Today's UPDATES

Believe it or not, two murders were committed in one night, this is a very serious situation on hand, and from what I understand is that................................the New York Yankees and the Washington Redskins were ultimately humiliateD last night. Max Sports has the latest on Postseason matchups and a Monday Night Football game that was full of making history. First up, the Houston Astros and the Los Angeles advanced to the Championship Series of their respective leagues, while the Dodgers and Brewers will lock horns in Milwaukee on Friday, the Astros still what for their next opponent. Last night seemed almost crystal clear who that might be, after the Boston Red Sox not only came to Yankee Stadium to beat the Yankees, but flat out murder them. Red Sox won 16-1 to take a 2-1 series lead in their ALDS, but the real story in this game is the fact that Brock Holt did something that has never been done before in the MLB postseason, which was hit for the cycle. That's right, it all started when Holt hit a single to shallow center when it was 3-0 Sox in the fourth inning, and in the same inning with the lead extended to 8-0 Sox, Holt was back on home plate and hit a triple to right to drive in two runs and making it 10-0 Sox. In the eighth inning, with the Red Sox lead 11-1, Brock Holt hit a ground rule double to deep center field allowing another run to score and the Red Sox were up by 12 runs, and finally in the ninth inning with the Red Sox leading 14-1, Holt hit a two-run home run to make it 16-1 Sox. Just like that, Brock Holt becomes the first player in MLB postseason history to hit for the cycle, but it wasn't just him who made history last night. "New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees is now the most prolific passer in NFL History", according to Bleacher Report, that's because he passed Peyton Manning to become the NFL's all-time leader in yards passing. All it took was a 62-yard touchdown to Saints rookie Tre'Quan Smith in the second quarter of a Monday night game against the lousy Washington Redskins which New Orleans would later on win in a lopsided 43-19 victory. According to ESPN.com, "Brees entered the game needing 201 yards to eclipse Peyton Manning's previous mark of 71,940 yards. He had 250 yards and two touchdowns by halftime and finished 26 of 29 for 363 yards and three touchdowns. He has yet to throw an interception this season." In the Saints' last first-half possessions on their own 38, "Brees needed just 35 yards to break the record, and on the first play of the drive, Brees launched a pass toward the right sideline to the speedy [Tre'Quan] Smith, who was wide open and easily sprinted away [to the end zone]." After what I have hear from last night, we could very well see the Red Sox in the World Series and the Saints in the Super Bowl, for more sports crazys, head down below for some major results.

Every Tuesday leading up to the 2018 Midterm Elections on November 6th, March For Our Lives has been issuing a new call to action to younger people across the United States. This is simply to encourage all eligible voters to elect morally just leaders who are on all levels of the government. March For Our Lives have called it "#TurnoutTuesday" and I'm here to celebrate it with a #TwitterTrend that will leave people, including voters, speechless. Last Sunday, female singer and songwriter Taylor Swift got really emotional on Instagram and criticized GOP Senate candidate Marsha Blackburn for her record on human rights. Swift had said that she had been "reluctant" to talk about politics in the past but feels differently now "due to several events in [her] life and in the world in the past two years." Clearly the two years of Trump in Office has not been kind to Ms. Swift and would later endorse Democratic candidates for the midterm elections in her home state of Tennessee, but what happened after that will, like I say before, "speechless". Apparently, U.S. voter registration has spiked and Vote.org statistics have reported 51,308 new registrations in the 24 hours since Taylor Swift shared her political views and urged people to vote, who ever heard of something like that? Certainly not the president himself and after he learned of Taylor's statement, you can bet he had a few words of his own and said that he now likes her music much much less. How typical of Trump to say such things, but he may regret it later in life should the Democrats win on November 6th and claim a that "Blue Wave" they've been waiting for two years, meanwhile, here's a look at some tweets regarding the spike in U.S. voter registration and the story made by Taylor Swift earlier on this week.

Not a huge #TaylorSwift fan music-wise, but this is so great of her. Sending in my voter registration tomorrow. I'm ashamed of not voting in the last election.

Tomorrow, we'll discuss who has qualified for WWE's 8-Man World Cup Tournament at WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia which will now feature Shawn Michaels returning to in-ring action for the first time in eight and a half years. March 28, 2010 was the night when Shawn Michaels competed in what was his last match in a WWE match, and it took place at WrestleMania XXVI in Glendale, Arizona. That night holds a special place in my mind because that was when I saw my very first WrestleMania on Pay-Per-View thanks to some money I earned on my fourteenth birthday, the ending of Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker was a perfect as anyone else could ever imagine, and I did not mind the fact that it was HBK's last match before he retired. But fast forward to last Saturday at WWE Super Show Down, things had indeed changed, after the Undertaker lost to Triple H, he and his brother Kane attacked The Cerebral Assassin and The Showstopper despite the show of respect that the Brothers of Destruction [pretendly] showed to both founders of DX. So last night at the start of Monday Night Raw, Triple H and Shawn Michaels made it perfectly clear that they are not having it no more, so HBK announced that he come back for one last match at WWE Crown Jewel from the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will be D-Generation X vs The Brothers of Destruction in four weeks on the WWE Network, along with the World Cup Tournament and two World Championship matches, Daniel Bryan will challenge for the WWE Championship for the first time in about four years, against AJ Styles and then there's the Triple Threat match for the Universal Championship between Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar.
