Today's UPDATES

Well, well, well, what did we learn yesterday? We learned that if you work hard enough and depend on others for help, you can achieve anything. Despite the LA Chargers, we learned the next team NFL team to clinch a playoff berth as well as their own division, all this and more in today's Max Sports rundown. The Chicago Bears took it to Aaron Rodgers and the failing Green Bay Packers right on their home turf at Solider Field, and with a 24-17 victory under their belt, the Bears were able to win the NFC North Division, plus, Eddie Jackson of the Bears ended Aaron Rodgers' NFL-record streak without an interception. As if the Packers needed any more tragedy in their season, they should be glad that they did not get shut out like two other teams yesterday, the first was the Dallas Cowboys who lost their chance at winning the NFC East Division after the Indianapolis defeated them 23-0, and then the New York Giants were shut out by the Tennessee Titans 17-0, had both the Colts and Titans lost, then the Houston Texans who beat the New York Jets on Saturday would have become Champions of the AFC South. The Baltimore Ravens beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to in order to hold on to their status as the #6 Seed in the AFC, but that last Wild Card spot is always so important for teams who know that we are getting closer to the playoffs, and right now it's a three way tie between the Ravens, Colts and Titans, and this could all come down in Week 17 between Colts and Titans 'cause what a game that would be. The Minnesota Vikings increased their lead for the #6 Seed in the NFC after blowing out the Miami Dolphins 41-17 and got some major hep in the San Francisco 49ers who beat the Seattle Seahawks in Overtime 26-23, that gives the Vikings a little help of obtaining the #5 Seed in the NFC for themselves. The two biggest games yesterday determine a lot when it comes to the playoffs, first it was classic rivalry between the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers who were suffering big time losses last week, but luckily one of them would get back into the win column after this game was over, but who knew it would be the team that weren't expecting to win. Ben Roethlisberger score two touchdown while Tom Brady only had one, and the Steelers' defense did a superb at keeping the Patriots' offense, and after stopping late rally in the fourth quarter, the Steelers shock the Pats 17-10, and this means most of all that the Pats are in the #3 Seed in the AFC, and putting the Texans at #2. Finally, it was back-to-back Sunday Nigh Nightmares for the Los Angeles Rams who hosted the defending Super Bowl Champions Philadelphia Eagles who had their Super Bowl MVP QB Nick Foles on the field to take the place of an injured Carson Wentz, despite all of that, the Eagles were still able to stun the crowd in the LA Coliseum with a couple of great defensive plays and with Foles at the helm of the offense, the Eagles would win 30-23. Week 15 is done yet, tonight is a Monday Night Division Rivalry game between the New Orleans Saints who have a better chance at claiming the #1 Seed in the NFC, and the Carolina Panthers who are fighting for their lives to get back into the playoffs, and with not much time, can the Panthers pull of a stunner on the Saints tonight?

From the NFL to the WWE and its very last pay-per-view of 2018, TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs. During the kickoff show, we saw Buddy Murphy retain the Cruiserweight Championship over Cedric Alexander and Elias winning a Ladder Match against Bobby Lashley with the former's coveted guitar suspended above the ring; soon it was off to the main card with the Finals of the WWE Mixed Match Challenge. The Fabulous Truth of R-Truth and Carmella took on Mahalicia's Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox, the winning would receive No. 30 Entries in the Men's and Women's Royal Rumble matches take place next month in Phoenix, that honor honor would go to R-Truth and Carmella would won the Finals by submission. Elsewhere, The Bar retain their SmackDown Tag Team Championships, "The New" Daniel Bryan retain the WWE Championship in an epic battle against AJ Styles, Natalya finally got retribution on Ruby Riott and her squad in a Tables match, Rey Mysterio outsmarted the "Venomous" Randy Orton in a Chairs match, Finn Bálor  got one on Drew McIntyre with a little help from Dolph Ziggler, and Ronda Rousey remained undefeated after nearing tearing the right arm of Nia Jax to retain the Raw Women's Title. For more on some of these stories, here comes a WWE-style Web Choice playlist which offers the reaction from many of the winners of losers of WWE TLC last night.

So much went down in this one last night, and here were three matches that I was really looking forward, the first was Baron Corbin vs Braun Strowman in a TLC Match with a lot on the line, Strowman was recovering from a elbow injury sustained at hands of Corbin who believe he would be the permanent GM of Raw last night, but Strowman turned the tables in a big way. He would turn to Apollo Crews, Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, Finn Bálor, Referee Heath Slater, and the returning Gold Medalist Kurt Angle for help, since there are no disqualification in a TLC Match, all Strowman had to do was put his foot on Corbin's chest, let the referee count to three, and just like Corbin's Days as GM had ended while Strowman will now head to the Royal Rumble to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. the second match that I was looking forward was Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship as Ambrose claimed that he was going to cleansed himself of Rollins and The Shield forever. So with a few Dirty Deeds, Ambrose did exactly what we said he was gonna do, and with such a big victory over Seth Rollins, the WWE has a NEW Intercontinental Champion. Finally was the Main Event which by the way, is the subject of today's #TwitterTrend, Becky Lynch would put her SmackDown Women's Championship on the line in the first ever Women's TLC Match which involved the likes of Charlotte Flair and Asuka, and boy oh boy was it ever an incredible, these three women were destroying one another, they definitively knew hot to people each through a table, jump off a ladder, and pound on human flesh with a chair. All three would try to climb the ladder to retrieve the title hanging high above the ring, but the conclusion of the match got a little ROWDY, for Ronda Rousey made her way to the ring got herself some payback on both Flair and Lynch, costing both of them the match and allowing Asuka to walk out as the NEW SmackDown Women's Champion. The look on Flair and Lynch's faces are one you should not see, as their expression tells you that they are hell bent on revenge on Rousey. Check out the tweets about this match down below with some people congratulating Asuka on her fist Championship win in the WWE.
