Today's UPDATES

Last night was another NFL Showdown to determine a lot in the Playoff Picture. The New Orleans Saints had a big time chance to take the #1 Seed in the NFC Conference after the Los Angeles Rams failed to do so in another Sunday Night loss, this time against the Super Bowl Champs Philadelphia Eagles. The Saints were up against a Carolina Panthers team that was on life support when it comes to jockeying for position for the playoffs, they had every chance to beat New Orleans and do LA a big favor, instead they wasted away from perfect opportunities, Despite holding the Saints to 12 points at the end of the game, Panthers only rounded up 9 points of their own, and now the Saints are in firm control of getting home field advantage, and their last two games of the regular season are at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers and then the Panthers, so maybe the latter of which can make up for what they've done last night. The Rams on the other hand have it easier for them with their last two games against the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers respectively, of course if you look at the NFL playoff picture, you wonder if it can stay like that until the very last game of the regular season. This concludes a very short edition of Max Sports rundown, well see this upcoming weekend if some teams in playoff contention can keep their status intact and if some teams can keep their playoff hopes alive, but until then, here are a ton of other sports results from last night.

Our #TwitterTrend for today is about making up for mistakes made in the past, this phrase fits perfectly well for the WWE as what seemed one of the company's best years in history, 2018 has not ended on a high note as most WWE Executives would expect. So last night on Monday Night Raw, Mr. McMahon and the rest of the McMahon Family, Stephanie, Shane and Triple H, started the show with a promise to the entire WWE Universe that things will be different, especially with the product that WWE has currently put on for its viewers. They all acknowledged their shortcomings and announce that they are "taking back Monday Night Raw" as WWE is in need of a "fresh start." This new plan of theirs has seemed to go on a high note with the arrivals of new faces coming to the WWE main roster early next year, all of these new faces are from NXT and oh boy do they sure know how to make an impact, I'm talking about Lars Sullivan, EC3, Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, and Heavy Machinery's Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic. Now while many fans appreciate the heart-to-heart decision that the McMahon are making, some aren't quite sure what it means for both Raw and SmackDown, so a few of voice their opinion on Twitter and the comments are somewhat modest to say the least.

"In the coming weeks and months, you'll be seeing new faces, new superstars, new matchups!" - @TripleH

From now, the @WWEUniverse is the AUTHORITY. #RAW

To summarize that #Raw opening, there wasn't a specific announcement about a change on Raw or anything new other than Vince, Stephanie, Hunter and Shane taking a more hands on approach of Raw. Not much else was really said or explained.

Glenn Rubenstein @GlennRubenstein
Hey @VinceMcMahon @StephMcMahon @TripleH @shanemcmahon - if change means the fans are gonna get what they want, can we please have TALKING SMACK back?

(Preferably with @ReneeYoungWWE and @RealPaigeWWE hosting).

Thanks!

Sincerely,

The New Authority

If the McMahons start calling themselves Taking Back Monday, I'll be ok with them doing whatever they want. #RAW

"Were going to give you new superstars, new matchups ... now here's Baron Corbin vs. Kurt Angle!" #RAW

Trevor Robb @TrevorRobb_
Remember when we said we were giving you all something new? Well here's the same thing from last night. #RAW

Robbie Fox @RobbieBarstool
Stunning promo to open #RAW, where the entire McMahon family admitted that the WWE product has been garbage for some time now and that it's because they haven't listened to their audience at all. Brutally honest.

They promise that ends now. I'll believe it when I see it.

B.J. Mendelson @BJMendelson
(don't get me wrong, I'm always excited for changes on #RAW, but man, we've all been burned so many times. What's that song from The Who? "Won't get fooled again" #RAW

Deck the Fowls @TheMattFowler
I truly believes Vince feels he’s letting fans down. But I also don’t think he quite knows how to fix it other than just having bad guys lose a lot. Also, any changes that happen, for better worse, will be for nothing once they announce the next Saudi PPV. #raw

Deck the Fowls @TheMattFowler
I’m just really wary of the “YOU are the Authority” rhetoric because now there’ll be this constant artifice of giving us “what we want,” as part of the storyline, instead of just giving us better stories to enjoy without mugging to the camera about it. We’ll see. #raw

Christmas is just one week away and this Friday is the last #KlicKNet post of 2018, it has been one very eventful year for me and everyone else, but he are all looking forward to what 2019 has to bring to the table. Also coming this Friday is the latest Warner Bros./DC Film known as "Aquaman," it looks just as great as Wonder Woman did last year and with it being Christmas season, I would very much like to see it on such a special occasion. According to plot of the movie, Arthur Curry, heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, must step forward to lead his people against his half-brother, Orm, who seeks to unite the seven underwater kingdoms against the surface world. Jason Momoa steps in to play Aquaman again having already doing in Batman v Superman and Justice League, but this time we will see him star in a solo adventure that needs a lot of water to make it even more amazing. This upcoming Web Choice playlist highlights a few scenes from Aquaman which give viewers a reason as to why they should see it when it hit theaters this Friday.
