Today's UPDATES

We haven't talked about NBA Basketball for a while, but I think that today seem like a great day for it, and with this being the "second-to-last" #KlicKNet post of 2018, why the heck? In this Max Sports rundown, we're going to be talking about LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers paying the Brooklyn Nets a visit at Barclays Center, this game was important to both teams because the Lakers haven't been doing so well in their road games, and the Nets came into this game on five-game winning streak after losing eight straight. On his first shot attempt, LeBron was denied by Jarrett Allen who stopped a would-have-been-SportsCenter-Highlight dunk with a sensational block, and this was just the start of the first quarter when it happened. Throughout the game, Lakers would try to rally and send themselves back home on a winning note, but the Nets would not allow it, prior to all of this, the Lakers lost to the Washington Wizards last Sunday where James was limited to 13 points on 5-of-16 shooting, and last night he made 36 Points for the Lakers, along 8 Assists and 13 Rebounds. Elsewhere, the Nets were on fire last night, putting their best defense and offense on display for the Brooklyn crowd, D'Angelo Russell had 22 points and a career high-tying 13 assists against his former team, Joe Harris added 19 points, Spencer Dinwiddie scored 18, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson finished with 17 points and 8 rebounds, Jared Dudley made some big baskets down the stretch to score 13 for the Nets. So the top players on each team made a Double-Double for the night, but in the end the Nets would win their six straight game with a 115-110 victory, while the Lakers finished 1/3 on their road trip, and Kyle Kuzma had 22 points and 11 rebounds; Lonzo Ball scored 23. This Friday Night on ESPN, the Lakers come home to Staples Center in LA to take on Anthony Davis and New Orleans Pelicans, but the their has been talk that Davis could be joining them sometime in the future, as LeBron and co. have try desperately to recruit some All-Star players on their side so they can become a Championship contenders once again. We'll see next year if both the Lakers and Nets can finish strong this season which has once again become very muddled with how you look at standings in both the West and the East.

As most people are aware, Disney is planning to launch its own streaming service which is supposed to compete with Netflix, entitled as "Disney+." In the past couple of months, Netflix has canceled it collection of Marvel series, first it was Iron Fist, then Luke Cage, and now Daredevil, The Punisher will debut his second season next month, and Jessica Jones' third season is likely to later next year. However, let's all not be to surprising if those last two series are canceled, but from what I'm understanding, it will have nothing to with Disney, who owns Marvel and much more of it once the FOX deal is done, trying to create its own service with original content from other Disney properties. In this #TwitterTrend, we learned about a interview from The Hollywood Reporter on Disney's chairman of direct-to-consumer and international offers, his name is Kevin Mayer and he opened up to The Reporter about the potential future of Marvel's Daredevil, Iron Fist and Luke Cage shows. According to Natalie Jarvey, writer of The Hollywood Reporter, Kevin Mayer spoke about the soon-to-be-finalized Fox Deal, and the possibility that Disney+ could revive the canceled Marvel Netflix shows, although did not seem like the case from before, considering that they adult-oriented and Disney+ is meant to lean on the family audience that the Walt Disney Company has capitalized on for over nine decades. For a better perspective on this story, check the following down below about what fans of Disney and Marvel alike about this new story, who feel that there might be hope for "The Defenders" yet.

Disney+ Head Says Cancelled Netflix Marvel Shows Are A 'Possibility'

I chatted with Disney's Kevin Mayer about the Fox deal and the Disney+ streaming service. Some takeaways: Those Marvel shows that Netflix canceled? There's a "possibility" that Disney+ could revive them. Taking Hulu international? "We're talking to Hulu about that now."

Terrified, but interested.

There's a possibility they could go to Disney+. I know people think they wouldn't put mature content on the service, but I disagree. I think #TheMandalorian will be a bit more adult-skewing than people think. But also think Disney+ will be the domain of the Marvel Studios series.

Matt Tucker @playhouse76
Which is why it makes more sense to add the Netflix series to the other Marvel TV series available through Hulu.

Andrew. @ProudMasshoIe
Marvel’s best course of action would be to buy out of the Netflix contract and get the character shows on Hulu instead of waiting 2 years to get it rolling.

In keeping with the theme of talking Marvel, it seems like the best time to talk once again about the upcoming Marvel Lands coming to Disney Parks in California, Paris and Hong Kong. Last week, Disney Park Blog wrote about what is the Backstory of why these famous Marvel character coming to Disney Parks around the world, the Marvel-themed areas will be based on three different continents and defined as the "Super Hero campus" of their specific region, that will form guests to become superheroes themselves. So the rumors about that from Walt Disney World News Today were true they about about what's ahead for Marvel Land in Disney California Adventure, speaking of which, construction for the "Super Hero campus" over has been coming along great, as A Bug's Land has almost been finished being cleared out, but we are still unaware as what kind of ride systems they are going to have for the Spider-Man and Avengers attractions. So today, Web Choice has a collection of pics and vids which shows the progress on Marvel Land's construction at DCA and Orange Grove 55 gibing his thoughts on the ride vehicle for Spider-Man.
All those tree and props from Bug's Land nearly disappeared.
