Today's UPDATES

The Boston Red Sox are the first MLB team to clinched the very first spot in the 2018 MLB Postseason next month in October. Here's a Max Sports rundown on how they got their, now Red Sox second basemen Brock Holt put it out best when he made this statement after the Red Sox's game with the Toronto Blue Jays: "Any time you make the playoffs and give yourself a chance to be that last team, it's a pretty special thing, we're excited by that, but we've got more work to do." Holt is the very reason why the Red Sox won last night by pinch hitting in the seventh inning and hitting a go-ahead, three-run home run as part of a 7-2 win over the Blue Jays. Boston is guaranteed no worse than a wild card berth, but they are very likely to clinch the entire American League East Division title, they lead in that division by nine games with a record of 99-46, and with two and a half weeks left in the season, there's no more time for the New York Yankees. with the second best record in the majors 90-55, to catch up with their arch rivals, especially since they lost to the Minnesota Twins last night 10-5. While the Yankees are busy focusing on the American League Wild Card, the Red Sox can be proud of the fact this is the third straight year that they will make the postseason, previous Red Sox teams have made the postseason three times from 2003-2005 and again from 2007-2009, so so that's twice in one decade that Boston was apart of October baseball in the span of three years. As we wait to see who the next team to clinch the postseason will be, see what else went down last night in MLB action and a look ahead at today and tomorrow.

Last Monday on WWE Raw, it was announced that Hardcore Legend Mick Foley will be the special guest referee for the Hell in a Cell match between Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Money in the Bank winner. It's going to real interesting to see what kind a part Mick Foley will play in this hellish match, because again, he was involved with the Hell in a Cell match from 20 Years Ago with The Undertaker. It was a match that would change the history of wrestling forever and give new life and attitude into the WWE, but it's 2018 now and things have indeed changed, so how can Mick Foley spark up that same magic he had from two decades ago into this newest matchup inside the evil structure? Well, today's #TwitterTrend features people's reactions to this piece of news and with four days left before this Sunday's pay-per-view at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Never forget when Taker threw Mick Foley off the Hell In A Cell 🔥 #Raw
Dexter @WhatsNxt4Dex

Mick Foley returning to “Hell In A Cell” is brave. No way I could return to that structure in any capacity after the long term body damage it did. #RAW #HIAC

So, what we learned...

Mick Foley can still cut a hell of a promo, better than any active WWE #Raw Superstar

Nobody cares for Reigns vs Strowman, so they are piggy backing off the ONE MATCH that the #HIAC is synonymous with, with the one dude you think of every year you see it?

Mick Foley @RealMickFoley
I am so thankful for so much support, for so many years.

Blue Albatross @bluealbatross
Mick Foley always show up when it's like a week away from Hell in a Cell didn't he? It's like an annual thing

yung terracotta @TeeHaitchGee
i really hoped i’d never have to hear or see the words “mick foley” and “hell in a cell” in the same sentence ever again but boy was I wrong and naïve

Tim Fiorvanti @tim00
It was good to see Mick Foley moving around as well as he was coming down that ramp. That Hell in a Cell match is going to require a heck of a lot of physicality, but this is an interesting wrinkle to the story.

Mick Foley @RealMickFoley
Hey it’s good to be back home again - sometimes @WWE feels like a long lost friend!
See you Sunday at #HellInACell
