Today's UPDATES

East Coast Red Sox meet West Coast Dodgers for the first time ever in the World Series, after Dodge won a winner-take-all Game 7 last night in Milwaukee against the Brewers. Listen to this Max Sports rundown, just when you thought that the Brewers were going to clinch their very first Pennant and World Series trip after a solo home in the first inning by Christian Yelich, the Dodgers came alive at the worst time for their opponents. The Brewers' starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin pitched a good first inning until in the second inning when he gave a two-run home run by Cody Bellinger and then a three-run home run from Yasiel Puig in the sixth. No matter what they did to get back in the game and keep their World Series hopes alive, the Brewers were thwarted every single time, and when it came to the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dodgers brought in their closing pitcher Clayton Kershaw, You can certainly guess what happened next, Kershaw forced his first hitter to ground out to third, and then strike out the last two Brewers player to seal the deal on a 5-1 victory for the LA Dodgers who will repeat their trip to the World Series. But instead of going to Houston, the Dodge will this time hit the road to Boston for Game 1 against the Red Sox in a first time match-up, we've seen the Lakers and Celtics in the NBA Finals, but the rivalry between the two cities if Los Angeles and Boston is revived in baseball, and who knows, we could see a Rams-Patriots Super Bowl in February. In the meantime, we can now focus on the World Series which kick off this Tuesday night as both Pennant winning teams look to prepare after three weeks of running through their respective opponents just to get to this moment of the MLB Postseason. There was a lot of hard-hitting action in the NBA and NHL yesterday, and we're sure to see that again in the NFL today, take a look at these match ups.

Is there no justice in the world of television? Probably not after what everyone has been talking since last Friday, a subject that it fit for today's #TwitterTrend. A couple of days ago, Marvel and Netflix that they were canceling Iron Fist after it had premiere its second season last month, and after I had finished watching the first five episode of Daredevil's third season, I saw an article from Deadline.com via Twitter some very heartbreaking news. Netflix has decided to cancel Marvel's Luke Cage after its second season aired last June. Interesting enough, some people did not might if they chose to cancel the Immortal Iron Fist, but axing out the Hero of Harlem has to be a big fat "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" So the only Marvel shows left on Netflix are Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Punisher, but it could be a matter of time before they gone as well, I'm just making that prediction right now. But, there maybe one solace to this whole thing, and that is that Disney may pick up these canceled shows and place them on its upcoming steaming service which is on its way debuting later next year, but one can only wonder as to how they are going to fit with the content that this this service is going to offer to its consumers. I'm not the only one is distress or sadness from such news, take a look at what some of the most interesting voices of the known Twitterverse have to say about it.

Iron Fist and now Luke Cage cancelled... this is the only thing going through my mind

Another @Marvel series falls at @netflix . One week after #IronFist was canned, the @realmikecolter led & @cheo_coker run #LukeCage has been cancelled

Damb. I wasn’t a Marvel/DC type kid but I invested in Luke Cage for the culture. I was excited about @AnnabellSciorra getting her just due, also excited for season 3 ep titles. What was reasoning @cheo_coker?

Damon Martin @DamonMartin
Marvel's LUKE CAGE cancelled after 2 seasons on Netflix.

This is some hot garbage if you ask me — Luke Cage definitely had flaws but the show really hit its stride in season 2 and now it's gone

At the very least, I hope fans of both "Luke Cage" and "Iron Fist" start petitioning @hulu to produce a "Heroes for Hire" series that would allow both shows to wrap their respective storylines.

Joshua Yehlblazer @JoshuaYehl
Luke Cage has been canceled. Now wouldn’t be a bad time to team up Luke and Iron Fist for a Heroes for Hire show also featuring the Daughters of the Dragon, Misty Knight and Colleen Wing.

With Disney launching a competing streaming service, I have to wonder what factor that played in these cancellations. I’d like to know more about Netflix’s original deal with Marvel, like how long Netflix gets to make these shows for and use these characters.

The 2018 Midterm Elections are sixteen days away and a just quick reminder, I am planning to do a special Election night edition of The InZane Club segment known as The Kyrie File. This is going to take a lot of time to come which is why during this current weekend, a=have decided to take week from #KlicKNet on the exact same week of the Midterms (November 4th through the 8th). The special will posted on November 9th and the usual daily updates will be posted on my Facebook so that I'm never away from the news and hopefully I can limit myself from doing so much work that I'll have time to write a great Election episode. As for what's going on between now and the Midterms, the Democrats gain more and more advantage in retaking the House but find their chances at Senate slowing going down, but regardless of that, it seems that the Democrats are on their way of redeeming themselves of that dreadful November night in 2016. For more on what's going on in politics, this all-new Web Choice playlist to get voters, new and/or old, concern about what is at stake this November 6th and how it will affect America going forward.
