#fakeTV FRiDAY

The 2018 NFL Season has begun, last night seemed be a repeat from last January's Divisional Round playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons, the former team of course went to become Super Bowl Champions. This new Max Sports rundown explains how the next chapter of the Battle of the Birds went down during the NFL Kickoff game, Jay Ajayi had a pair of touchdown runs, Nick Foles caught another pass outta nowhere, but despite the rest of the sputtering offense from the defending champs, it was their fantastic defense that kept them alive. It turned out to be a real sloppy, mistake-filled game and featured 26 penalties, but fast forwarding to the last seconds of the fourth quarter, it all came down to whether or not Falcons QB Matt Ryan could throw a complete pass to Huilo Jones in the left corner of the end zone on the final play from the Eagles' 5-yard line. Jones couldn't come down with Ryan's pass from the 2 in the right corner of the end zone in the Falcons' 15-10 loss in the divisional round last January, and sure enough, he failed to make the perfect catch again. Cornerback Ronald Darby had been covering Jones on the last play instead of Jalen Mills, and he put it best by saying "It was deja vu, Jones is one of the best but we got the stop." Before the game, a weather delay pushed kickoff back 45 minutes, forcing fans to wait for the unveiling of the "world champions" banner a very long time, the defense were able feed off the energy of the crowd with a strong goal-line stand on the opening series, stopping the Falcons three times at the 1. But that's not all, Eagles coach Doug Pederson decided to repeat the "Philly Special" play that helped the Eagles beat the New England Patriots 41-33 in the Super Bowl, and this time, Foles caught a 15-yard pass from Nelson Agholor to extend a drive which ended with Ajayi scoring a go-ahead 1-yard TD run in the third quarter. In the end, Eagles won the NFL Season Opener in a 18-12 victory, and while they still need to work on their struggling offense, it is without question that their defense will have to do the heavy lifting for the time being this season. Check out what NFL games are on the way this Sunday and Monday, plus the first matches of the 2018 WWE Mae Young Classic are in the books, and there's plenty of MLB results to go around.

Last Wednesday, Entertainment Weekly finally released its "internet breaking" cover which features the first official look at Brie Larson as Captain Marvel. Larson will soon star in latest Marvel Cinematic Universe film, based on this powerful superhero on March 8th, 2019, but if the new cover wasn't enough, Entertainment Weekly was able to share ten exclusive photos from the movie. From Carol Danvers in her iconic red and blue suit, to Carol Danvers dressing up like it's the '90s, there's also Samuel L. Jackson as Young Two-Eyed Nick Fury, the arrival of the Skrulls and members the of Starforce, Jude Law as Mar-Vell, and Lee Pace returning as Ronan the Accuser. It's just goes to show how much hard work Marvel Studios has put into this movie, and I touched on this two days ago, this movie will be just as phenomenal as Black Panther and for one good reason. Black Panther came out last February during Black History Month, so Captain Marvel, the first female-led superhero film produced by Marvel Studios, will open in theaters during Women's History Month, so this Cap is gonna be a cultural phenomenon come March 8th. The first official look at Captain Marvel is indeed "internet breaking" and now it has become today's #TwitterTrend for all the readers and viewers of #KlicKNet everywhere.

Meghan O’Keefe @megsokay
Looking forward to being the idiot who spends too much money on a wicking weather-tech version of the Captain Marvel costume for running.

Meghan O’Keefe @megsokay
To wit: it's very cool to see a female superhero in a costume I can tell is actually comfortable to be active in.

KJ @KJonair
Me: Yay!!!!! There's #CaptainMarvel!

Me 10 seconds later: THIS IS NOT THE SEPTEMBER TRAILER YOU PROMISED!!! Come on @Marvel!

B.J. Mendelson @BJMendelson
I hate the Skrulls. I hate "Secret Invasion" and the "Guess who is and isn't a Skrull, LOL" storytelling Secret Invasion gave us, but man, I am really excited for the Captain Marvel movie regardless.

Stu was right, Labor Day was the next holiday! @ssomers55 ·
Please God give me Secret Invasion....

B.J. Mendelson @BJMendelson
That's what the synopsis of the Captain Marvel movie sounds like. And you know what? If we've seen anything from the MCU over the past ten years, it's that their version of 2000s Marvel comics are way better. So, I'm cautiously optimistic.

Roger @ZenBuddhist
Skrulls represent the worst of lazy, tropey, red herring writing at Marvel, in my opinion.

B.J. Mendelson @BJMendelson
I completely agree. I understand the Skrulls power from a storytelling point of view, they allow for a story to be "reset" without having to reset the entire universe, but they got overused to the point where I never want to see them again

Stu was right, Labor Day was the next holiday! @ssomers55
As big as the reveal at the end of Iron Man was for the Avengers for the first 10 years, I think some one appearing as a Skrull at the end of Avengers 4 would set us up for the next 10 years

B.J. Mendelson @BJMendelson
They have a good chance to pop the Skrulls into the current Marvel movie timeline once everyone comes back from Thanos erasing them.

Torri Yates-Orr @TorriYatesOrr
.@brielarson is perfection.
Monica Rambeau exists in the MCU.

#CaptainMarvel needs to open NOW.

September 1st, 2018. Seven-O-One PM.

Production on the third and final season of #TheInZaneClub has now wrapped up! Season will premiere on September 21st on #KlicKNet. #fakeTV 🎬

This is for real, I finally finished the entire third and last season of The InZane Club last week. Which means on September 21st, #fakeTV will be back to its full potential by giving dishing type-written episodes which detail how the season is gonna go for Kyrie and the Club. It's going to be sad for me once the season and the entire series is over because there's has been uncertainty as to what the future holds for #KlicKNet next year in 2019. But we're still living in 2018 so there will be plenty of time for that, and before the weekend starts, there's enough time for a Top Ten of the Week and Celebrity of the Day who has lived long enough to be a Legend.
