Today's UPDATES

So no clinching occurred yesterday in the NFL, but here's a Max Sports rundown on most of the action. After knocking off the New York Jets 27-13, the New England Patriots were able to gain some big ground in the standings by improving their record at 8-3 and after the Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Denver Broncos 24-17, things have indeed change. The Steelers find themselves in the 4th Seed in the AFC Conference with a record of 7-3-1 while Patriots take their place in the 2nd Seed, and the Houston Texans who haven't played yet until tonight move up to the 3rd Seed with their record remaining 7-3, and the Kansas City Chiefs, needless to say, are in the 1st Seed at 9-2. So that tie that the Steelers received in Week 1 didn't mean anything at all, not unless they keep winning, and here where next week gets interesting, the Los Chargers Chargers beat the Arizona Cardinals in a landslide victory of 45-10 which makes them now 8-3 for the season and still hold the 5th Seed in the AFC. It seems like they have a chance to over take the Chiefs and claim that 1st Seed, and it their journey begins in Week 13 when they take on Steelers on Sunday Night Football in what could be a playoff preview between the current 4th and 5th Seeds in the AFC. There's a heat battle going on for the AFC's 6th Seed with it currently being held by the Baltimore Ravens who defeated the Oakland Raiders 34-17, the Colts beat the Dolphins 27-24 meaning that the former team is tied with the same record as the Ravens which is 6-5, and the Bengals lost a shocker to the Browns 25-20, the Tennessee Titans haven't played until tonight and they will be traveling to Houston looking to take the Texans down a notch. Not much change in the NFC Conference since the New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys had already played on Thanksgiving and all won, the Los Angeles Rams don't return to action next Sunday and they remain where they are now. So to recap, the Saints and Rams are both 10-1 but are 1st and 2nd in the NFC respectively, the Bears are 8-3 and hold the NFC's 3rd for now, the Cowboys are in 1st place in their division with a record 6-5 which does tie them with the Washington Redskins but it puts each team in the 4th Seed and 6th Seed respectively. The 5th Seed in NFC is held by the Minnesota Vikings who defeated the Green Bay Packers last night 24-17 making them now 6-4-1 for the season, the Seattle Seahawks and Carolina Panthers were in a game yesterday together to try and claim higher position in the playoff picture, the game was won by the Seahawks 30-17 meaning that they tie with the same record as the Panthers at 6-5, but that win gives the Seahawks the tiebreaker over them as they try to chase the Redskins who hold a tiebreaker over Seattle as well. We can probably see a lot of playoff scenarios to come out in Week 13, and I look forward to breaking them all down by then, but for now here's a look at some other games in the NFL yesterday, and in the NBA and NHL.

Last Night's Sunday Night Football game between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings was a real treat to close out Thanksgiving Weekend. Taking place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, the Vikings topped the Packers 24-17 tonight in a classic border battle match up, but before the game got started, the crown at U.S. Bank got themselves a real special treat of their own. This was in the form of Randy Moss, the former NFL Wide Receiver who started his career in 1998 with the Vikings before retiring in 2013 and back in February, he was selected to join the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Last Night, Moss received his Hall of Fame ring in front the thousands of people at U.S. Bank Stadium and let just say that that moment was more than enough to guide Kirk Cousins and the Vikings to victory. For more details on the game last night, I now present a sports edition of #TwitterTrend with ten interesting tweets highlighting what the atmosphere was like in Minneapolis.

I thought to close out today's post that we would see more people reacting to the Live-Action revamp of Disney's The Lion King and its teaser trailer that came out on Thanksgiving. The trailer had a record breaking number of view in the first 24 Hours it debut on the YouTube and the rest of the internet, and people are beginning to remind themselves what it was like watching the animated verison of the film in the mid-1990s. I do remember seeing it on a VHS tape in my house, and my family still have that tape now, so I think to myself now as to whether or not I should see the Live-Action remake when it hit theaters in Summer 2019, though I have a lot of time to figure that out Disney will have boat load of blockbuster films next year whose titles you already know by now. So here's more Lion King trailer reaction videos courtesy of Web Choice and #KlicKNet.
