Today's UPDATES

It's hard to tell where we are going to determine who gets to play in the 2018 World Series, the defending World Champions Houston Astros want to repeat as its championship run, something that has not been in done years. In our Max Sports rundown today, we discuss last night when they took on the Boston Red Sox in Game 1 in the 2018 ALCS, George Springer got things moving with a single to left in the second inning with the bases loaded for the Astros, and Carlos Correa and Martin Maldonado ran home to make it a 2-0 lead for the Astros. The Red Sox would not score until the fifth inning when they had the bases loaded for themselves, and thanks to walk for Mitch Moreland and a wild pitch that would send Jackie Bradley Jr. home to tie the game at 2-2. The Astros got the lead back in the sixth with Correa's single to center allowing Alex Bregman, and soon in the ninth, they would lead by five with a solo home run by Josh Reddick and a three-run homer by Yuli Gurriel, and the Astros would take Game 1 7-2. Meanwhile in the 2018 NLCS, the Milwaukee Bucks would win Game 1 by one run, just as the Los Angeles won Game 2 yesterday by one run, so their series is tied at 1 game piece and now heads to Los Angeles tomorrow. This week could very well determine who is playing the the Fall Classic towards the end of the month, and it a will be classic between two teams who have worked their way all season, just to get to this moment in baseball. Check out Game 2 between the Astros and Sox tonight along with a ton of NFL Games that you need to see.

Nobody saw this one coming, but it looks like there has been a rift in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it's the subject of today's #TwitterTrend.  Netflix, last Friday, confirmed that Marvel's Iron Fist will not return for a third season, making it the first Marvel series on the streaming service to end prematurely. Luckily,, this will not affect the other Marvel series that are still on Netflix, especially the third season of Daredevil this coming Friday, either the third seasons of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, and the second season of The Punisher. There may be a bright side somewhere down the line, and that being this statement that Marvel and Netflix made saying: “We’re thankful to the fans who have watched these two seasons, and for the partnership we’ve shared on this series. While the series on Netflix has ended, the immortal Iron Fist will live on.” Therefore, Iron Fist could be picked up by other platforms, maybe even the streaming service that Disney is expected to launch next year, which already has series on Marvel fan favorites Loki and the Scarlet Witch in the pipeline, with Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen expect to reprise their big screen roles. So even though that Marvel wanted Iron Fist to continue on Netflix, the parent company’s the idea of a resurrection on Disney's streaming service has been put into consideration as it will also include Jon Favreau's Star Wars series, The Mandalorian. In the meantime, let's see what tweets have to say about the tale of billionaire Danny Rand and Colleen Wing being axed by Netflix after only two seasons.

Netflix just cancelled the Marvel series Iron Fist

#Netflix Officially Cancelled #IronFist. So No Season 3.

Holy cow, Iron Fist has been cancelled by Netflix http://on.io9.com/xE81hhp
Brian Grubb @briancgrubb
the thing i'll miss most about iron fist is all the other characters roasting him for being a doofus

IRON FIST Cancelled at Netflix, No Season 3 Coming
Dominic Patten @DeadlineDominic
EXCLU: #IronFist canceled by @netflix; no Season 3 for @Marvel martial arts series with Finn Jones & @JHenwick but could find new life on @Disney streamer ...maybe:

Satan Herself @haykittygirl
No more Danny Rand, the immortal Iron fist, protector of K'un Lun, sworn enemy of The Hand?

Paul Shirey @arcticninjapaul
With the absolute backward steps they took in season 2, Iron Fist earned its cancelation. What a disappointment to what could’ve been a great season, but completely lost the pulse of its main character. An example of what NOT to do IMO.

Adam Spector - the Fist of Khonshu. @Howsito
THIS. When you compare Danny in s2 of Luke Cage to Iron Fist s2, you can see what Finn Jones can do with the role when a quality showrunner such as @cheo_coker is at the helm.

James Whitbrook @Jwhitbrook
I genuinely can't believe that I'm about to say this:

Netflix has cancelled Iron Fist, and I'm actually sad?

James Whitbrook @Jwhitbrook
Exploring the legacy of the Iron Fist mantle, pushing Colleen into the spotlight, the Daughters of the Dragon...

Iron Fist didn't deserve to go out like this. Okay, well maybe Danny Rand did specifically. But not the rest of it, dammit!

Liz Shannon Miller @lizlet
At quite honestly ITS MOST INTERESTING MOMENT AS A SHOW. (Also jesus christ I guess they’re never ever gonna show us Danny Karate fighting a dragon.) I need to think about this.

Liz Shannon Miller @lizlet
That said if LUKE CAGE just absorbs the best elements of IRON FIST into the show that sounds great. (My fav episode of LUKE Season 2 was the one where Danny swung by to hang. I still feel a bit odd about that.)

Tali @nerdy_chic_
Sadness. I was really looking forward to seeing where they were going with how the last season ended.
I hope someone else picks it up.

Karl Keogh  😈 @darkdetective87
Mildly disappointed by the cancellation of #IronFist. The second season was an improvement over the first but it was still the weakest Marvel Netflix series. Hopefully some of the characters and plot threads can make appearances in the other Marvel series.

Jason (Crown Clown) @EscaflowneClown
WELP. I see them putting the Iron Fist characters on other shows tbh. I think they would perfectly fit in with Luke Cage show. Turn it into Heroes for Hire / Daughters of the dragon.

I have been waiting for this moment since it was first announced on February 14th of this year that The CW would return to Sunday Nights. Last week, the network had aired primetime programming, with the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. But tonight is the Season Premiere of Supergirl at 8PM, followed by the Series Premiere of the newly rebooted Charmed, and may notice how excited I am about both shows airing tonight. Interesting enough, I binged watched the entirely of the original Charmed series which started back in 1998, and let you tell this, it was one the best best thing I have ever seen on the internet, and now I am ready for the new and fresh take on the Power of Three Witch Sisters who lives are about to be changed forever. But before then, #KlicKNet would like to give its viewers a Web Choice playlist of clips and trailers from The CW shows that premiered new episodes last week, including The Flash, Black Lightning, All American and Dynasty. There's even a special look at tonight premieres of Supergirl and Charmed, and they will certainly take your breath away.
