#fakeTV FRiDAY

It's been a rough couple of hours for the New York Mets organization, and this will be a quick Max Sports rundown that will let you in the what's happening. Third Baseman David Wright has not played an official game in a Mets uniform since May 2016. The injuries, surgeries, and rehab that he has gone through in his 14-year career have been piling up and in press conference yesterday afternoon, he and many doctors have come to conclusion that his body cannot not take it anymore. So on September 25th, David Wright will be active for the Mets' homestand of the season and will start on third base on September 29th, when you hear things like this you can only assume that this Wright is likely retire at the end of the season. I am most stunned by this, for I have a blue and orange Mets shirt with Wright's last name and #5 on the back and I wore it this week not knowing what was going on with him, but the seven-time All-Star player has realized that it's time to call in quits. The entire Mets fan base will have to come to terms with seeing David Wright on the Mets homefield one last time, but it's very uncertain to how this will affect the Mets team moving forward to next season and in into the future, for now all I will say to close this piece out is this: "Good Luck Wright and Thank You for the Memories and for carrying the Mets on your back for the 14 Years."

Wednesday was one of those days when breaking news broke at the last minute or maybe when you are almost finished with the day's post. Believe me, I did not respond to this breaking story very well, as soon as I was finished with the Wednesday post, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Henry Cavill would not reprise the role of Superman in the DC Film Universe produced by Warner Bros. Pictures. It's a #TwitterTrend that we need to get into to the fullest right now, Henry Cavill decided to part ways with Warner Bros. after having played Superman in three DC films, including Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League. Now the way Warner Bros. has used Cavill's Superman has been nothing sort of a roller coaster of mixed emotions and could be the reason why he won't appear in any future DC films. But on the other hand, Deadline.com reported the WB "has been mulling a completely different direction with its Superman canon for some time, even considering casting Michael B. Jordan in the role down the road." But the top priority for the WB at the moment has shifted over to the new Supergirl film in development and its script is being penned by writer Oren Uziel. A Warner Bros. spokesperson had this to say: “We have a great relationship and great respect for Henry Cavill that continues to remain unchanged. Additionally we have made no current decisions regarding any upcoming Superman films” Cavill was even set to make a cameo in New Line’s Shazam! starring Zachery Levi but could not make it due to scheduling conflicts on Mission: Impossible – Fallout, of course the DC Extended Universe has been having a lot of issues with its top actors, such as Ben Affleck who is rumored at the moment will not be moving forward as Batman in Matt Reeves’ reboot. The reaction to all of this has been just as you would think, bad to the bone, take a look at the Tweeters have said about the departure of Cavill and the uncertain future of DC Films.

THIS JUST IN: Henry Cavill no longer playing Superman for WB and DC. No cameo in Shazam, either. Wow.

I'm sad for Henry Cavill.

He was an amazing Superman brought into a mess of a universe where he was never given an opportunity to thrive or truly define his role.

At least he'll land more awesome roles in the future. #MustacheForever
Brandon Davis @BrandonDavisBD
Henry Cavill isn't Superman anymore.

It's not even 9 am but today is over.
Tony Madness @MrMadness
I guess it's time for DC to just go full throttle with all of the bizarre characters in the universe. Looks like we can finally get that big-budget Matter Eater Lad film that fans have been clamoring for.

Joe Fricke @Fricktator
Since DC should hit the reset button on their film universe, here's my dream Justice League cast

Superman- Joe Manganiello

Batman- Jon Hamm

Wonder Woman- Paula Patton

Green Lantern- Trevante Rhodes

Cyborg- Caleb McLaughlin

Aquaman- Iko Uwais

Flash- Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Here's a thought for the DC film universe: Stop trying to make it a freakin' universe. Focus on making good films that work in themselves.

The DC Extended Universe, or, Crisis on Infinite Films

Dennis Detwiller @drgonzo123
And there it is, just like I said — the Witcher role indicates a BIG shift in WB's DC "strategy" (if you're feeling kind). WB is abandoning the DC extended universe altogether, officially. Henry Cavill is out as Superman.

Mikey Piff @MikeyPiff
This sucks. While I wasn’t necessarily happy with the DC movies I thought they had the right actors. Henry Cavill was #Superman. Am I the only one?

Next Week, the season premiere of The InZane Club will have you at "What the.........?" #fakeTV was hard at work this summer to put together the third and final season of this variety sketch series and it's only fair to give the viewers of #KlicKNet one exclusive details about what the new season is gonna go. I realized that I needed new sketches knowing that I have used the old ones that I came up with two years ago for the past two seasons, so I have come up with a way to show new sketches every week in every episode. As you remember this is supposed to be styled off as weekly series on Netflix for I had to forgo the whole all episodes released at once" and "binge watching" formats because it's seemed too complicated to do on this or any blog on the internet. Speaking of the internet, there has been some news out there that's been good, bad, and a bit of both, so it's time now to relive them ten of them in this week's Top Ten list on #KlicKNet.
