Today's Updates are for you, Stan.

Today's UPDATES

Yesterday was a very emotional day for a ton of people, namely Brooklyn Nets fans who watched one of their best players go down in a very ugly ugly way. This Max Sports rundown is going to very short, there is not much for me to say regarding what I saw in last night's Nets game in Minnesota against the Timberwolves, but I can't imagine how the entire Brooklyn Nets organization is feeling right now. The way it all went down last night was like this: The injury occurred with 3.7 seconds remaining in the second quarter of the Nets/T-Wolves game, that's when Caris Levert came down hard on his right leg after colliding with Jeff Teague on an attempted chase-down block. Levert sat up and looked down at his leg, before laying back down on the court and placing his hands on his forehead in apparent pain, the whole T-Wolves arena was silent as medics attended to him and had him stretchered off the court. One can only imagine how it will take for Levert to make a speedy recovery, 'cause god knows that this is not what the Brooklyn Nets want at a time where the NBA season is just getting started. I won't dive into any more details for we have another sad story in the works, but before that, daily sports results for everyone including an updated look at the match card for this Sunday's SmackDown vs Raw Survivor Series from the Staples Center in LA on the WWE Network.

This is a special combined edition of #TwitterTrend and Web Choice, brought to you today by Marvel, one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. That name is a big success thanks in part to "The Man"  who made it a success back in the 1960s, and I am saddened to say that that Man is no longer with us. Stan Lee, American comic-book writer and co-creator of Marvel Comics has passed away at the age of 95 yesterday, and this is a big hit to fans of his work, including me. Even though I do not read Marvel Comics very often, Stan Lee has been mostly responsible in watching Superhero Movies and TV Shows, my introduction into Marvel started back in the early 2000s when I saw the first X-Men movie, followed by some of the classic Marvel animated films including the X-Men, Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man. Before the Marvel Cinematic Universe started ten years ago in 2008, my all-time favorite Marvel film series was Spider-Man starring Tobey Maguire and I thank Stan Lee to creating a Half-Spider Teenage Superhero with a lot of problems in his personal life but could still save the day and put a smile on everyone's face. I was holding my phone in my hand when I was looking up some YouTube videos I was usually do before I went on witter, at around the 2PM hour I saw the first article from TMZ.com about the tragic passing of this wonderful Legend, and he has been more recognized by his frequent cameos in movies; mostly in Marvel movies that is. The last cameo I saw him in was in Tom Hardy's Venom, and you realized from seeing that brief appearance, you can tell that Stan Lee has a lot to do with the creation of Venom who is too a fan-favorite in the Marvel Universe. Now according to Avengers: Infinity War co-director Joe Russo, Stan Lee filmed was is likely his last cameo ever in Avengers 4, it's unsure if he will appear in Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home, but i think that Marvel Studios should do him some justice and have him appear in Tom Holland's Spider-Man sequel for a proper tribute is in order. Lee had also made cameos in films that have nothing due to with Marvel overall, but everywhere he went, he would always find a way to make them funny and interesting, and as you can well imagine a lot of celebrities including Marvel stars are mourning his loss for he seemed to have a lot of life left in him. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Tom Holland, Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Kevin Feige, Winston Duke, Anthony Mackie, Zoe Saldana, Letitia Wright, and Rosario Dawson have shared their thoughts and prayers to the Lee family and what Stan Lee meant to them in their own careers, and you know with so much tragedy, this is who people will want to give their thoughts and prayers to and the victims of some mass shootings because they needed much more than that. All day afternoon yesterday, I had been looking at tweets across social media and retweeting them, for people share my feeling for the loss of Stan Lee, I even updated my own twitter and facebook accounts with new profile pics which feature me and Stan Lee together, though not in real-life, but it would have a great experience for me personally. There are also tweets from fans of both Disney and Marvel who would to see Stan Lee being payed homage in Disneyland Resort's upcoming Marvel Land, perhaps a statue of himself and a few of his famous characters, and I couldn't agree more with that, So "Nuff said," let's see what these people have said about the memory of Stan "The Man" Lee.
