Today's UPDATES

What happened to the Yankees last night, that is the current question that we are going to answer right now in today's Max Sports rundown. The Boston Red Sox now find themselves in firm control of the American League East Division after sweeping the New York Yankees four games straight this past weekend. It looked like the Bronx Bombers were finally going to win a game over the Sox last night, center fielder Mookie Betts hit a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth inning, giving the Red Sox a 1-0 lead. Until, the Yankees were able to scored four runs in the seventh inning, for they had the bases loaded with Brett Gardner on third, Austin Romine on second, and Shane Robinson on first, then Aaron Hicks grounded into fielder's choice to shortstop allowing Gardner and Romine.to run on home. Giancarlo Stanton singled to left field, allowing Robinson to score, and Hicks scored after a sacrifice fly to center by Gleyber Torres, by then it really seemed like the Yankees were going to win this game. But in the bottom of the ninth inning, everything changed because the Red Sox were in rally mode time, they too had the bases loaded but were down to their very last out in the ninth, Steve Pearce was on first, Mookie Betts was on second, and Sandy León on third. J.D. Martinez singled to center, allowing León and Betts to scored, then Jackie Bradley, Jr. replaced Pearce on second and scored all the way after Xander Bogaerts was called safe to first on a throwing error by Yankees third baseman Miguel Andujar. Just like that, the game was tied at 4 and heading into the 10th inning, that was were Sandy León singled to center, went to second on a wild pitch and scored the winning run for the Red Sox thanks to a single by Andrew Benintendi. That would close out a 5-4 victory for the Red Sox who have been playing the best baseball all season long, but this will leave the Yankees no other choice but to compete for the AL Wild Card spots up for grabs, readers of #KlicKNet can also see what else transpired yesterday in MLB Baseball.

In this #TwitterTrend exclusive, we can finally report on what Demi has to say about her near-death experience and how it has changed her for the best, she states that she is taking some time out to "heal and focus on her sobriety and road to recovery," but would like thank all of her fans for all of their support. The best part about this statement is that it ends with the following sentence "I will keep fighting" and those are the perfect words to close out 'cause it will allow Demi's fans to Keep Fighting with their own personal issues in life. If there's anything we are taught in life is that "life must not be taken for granted" because one day it will be us in a hospital bed wondering how long do we have left before it's all over. So, here a bunch of tweets that include the full statement that Demi Lovato made and what fans and celebrities about her inspiring words of happiness.

With the 2018 Edition of WWE SummerSlam just two weeks away, the best to know what this pay-per-view has meant to the WWE since it first stared back in 1988. The event has always been dubbed as "the biggest event of the summer," and since it always airs during the month of August, some would see it as the perfect way to end the summer season. Over the past 30 years, this PPV has seen its share of memorable moments, just as there has been great moments at WrestleMania, the Royal Rumble and Survivor Series. One not-so- interesting fact about this year's SummerSlam is that Brock Lesnar will be in the main event fir the fifth straight year in a row, he face John Cena for the WWE Championship in 2014, The Undertaker in 2015, Randy Orton in 2016, and just last year in 2017, Brock Lesnar took on three men (Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, and Braun Strowman) in a Fatal Four-Way match for the Universal Championship. Lesnar was able to retain the title last year at SummerSlam and went on to hold on to it for now 489 days, which means that he is eleven days away from holding it for about 500 days. One of the competitors from the Fatal 4-Way, Roman Reigns has earned the chance to conquer The Beast once and for all 'cause with the Universal Championship on the line in two weeks, this very well could be Roman Reigns' last chance to win the title that has eluded him for a long time. But before the fun begins, here's a new Web Choice playlist that looks back at past SummerSlam moments, including last year with the Fatal 4-Way match.
