Today's UPDATES

This Friday is the Season Premiere of The InZane Club, and I cannot wait for the viewers of #KlicKNet to see how it all plays out through the course of the final season, I've always thought about doing another season next year, but I just don't know where I will be during that time. I can't even say what I'm going to be doing next year until I know for sure that it's confirmed, of course everything's all but confirmed with the Boston Red Sox winning the American League East Division title. In Max Sports' continuing coverage of the the MLB Postseason Race, the Red Sox have somewhat of an opportunity to clinch the AL East Division this week and in none other than Yankee Stadium, but the New York Yankees did not allow that to happen last night, and while they lost their chance at winning the division, the Yanks can still play spoiler and put the  Red Sox's Division Championship celebration on hold for a little while longer. In last night's game between the two rival teams, the Red Sox had been leading 1-0 since the third inning after J.D. Martinez hit a sacrifice fly to right field to bring in Ian Kinsler from third base to home plate. But in the seventh inning, the Yankees' Neil Walker hit a three run home run with Aaron Hicks and Gary Sanchez, allowing the Yankees to take the lead 3-1. The Red Sox had one last chance in the ninth inning and they were able to get within a run after Sam Travis picked up a hit to allow Brock Holt to score from third base, but the Yankees won the game 3-2 thanks to a game-winning double play. Boston will get another chance to clinch the division tonight and tomorrow as their series with the Yankees continue, but before then see how far other teams have come to make it into a berth for the postseason next month.

Everyone is talking about the first trailer for Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel which was released yesterday morning. There was so many stuff in this trailer that they have all merged together into on big #TwitterTrend today. The spanky new poster says it all: Higher. Further. Faster. After what Marvel fans say, you can tell that they are more than excited to see this next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and they are already counting down the days until its March 8, 2019 release. The opening scene of the new Captain Marvel trailer shows Carol Danvers, played Brie Larson, crashing through the roof of a Blockbuster video store, which gives the vibe that this new film is set up the during 90s when Blockbuster was very popular. There's a scene where Carol punches an old lady in the face when all that old lady did was smile at her, you could make the possibility that she's really a Skrull in disguise,as the shape-shifting alien species will be featured in the film . I don't if anyone notices but there's a cat in the background of the poster, and apparently that is Captain Marvel's pet cat Chewie, looks like Marvel Studios is pulling out all the stops when it comes to easter eggs. My favorite part about the trailer is that it features Captain Marvel's signature helmet that she wears offended times, I completely fell in love with the helmet the moment I first learned about Captain Marvel way back when. Last but not least, there's the younger versions of Nick Fury and Phil Coulson, played by Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg respectively, the latter of course has been in another Marvel movie since The Avengers in 2012, and then he went to be the lead role in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC, so to see Coulson return to action in the MCU films is my second favorite part about the trailer. I bet Marvel fans cannot wait to see hoe Nick Fury lost one of his eyes before becoming Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., but until then they will have to settle for the tweets that I've found which highlight all of the moments that I just talked about.

Yesterday evening, Variety reported some really big news on Marvel Studios and Disney's upcoming streaming service which is going to be released next year in late 2019. The Disney Company is in early development on making limited TV series that would center on characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as the Scarlet Witch and Loki. This could even included other beloved Marvel superheroes from the comics who have yet to appear in their own standalone movies and/or may not get to sometime in the future, although Marvel and Disney have shared no comment about any of this, but if you ask me, I say it's the perfect way for Disney to rival with other streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon. According to Variety: "There’s an important distinction from other Marvel small screen efforts, however. The actors who portrayed these heroes and villains in the Avengers films and their spin-offs, such as Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen, are expected to play them in the streaming shows." This is because limited series are to be produced by only Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige is expected to take a hands-on role in their development, shows such as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and others on Netflix, Freeform and Hulu will remain under Marvel's Television Studio banner. Variety also said that "the Avengers that have gotten their own movies like Iron Man and Captain America will not be featured in the series with the studios focusing on characters who have served as second tier characters in the MCU." One final note is that the limited series will cost just as much as it does for the new Star Wars series coming to the Disney Streaming Service which was previously reported to cost $100 million to even to be lifted off of development. The following Web Choice playlist shows the reaction that has been going around on YouTube about this ambitious plan Disney has come up with in order to compete with Netflix in general.
