Today's UPDATES
We've got another new development in the MLB Playoff Picture as we are now in the very last week of the season, so let's dive into it with today's Max Sports rundown. After Sunday's games, a lot of teams were in eliminated from playoff contention either because they lost that day and/or the teams they were catching up with in the standings won. Last night's games saw the Playoff Picture clear up some more with another team thrown out of it, and that team would be the Tampa Bay Rays who were chasing the second AL Wild Card spot with the Oakland Athletics, but the Rays lost 4-1 to the New York Yankees. This would allowing the A's to clinch that second spot in the AL Wild Card, and now it's becomes a question as to who will have home field advantage between them and the Yankees in the AL Wild Card Game, the A's however are very much alive in chasing the Houston Astros in the AL West Division, but not for long. The Astros are in Toronto tonight facing the Blue Jays and if they win again and the A's lose to the Seattle Mariners, the Astors are AL West Champs for a second consecutive year. Things are a complete mess in the NL Standings and I can't really figure any of it out, that's because we could get a 4-team tie between the Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, LA Dodgers, and Colorado Rockies. All of these teams could tie at either, 90, 91, or 92 wins at the end of the season, and if that happens, here;s what would come next: on Monday, October 1st there would be a tiebreaker for the NL West Division title between the Rockies and Dodgers and another tiebreaker between the Cardinals and Brewers for one of the two NL Wild Card Spot. Then on the next day, Tuesday, October 2nd will be another tiebreaker between the losers of those two games in order to see who gets the second NL Wild Card spot, so we could see one team lose twice in two days even when the regular season is already over and they've lost the chance to go to the Postseason. We'll keep a close eye on all of these teams as the season comes to an end, but do take a look at last night's and tonight's games to see if they have any chance at this point.

Day 3 of "Last Week was Marvelous Week," a week-long #TwitterTrend special edition, is going to be a real gender moment. Last week, Deadline.com revealed that ABC was planning on doing another Marvel television series on its broadcast network, the showrunner for this new series would be Allan Heinberg who worked on ABC's The Catch and as the writer for the blockbuster hit Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot. The very best thing about this is that the series would focused on female Marvel superheroes, of course they have not yet announced what female characters from the Marvel Comics would be in it or who will be playing them. With Agents of SHIELD, sixth season not appearing until the summer of next year, ABC viewers going to be without a scrap of Marvel TV this 2018-19 TV season, but on the bright side, Netflix has recently announced that Marvel's Daredevil will premiere its third season on October 19th and Netflix is planning a big month next month in October. But moving back to the news regarding ABC and this newly developed Marvel series, its going to be a very long time util we learn any new updates on this series and whether or not ABC will pick it up, maybe even next year. Until then, prepare yourself #KlicKNet viewers for the following tweets that have the best reaction to tis Marvel news that has everyone talking.

It was just announced
that #Marvel is working on a new show about a team of lesser known female
superheroes. Who could be on that show that isn't already tied to some other
project? Spider-Woman? Kate Bishop? America Chavez?

Gonna take a guess and
