Today's UPDATES

Man, yesterday seemed like a good day in the NFL, as twenty-six teams competing in thirteen must-see games, and Max Sports is here to talk about all of them. The Cleveland Browns has been one funny team as of late, they tied in overtime with the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1, lost to the Oakland Raiders in overtime in Week 4, and yesterday they beat the Baltimore Ravens in Overtime 12-9. Meanwhile, both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams remain undefeated at 5-0 after the Chiefs would pound on the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Rams survive by a thread with the Seattle Seahawks in a 33-31. The funniest thing I saw yesterday was that 33-31 was the score that the Carolina Panthers won to beat the New York Giants who worked until the very last minute of the game to make a big comeback only to have ingated after the Panthers hit a massive field with six seconds left on the clock. A lot other teams got a real good pounding yesterday with the Broncos losing to the Jets 36-14, the Raiders failed in a 26-10 loss to the Chargers, the Dolphins lost back-to-back after the Bengals beat them 27-17, the 49ers suffered a loss the Cardinals who won their first game with rookie QB Jose Rosen 28-18, the Falcons were crushed by the Steelers 41-17, and the Packers were stunned by the Lions 31-23. Needless to say, the Buffalo Bills did quite alright against the Tennessee Titans 13-12, but how about the Minnesota Vikings returning to the place where they lost in the NFC Championship last January and finally avenging their playoff loss by handing the Philadelphia Eagles a loss of their own, 23-21 to be exact, and finally in Sunday Night Football, it was Battle in Texas between the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans which had to be decided in overtime, and the team to come out on top in a 19-16 victory was the Texans. Tonight is Monday Night Football between the Washington Redskins and the New Orleans Saints, but before then there's three MLB postseason games being played today, two which are win or go home situations, and for more on that scroll on down below for the latest results.

Some of us Marvel Fans have known for a long time that Chris Evans would retire..........as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and last week we might have gotten confirmation on that story which you can see in today's #TwitterTrend. I can well remember seeing Chris Evans for the first time in July 2011 as Captain America in The First Avenger, you could consider him as the last piece of a really big puzzle for the Avengers and Phase One of the MCU. Last Thursday, the actor revealed that he had wrapped up his last day of filming on the set of Avengers 4, which might have been spoiled on The Tonight Show by Mark Ruffalo by the way, as Evans is bidding what seemed like a farewell to Steve Rogers. He has been playing this role for eight fantastic years, and when I say fantastic, I mean it has been cool to see how far Chris Evans has come from being the Human Torch in Fantastic Four to the Star-Spangled Avenger in a series of Avengers films which have reached more than $1 Billion Dollars at the box office. But now, it may indeed be time for Mr. Evans to hang up the shield after Avengers 4 which in my estimation, is shaping to be just like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows - Part 2, for 2019 will be the MCU biggest year yet, and it will be the end of a Chapter that has lasted for over a decade. Marvel fans everywhere reacted to Chris Evans' emotional tribute to Captain America, and some of them are right here on this post along with Evans' tribute on Twitter.

Chris Evans @ChrisEvans
Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.

Edna Carballo @Edni88

Pietro @MadeOfPop91
#ThankYouChrisEvans for being the perfect embodiment of what is, in my opinion, the best character in the whole MCU. Thank you for portraying such a pure, selfless, brave and proud inspirational character. Thank you for leaving such a mark in my soul. Eternally Grateful.
Spooky Dan Casey @DanCasey
Seriously though I'm gonna get chills if they include this scene between Captain America and Thanos in Avengers 4

#ThankYouChrisEvans for being to Captain America what Christopher Reeve was to Superman. There will never be anyone who approaches a role like this with as much care and love as you do, and I am forever grateful we got to witness it. We're with you til the end of the line, Cap.
raquel @gwlaxygirl
our captain forever.

8 years, 8 months, it doesn’t matter. you’ve touched so many fans’ hearts in your time in the role and i adore you for that #ThankYouChrisEvans ๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’–

Hollywood Reporter @THR
After playing #CaptainAmerica for nearly a decade, @ChrisEvans tweeted that he is officially hanging up his shield: "To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful" http://thr.cm/JzwiIh

maria @cevansdoritos
steve rogers will never die because he will stay alive within chris evans

Borys Kit @Borys_Kit
Back in 2010 I broke the news of @ChrisEvans being offered, then accepting, the role of CAPTAIN AMERICA. Funny revisiting those stories: One complication facing Evans at the time was scheduling shooting WHAT'S YOUR NUMBER? with Anna Faris.
Grace Randolph @GraceRandolph
I totally believe that #Avengers4 wrap is a MILESTONE for @ChrisEvans as #CaptainAmerica, but I simply don't believe he won't be back - too popular a character.  I suspect we'll be getting a lot of these types of tweets from the cast, maybe even to throw us off re story...

The 2018 Midterm Elections are just a month away and things seem to be crystal clear after after last Saturday. That was when Brett Kavanaugh was officially nominated into the U.S. Supreme Court after the Senate voted yes, despite the protest from angry Democrats, Liberals, Activist, and normal everyday Civilians who took to the streets of Washington, D.C. and show the Republicans that they're not taking this BS anymore. But what the nomination did tell us is who exactly is going to win what in the Midterms on November 6th, and a lot news media outlets and cable news channels have weighed in on their predictions and analysis for people who are planning to vote next month. For a better outlook on the Elections, here's bit of a political Web Choice playlist which explain that some candidates of their respective party are not messing around when it comes to these sort of things.
