Today's UPDATES

Who's ready for Game 163, two of them to be exact? The 2018 MLB Regular Season is not over yet, a here's a quick Max Sports rundown to get you ready for some tiebreaking. Believe it or not, the Chicago Cubs are tied with the Milwaukee Brewers for National League Central Division and the Colorado Rockies are tied with the Los Angeles Dodgers for the National League West Division, and the way this all happened is without a doubt stunning. The Brewers blitzed the Tigers 11-0, Cubs beat the Cardinals 10-5, the Rockies destroyed the Nationals 12-0, and the Dodgers trounced the poor little Giants 15-0, so now all four teams will play today in two back-to-back division championship tiebreakers, with the Brewers and Cubs going at it first, followed by the Rockies and Dodgers. Keep in mind, the winner of Rocks and Dodge will be No. 2 Seed in the National League and play host to the Atlanta Braves in NL Division Series which starts on Thursday, as for the losing team of that game, they would have to travel on the road for the NL Wild Card Game which unfortunately is tomorrow night. But the big question is: Where will the NL Wild Card Game take place? It all depends on who loses between the Brewers and Cubs, for the winner will be the No. 1 Seed in the National League, and here's where it really get crazy, if either Cubs or Brewers lose today and then win the NL Wild Card, they would play each other again the NL Division Series on Thursday. That's beauty of October Baseball and for the next 31 Days, it's going to be a month that MLB fans will not forget, now here are the results from the final games of the regular season as well as a look at Week Four in the NFL.

Prepare yourself for a fun and delicious #TwitterTrend focusing on America's most famous Donut Shop, last week Dunkin' Donuts officially announced that it's going 'first-name basis' starting next year. This means that as of 2019, the word Donuts will no longer be apart of the fast-food company's logo, and even more so there has been talk on whether or not this mean that the stores will sell less donuts and ficus more on their coffee products. Well, to tell the truth, that's not really the case all, Dunkin' will still serve donuts but it was only because of them that donut is even a word in every dictionary out there, and the shortening of the name has received a couple of backlash in the past year. Brief History, the popularization of the word donut over doughnut started back in the 1950s when Dunkin' Donuts and Mister Donut, two chains founded by brothers-in-law were some of the first known to use of the term "donut" instead of the traditional "doughnut." The latter chain was later acquired by the parent company for Dunkin's Donuts beginning in 1990, since then, Mister Donut has a booming business in Asia with more than 10,000 locations worldwide. Merriam-Webster has credited Dunkin' Donuts for helping them popularize the spelling of donut, forcing the dictionary to add the word in its pages, but in 2019, it will be erased from the fast-food chain's ads, packages .and signage, and here's what people are saying about the moniker makeover.

Just call it Dunkin'. Starting in January, Dunkin' Donuts will drop the "Donuts" from ads, packages and signage at new and remodeled stores, as well as its social media accounts

Dunkin' @dunkindonuts
It’s official: We’re going by Dunkin’ now. 🤗 After 68 years of America running on Dunkin’, we're moving to a first-name basis. 🧡 Excited to be #BFFstatus with you all 👯☕️🍩 #firstnamebasis #besties

AP Business News @APBusiness
Dunkin' Donuts is renaming itself Dunkin' to reflect its growing emphasis on coffee.

Bill Kristol @BillKristol
You go to Dunkin' Donuts for the good doughnuts & the decent coffee. No one dunks his doughnut in his coffee. So of course the firm will now ridiculously call itself "Dunkin." And the alternative is the grotesquely misspelled "Krispy Kreme." All is lost.

Britt Rivera @kindamoviesnob
As a person who almost exclusively refers to it as Dunkin' this works for me 🧡☕️

Elizabeth McCracken @elizmccracken
I'm from New England & I don't think they should be able to do this without putting it on the ballot.

Mara @LilBigTrouble
This feels like IHOB all over again

Dominic Holden @dominicholden
is the dunkin’ in dunkin’ donuts a transitive verb? by removing the donuts, are they becoming an intransitive company?

Jessica Mahone @drjmahone
I've always understood "Dunkin'" to be an adjective, fwiw.

Guy Adami @GuyAdami
What is it exactly that one is Dunkin’, if not a Donut?

alexis nedd @alexisthenedd
Please, Mr. Donuts is my father. Call me Dunkin'.

Bertha Coombs @berthacoombs
Like the Cher or Beyoncé of donuts... $DNKN

Ian Bogost @ibogost
Dunkin' takes no object, all things are now always already dunked.

What do you think about this name change?!
