Today's UPDATES

Game 1 was exactly what it should have been, two teams duking it out to gain a first win advantage in the World Series and all it really takes is one swing at the ball to gain some sort of advantage in Game 1. In this Max Sports rundown, we are going to go deeply in-depth at how last night's first game in the 2018 Fall Classic lived up to its hype, as the East Coast Red Sox would pound on the West Coast Dodgers in the early going of the game with two back-to-back singles by Andrew Benintendi and J.D. Martinez putting the Red Sox 2-0. Matt Kemp got the Dodgers within one run in the second inning with a solo home run to center field of Fenway Park, Manny Machado tied the game at 2-2 in the third inning after he hit a single that would drive a run for the Dodge. However, Martinez got the Sox back up 3-2 with a double to deep center, but it was only until the fifth when Machado tied the game again at 3-3 in which the Dodgers cashed-in on his ground out to second. In that same inning, Xander Bogaerts' ground out into a fielder's choice to shortstop and Rafael Devers' single to left allowed the Sox to lead 5-3. The Dodgers were able to earn another run in the seventh inning thanks to Machado's sacrifice fly to make it 5-4 Red Sox, but the Sox put the final nailed in the casket with a three-run home run by Eduardo Nunez and went on to win Game 1 8-4. Both teams' starting pitchers would last only four inning in the game, but Chris Sale made 7 strikeouts over Clayton Kershaw's 5 strikeouts, plus Sale ended his night with a 6.75 ERA while Kershaw's ERA rose to 11.25. Tonight's starting pitching in Game 2 is the Dodgers' Hyun-jin Ryu and the Red Sox's David Price, only can only wonder if the Dodgers have wah tit takes to tie the series at 1-1 after tonight or will the Red Sox gained a 2-0 advantage, we'll just have to wait and see.

13 Days stand between us and the 2018 Midterm Elections and with the campaigns of both the Republicans and the Democrats are mobilizing voters. They are also donating dollars in the final weeks of the midterms, as the fate of the Senate and the House  and also Mr. President's policy agenda hang in the balance. I have been following these elections since the start of the year and I'm certainly ready for the chaos that will ensure right after they are over. By chaos, I mean that the 2020 Presidential Election will soon begin before they even officially announce it, so what is at stake in this year's elections that has the entire United States of America talking? The following #TwitterTrend contains information on where everything stands in regards to the races and with a lucky/unlucky thirteen days left, the clock is ticking for America to get out there, make a difference in the country and vote.

Amid all the noise of campaigning and movement in this or that poll, the @FiveThirtyEight House forecast has crept a bit more toward the Democrats lately - now given an 86% chance to take control. Republicans are still favorites to hold the Senate. https://t.co/uQBtBEqsgC
Dave Wasserman @Redistrict
Hard to overstate how much different this midterm electorate will look vs. 2014/2010, which were utterly dominated by older & white voters.

If 2010 was the "Year of the Angry White Senior," 2018 is most definitely the "Year of the Fired Up Female College Graduate."

There's only two weeks until Election Day. How easy is it to vote in your state?
ABC News Politics @ABCPolitics
278 women won major party nominations this year in the U.S. House, Senate and gubernatorial races, shattering previous records and setting the stage for a potential dramatic shift in the gender balance of national politics. https://abcn.ws/2CZSW2q

Here are the 15 #Senate races that @ForecasterEnten sees having the smallest margin between parties. In other words, these are where the #bluewave needs to float some boats. Learn more at The Forecast http://ow.ly/XmlR30mkLKZ  #midterms

Republicans have 6 % point lead among voters who turned out in 2014. Democrats have a 10 % point lead among likely voters who didn’t; but it’s white educated voters, not young or minorities (parties’ 2016 education trade is better for Dem midterm turnout)
FiveThirtyEight @FiveThirtyEight
Trump's approval rating is up. Republican House chances are down. Does that make any sense?
Steve Kornacki @SteveKornacki
In Oct. '06, a month before Dems won the House in a midterm wave, the NBC/WSJ poll found 69% of Dem voters had very high interest in the election, compared to 56% of R's.

In the new NBC/WSJ poll, 72% of Dem voters have very high interest now, compared to 68% for R's.

Aaron Zitner @aaronzitner
Boy, the election signals are mixed. Polls show the GOP narrowing the gap on enthusiasm and the generic ballot. But analysts keep shifting their race calls toward the Democrats.

Dave Wasserman @Redistrict
Reality check: Trump’s job approval among female college graduates in newest NBC/WSJ poll: 27%/70%. The “blue wave” = suburban women.

Evan Siegfried @evansiegfried
Turnout among younger voters has been increasing. 2016 saw the second highest turnout among voters 18-29 since 2000. In 2017 elections, young voter turnout set records. Current data and evidence suggest that we will see record turnout among young voters for a midterm election

Ariel Edwards-Levy @aedwardslevy
the good news is there is a 100% foolproof method for knowing what's going to happen in this election and it's called Waiting Two Weeks

Michael McDonald @ElectProject
I've held off on making election outcome predictions because we really do not have enough data yet. If patterns hold, the early electorate is going to shift towards Dems in the next two weeks. There is strong evidence of high turnout, which is all I am predicting right now

Michael McDonald @ElectProject
It's also possible the record midterm pace of early voting is a flash in the pan. There are no signs of that as yet, but it is a possibility. I think we'll at least be in the mid to high 40% turnout of those eligible to vote. If this pace holds we'd top 50%. We'll see...

Rumors No More, the strangest thing happened to me yesterday, I was out with my mom to run a very quick errand, while we were waiting on a bench, I decided to look up some stuff on Twitter. And that's when I saw it, of should I say "saw her," a leaked photo of Gwyneth Paltrow in what looks to be a purple colored verison of the Iron Man armor in the Marvel Cinematic "motherloving" Universe. I jump out of the bench in joy and try to hold my excitement with my own mother watching and try read to a few articles on social media about the leak photo. I was able to retweet the tweet that was send out by "MCU News & Tweets" who uncovered the photo from a person on Instagram, and I had this to write: "Please tell me this not photoshop or something! #PEPPERPOTTS #RESCUE #AVENGERS4." Unfortunately, the tweet was taken down in a couple of hours, but luckily I was not the only one to have seen it, and therefore today's Web Choice playlist gives #KlicKNet viewers a good take on the photo from other people's perspective on YouTube.
