Today's UPDATES

Our Top Story today, WWE Evolution last night was absolute LIT with seven all-women's matches as part of the first ever all-women's Pay-Per-View. Listen to this Max Sports rundown, the night kicked off with a live performance from Lzzy Hale and Nita Strauss, then we got ourselves a blast from the past with the opening match being Trish Stratus and Lita vs Mickie James and Alicia Fox with Alexa Bliss in the corner of James and Fox. Alexa Bliss couldn't compete last night due to injury, but I could care more or less for that since the real action was in the ring and it felt do awesome to Stratus, Lita, and Mickie in the same ring for one night only, I remember seeing all of them on Monday Night Raw in 2006, that was the year that Stratus and Lita retired from wrestling. These women proved last night that they still have lot to show for in the ring as no injury could hold not one of them down from making women's wrestling the success that it is today, in the end, it was Team Besities (Trish & Lita) won come out on top with the tag team victory. The next was the 20-women battle royal with a future opportunity at a women's title match on the line, the battle royal featured WWE female Superstars from the past and present such as Kelly Kelly, Maria, Michelle McCool, Torrie Wilson, Ivory, Molly Holly, Alundra Blayze, but in the end it was Nia Jax who would survive and earn herself a women's title shot. The next match was the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament final between Toni Storm and Io Shirai, it was a global affair in which New Zealand's best took on the best that Japan has to offer, and thing that would have made more sweeter if Shirai had won for she is the best friend of last year's Mae Young Classic winner Kairi Sane. Shirai however came up short and Toni Storm would win the 2018 Edition of the Mae Young Classic with two Storm Zero finishers, we then moved on to some more tag team action with The Riott Squad vs Sasha Banks, Natalya and Bayley. The Squad was keep each alive in this 6-Woman Tag, but they seemed to be no match for the trio of Sasha, Natalya, Bayley who paid homage to some of their favorite legends and won via pinfall. Soon it was time for the first of three women's championship matches, the NXT Women's TItle match was between two ladies who know each other since last year's Mae Young Classic Finals, Kairi Sane and Shayna Baszler had the crowd at the Nassau Coliseum scream "NXT" all throughout the match, Baszler had some assistance from her MMA buddies Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke and would make Kairi lose by submission, allowing Baszler to become first two-time NXT Women's Champion, The event would have even greater if the NXT UK Women's title was defended, but it was pulled off the main match card and placed in dark match before Evolution started and Rhea Ripley would defeat Dakota Kai ti retain said. The match of night in my estimation had be the Last Woman Standing match for the SmackDown Women's Championship, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair took their bitter rivalry to the extreme last night, either women would stay down for a ten count until Becky drove Charlotte through a table to the ringside area and would stand tall with the SmackDown Title over her head. Finally, the main event was Nikki Bella vs Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship, Nikki had never looked good after a few years off the sleeves but she and her twin sister Brie Bella were in Long Island to try take the Raw Women's Title away from the Rowdy One, but Ronda was not all phased by their twin magic and showed massive power to keep the from stealing the victory. My Overall Grade for WWE Evolution would be a A+ because it was something we have never seen before and that's what made it a great show to begin with. even more great than some of the NFL, NBA and NHL games that took place yesterday and Game of the World Series, though take a look the results from all of those games down below.

Can anyone say "Déjà vu"? Our next story concerns the fifth game of the 2018 World Series, and it seemed like the 2015 World Series all over again. The Royals defeated the Mets three years ago in five games with one of them ending up in extra inning and another ended with the Royals celebrating their World Series Championship on the Mets' home field. That's just how it felt last night for the Los Angeles Dodgers who time and time again came up short with the Boston Red Sox despite winning Game 3 last Friday night that lasted seven hours and twenty minutes. The pitching match up last night was David Price vs Clayton Kershaw, though the latter did not fare well in the game for too long was taken out by the seventh inning. Both team would score in the first inning, but Steve Pearce gave the Red Sox the lead with a two-run home run to center while the Dodgers' David Freese hit a solo blast to right field to give them their only run of the game. The Red Sox just could not be stopped, homer after homer, hit after hit, the best team in baseball this year showed exactly why they are the best team in baseball this year, Mookie Betts hit a home run in the sixth inning, J.D. Martinez got one in the seventh inning and Steve Pearce got another in the eighth inning. Pearce was on fire for the entire series and was named World Series MVP last night after the Red Sox won 5-1 and celebrated their ninth World Series Championship in franchise history. While they couldn't celebrate with their fans in Boston last night, some of the most loyal ones flew all the way to Los Angeles to see their win in it all, and they would dance the whole night away in both the streets of LA and Boston, which has been the whole subject of this #TwitterTrend. Now, it's time to just how these fans and their team are celebrating after months and months of getting to this moment, no doubt in their mind that they'd want to stop any time soon.

Eight days left until the 2018 Midterm Elections after last week acts of terror across the country, you must wonder how they will affect the Elections in general. I have been looking at so many tweets lately on Twitter from people begging others to go to the polls on November 6th and vote. Some are saying that the President doesn't give a FLYING SH*T about what's happening in the country which is more than enough to drive people to vote blue and also vote in leaders who can stand up for those who are suffering from the misdeeds of others with darkness in their hearts and would purposely take life away. Keep in mind, #KlicKNet will be off for all of next week so that I can prepare for the Midterm Elections and to write The Kyrie File Election Special, you have no idea what I have planned for that, but Kyrie will have more than enough things about the outcome of said elections. In the meantime, here's another political Web Choice playlist about what is at stake on November 6th, with the Democrats and the Republicans trying to gain an advantage on one another to the bitter end.
