#JustSoYouKnow FRiDAY

Last Wednesday night, more NBA Action was on display and there's one particular game that I want to talk about in our Max Sports rundown. I was the Brooklyn Nets visiting the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center, the former has made a terrific turnover this season winning more than they had in the first two months, and last Wednesday the Nets had the chance to improve their record some more by reaching the .500 mark, although beating the Rockets and their star player James Harden was as easy as it looked. These two teams took each other to the limit, Harden scored a season-high 58 points against the Nets, just two days after he had his second straight season high after scoring 57 in a victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night. As good as Harden and the Rockets were on Wednesday, they squandered an eight-point lead with about a minute left in the fourth quarter, it was all thanks to Spencer Dinwiddie who made three 3-pointers in the final 30 seconds of regulation. I for one fought the game was well over and the Nets had lost, but boy did Brooklyn ever prove and the rest of their fanbase wrong, the went into overtime with the scored tied at 131-131, and the Rockets would have a seven-point advantage. However, that did not last long because Spencer Dinwiddie was on the loose again and he would hit the go-ahead basket with 28 seconds left, as a matter of fact, he scored 25 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter and overtime, and the Nets spoiled Harden's night with a 145-142 victory over the Rockets. So, now the Nets are in the Top Eight seeds in the Eastern Conference, but the season is far from over and now is not the time or the place for them to even think about the making the playoffs for the first time in four years. I am very proud of the how Brooklyn is playing these past couple of weeks and like most fans, I look forward to what they can do for the rest of season in which a lot teams in the NBA are making a big impact in the standings.

Here comes a #JustSoYouKnow moment of the week, this Sunday are the NFL Conference Championship Games, both will determine who will make to Super Bowl LIII at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. First at 3:05PM, it's the Los Angeles Rams vs the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome, then at 6:40PM, we'll see the New England Patriots vs the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. We have seen all of these team play excellent offense all season long, and the scenarios for who will compete in the Super Bowl could not be any sweeter, we could see a Battle of the Young between the Chiefs and Rams who previously met each in Week 11 and took each to the limit in a game where both team scored over 50 points. We could see a Battle of the Old in Brady vs Brees, the Patriots and Saints are most experienced teams in these playoffs which is why they able to win in the Divisional Round last Sunday, but how about this next matchup? People are saying Patrick Mahomes is on his way picking up the torch if the beat Brady this Sunday, and if the Saints win and it's Chiefs vs Saints in SB LIII, Mahomes would have the chance to beat future Hall of Fame quarterbacks to win the Championship. The last interesting scenario is Patriots vs Rams, for the last time the Rams were in the Super Bowl, the year was 2002, they were still in St. Louis and they took on a  young Brady who would later become the Man is today and would lead the Patriots on a championship dynasty. How sweet it would be for the Rams now in Los Angeles to finally avenge that loss if they can get pass the Saints and tackle the Patriots for the Rams' first championships in years. To see a batter preview of the Conference Championships, here's are a couple of videos from sports outlets who have weighed in their thoughts on what might happen this Sunday.
