Today's UPDATES

In just one more day will be the 2018 World Series between two teams who are meeting each other in said series for the first time in their histories. Tomorrow, we'll have a full Max Sports rundown on the match up between the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers right before the big Game 1 starts, but today we're going to discuss another Los Angeles that seems to have high hops for the future. The Lakers are the new home of LeBron James and he's been looking forward to play in purple and gold sign he signed a contract with the team early last summer, and while he has brought along a couple of veterans to the team, in likes of Rajon Rondo and Lance Stephenson, it seems like the Lakers are miles and miles away from ever winning a championship. LeBron was indeed excellent in the Lakers' Home Opener at the Staples Center last Saturday night, the game was televised on ESPN to allow the National audience to witness this Icon play in a new city after leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers last season. The Lakers' opponents were the runner-ups of last season's Western Conference Finals, the Houston Rockets who wanted to play spoiler to LeBron's Home Opener with his new team, and boy did they ever, for despite LeBron getting 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, the Rockets relied on some of its best players to work together as a proper unit. James Harden had scored the most points for the Rockets with 36 points, Clint Capela had 19 points and 12 rebounds, and Chris Paul had racked up 28 points and 10 assists. Houston would win 124-115, but there was something else in the game that stole the entire show in Los Angeles, three players (Paul, Rondo and Brandon Ingram) were ejected after a fight that started with 4:13 left in fourth quarter, Ingram fouled James Harden who made a easily basket that did not count and Harden was very upset. Then, Ingram pushed Harden in the back and he was given a technical foul for and then a ejection, not long after, Paul and Rondo got in each other's face. Paul believed that Rondo intentionally spit in his face, so he put would put his finger in Rondo's face and caused the two players to throw punches at each other, the Ingram ran in and threw a punch at Paul. Luckily, it did not get any worse, but Paul and Rondo were ejected from the game, and then yesterday, the NBA announced that Ingram would be suspended for 4 games, Rondo was suspended for 3, and Paul for 2. So while the Rockets received minimum damaged from that incident, the Lakers will be without two of its most important players for a couple of days to start the season. Meanwhile, 12 NFL games were played yesterday with 12 winners making an impact in the standings as seven weeks in the 2018 Season are nearly in the books, so let's take a look at each results carefully.

A lot of people are weighing in their opinions on the fight took place last Saturday between the Rockets and the Lakers. Whether or nor Rajon Rondo did spit in Chris Paul, and whether or not if both of them and Brandon Ingram got the number of game suspensions they deserve. Well, when you look at from my perspective, this is a classic issue that happens all the time in the NBA and in other sports, emotions are running at an all-time nigh, especially when a new season is about to begin. From what I have, Rondo and Paul have always had issues in the past, they do not like each from the start, can't imagine what it would be like if they were played on the same team together. The NBA has been reviewing video of the fight at the point of where Rondo allegedly spit in Paul's face, as I saw the video, I could see that some spit leave the mouth of Rondo, but it is uncertain if it was intention or not. Either way, those punches were completely legit and therefore Paul, Rondo and Ingram got the number of suspensions that they deserve, but what do other think about it? Well this upcoming #TwitterTrend gives out tons of tweets to #KlicKNet viewers, mostly from sports analysts who have had a lot to say about they saw from the fight.

Metta world Peace (Ron Artest) literally just said “That was a hell of a left hand” “and the uppercut?!” referring to the fight. 😂

Lakers/Rockets fracas:
- Brandon Ingram: personal foul, two technicals, ejected
- Chris Paul: ejected
- Rajon Rondo: ejected

And Ingram stared down a ref after starting the whole thing with a shove and then rushed back into the scrum with a swing after being ushered out of the scrum

Sources: Lakers officials watched tape and are backing Rajon Rondo’s contention that he didn’t spit on Chris Paul. Meanwhile, CP3 and Rockets are insisting that Rondo did spit. “Lot of history between them,” one source connected to both players says.

Keith Smith @KeithSmithNBA
Somewhat lighter than expected punishment for Ingram, Rondo and Paul, but the NBA has been more lenient under Adam Silver than under David Stern. I also expect that each will be paying a fairly hefty fine as well.

Sean Highkin @highkin
One factor that may have been considered in what seems like light suspensions for Rondo/CP3/Ingram: the fight stayed on the court. No fans were involved.

Tweetgood Mac @SnottieDrippen
I have a feeling that if this wasn't Chris Paul that's involved, let's say it was Dennis Schroder, Rondo, and Brandon Ingram? They all would have gotten more games.

Dave McMenamin @mcten
Despite video evidence suggesting the contrary, Lakers coach Luke Walton said after practice Sunday that he does not think Rajon Rondo spat on Chris Paul's face in Saturday's game.

Jim Lefko @jimlefko
Good news for #Spurs quite possible if #lakers Rondo & Ingram get suspended for Monday’s game in LA after both threw punches Saturday in melee vs #rockets.

Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn
Whatever case Rondo's making, NBA is evaluating a video clip captured courtside that shows saliva/spit shooting from Rondo's mouth onto Chris Paul's face. It appears Rondo will have to sell league on fact that it was unintentional -- and that appears to be a tough case to make.

Last week there many many rumors on the untitled Avengers film, coming to theaters on May 3rd, 2019, and there was one that has intrigued me for the past five years. A few pictures were leaked online about new toys and action figures that seem to give us a clue about what Avengers 4 is going to be about. The surviving Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy from Infinity War are some sort of white suit, Thanos has a new look for himself, and there are two new Iron Man armors. But one of those armors are colored purple and when you look at it very closer, it looks like something a female could wear. A female like Pepper Potts who made an appearance in Infinity War and is set to return, Gwyneth Paltrow, the actress who has played this lovely character since the first Iron Man film in 2008, has shared hints about her role in Avengers 4 on social media. It could very well mean that she could get her very own Iron suit and become the fan-favorite Marvel hero known as Rescue, I personally hoped she would get that chance in Iron Man 3, but I almost gave up on that rumor when she didn't. But these leak photos could change everything, and not just for fans but the MCU which promises to have more female superheroes in the near future, for more on this big time rumor, I now present a Web Choice playlist of movie fans with their own opinions about the leak photos from last week.
