Today's UPDATES

Nothing big to report about in sports, except some fans of the Houston Texans outta be happy to know that they favorite won Big Time last night against the Tennessee Titans in a 34-17 victory. That makes the Texans' record this season 8-3, and they are now tied with the Patriots for the #2 Seed in the AFC Conference, but by virtue of a tiebreaker based on head-to-head win percentage, the Texans are still in the #3 Seed and will have  to hope that the Patriots lose a game or two in order take that #2 Seed for themselves. The Titans meanwhile are now 5-6 with their best chance at making the playoffs for a second time this year is winning the #6 Seed in the AFC and final Wild Card spot, but if some people are looking for some sports-entertainment drama, then look no further to the WWE, and that is what today's Max Sports rundown is all about. First up, WWE COO Triple H announced last week just how well NXT UK doing since it debut in October, on January 12, 2019, the new brand will get its own live special on the WWE Network titled "NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool." There be matches such as Rhea Ripley vs Toni Storm for the NXT UK Women's Championship, Pete Dunne vs Joe Coffey for the WWE United Kingdom Championship, and a Tag Team match to determine the Inaugural NXT UK Tag Team Champions. Aside from all of that, last night's Monday Night Raw had me thinking as to what it is going to be like when SmackDown moves from Tuesday Nights on the USA Network to Friday Nights on FOX starting October 4, 2019. Well, a report came out a few days ago from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter about a rumor that the upcoming FOX television deal with WWE will see the end of the brand split, that likely isn’t the case, and I say that that is the right call for many different reasons. FOX reportedly wants the WWE's current brand split to continue between Raw and SmackDown for FOX doesn’t want to cross-promote the same Superstars that are seen on NBCUniversal’s USA Network, which airs RAW, so the current plan is for both RAW and SmackDown to have separate production crews. In addition, there maybe more live events for the WWE Network later next year with early word saying that SmackDown LIVE will still be live when it moves to Friday nights and the Blue Brand will do whatever Saturday live events that will end up airing on the WWE Network. Meanwhile, the RAW team will work Sundays, for pay-per-view events or Sunday live events, along with its Monday Night duties, and also it should be noted that Fox network officials reportedly want SmackDown to show less comedy and take more of a sports direction, for the Network is including SmackDown as a part of their new sports block of programming, which will run Thursday through Sunday in 2019, and they want some changes made to the product. Some of us have no idea how that will play out, but if FOX acquiring Thursday Night Football this season is any implications, then it was to do the best it can be a Major Player in Broadcast Television. The deal between Disney and 21st Century Fox will be finalized very soon, and the New Fox company wants to do a lot of cross-promoting with the other sports programs that they own and have some of their sports stars & personalities appear on the various shows to heavily promote the block, and they want to give them something athletically-oriented to promote. SO things are really looking up for the WWE in 2019, despite the rubbish that RAW put on last night with General Manager Elect this and Peeing on Somebody's Robe that, heck, check out the results from last night's show down below.

If you are a '90s Kid whose favorite thing to watch on TV was Nickelodeon, then one of your favorite stars to see was Amanda Bynes, cast member of All That beginning in 1996, appeared on various Nickelodeon shows such as Figure It Out and Double Dare 2000, and headlined her own show called "The Amanda Show" in 1999. Today in our #TwitterTrend, we are going to look at a story about this Nick Legend that is both heart-wrenching and heartwarming to a lot of fans, now after leaving Nickelodeon in 2002, Amanda would go on to star in movies such as "Big Fat Liar" and critically acclaimed shows like The WB hit comedy "What I Like About You", but in 2012, everything change for Amanda and not for the best. She began to face legal and substance abuse struggles which became a public spectacle and it made it hard for her fans to look at her the same way again, but that all changed last night with a profile story in PAPER Magazine. The title for it is "Break the Internet: Amanda Bynes," so eat your heart out on that one Wreck-It Ralph, the story is very very good and it's all about how she spent years out of the spotlight, and now Amanda steps back in and opens up about her tumultuous, and remarkable journey. Who knows when we might see Amanda appear in a movie or a TV show, last week legendary Nickelodeon duo Kenan & Kel appeared in a 1-Hour Celebrity Edition of Double Dare after last appearing on Nick a decade and a half ago. Take a lot at these fascinating tweets and see how the once great Amanda Bynes become Great Again.

I freaking love Amanda Bynes: In 2014 she enrolled in FIDM, after first hearing about it, she says, watching The Hills and seeing the reality show's star, Lauren Conrad, attending classes there.

I am so glad that Amanda Bynes seems to be doing so well, and I'm sad that seeing herself in She's The Man put her "into a funk" because she's legitimately, sincerely great in it.
