Today's UPDATES

The summer is winding down and soon the 2018 NFL season will kick off on September 6th, when the defending Super Bowl Champions Philadelphia Eagles take on the runner-ups of Super Bowl LI, the Atlanta Falcons. This will be a rematch from January 13th on this year when these two battled in Philly in a Divisional Playoff Game ago, other primetime matches in Week 1 of the Season are the Chicago Bears vs the Green Bay Packers on September 9th during NBC Sunday Night Football, then the night after on September 10th is an ESPN Monday Night Football doubleheader with the New York Jets taking on the Detroit Lions, then the Los Angeles Rams visit the Oakland Raiders who could be playing their final season in Oakland ever. Of course the situation with the Raiders is a little complicated as anyone would realize, and here's a quick Max Sports rundown to explain it all; after the Rams and Chargers agree to move to Los Angeles and share a brand new stadium in Inglewood together, the Raiders were left out of the discussion to move their themselves. This was because on January 12, 2016, when the NFL rejected the Raiders and Chargers' relocation request to move back to the LA market and play in an new stadium in Carson, California, for the league chose to let the Rams move to LA and construct the upcoming stadium and entertainment district in Inglewood, California. The League gave the Raiders the possibility of relocate to Los Angeles by 2020 and play in the new stadium that housed by the Rams, but the Chargers were given that option first, meaning that the Raiders would have to wait a long time to see if the Chargers did not exercise their option by January 2017, which unfortantely they did. So on January 19, 2017, the Raiders officially filed paperwork to relocate from Oakland to Las Vegas, and two months later, the NFL officially approved the move in a 31–1 vote, ensuring the Raiders a new stadium in the process. But this brings us to last year's season and this one's because the Raiders have continue to play in Oakland and await the future holds for next year in 2019 , for the new Las Vegas stadium won't completed by 2020 and the chances of them playing one last season in Oakland next year a little slim to none. For in order to secure another season in the Oakland Coliseum, management has indicated that the Raiders would need to offer major concessions to compensate for the financial losses the Coliseum incurs by hosting Raiders games. Hopefully, if the Raiders have good of a season this year, they can make the money to play a farewell season at the Coliseum in 2019. In the meantime, see what a good weekend most MLB teams are having with these following results.

Moving on to another update on the upcoming DCTV Crossover Event that is set to premiere in December on The CW, this has become a #TwitterTrend that is 100% epic. Tyler Hoechlin who plays Superman in the CW series Supergirl is set to reprise his role in the Crossover between the Girl of Steel, The Flash, Arrow, and a new addition to the Arrowverse, Batwoman. The female caped crusader is set to portrayed by Ruby Rose, but there's another female DC Character on the way, and that would LOIS LANE. Superman's damsel-in-distress is coming to join all of these heroes in what has to be the Best Arrowverse Crossover in the past five years; it's unknown as to who will play Lois, but there's a lot of time for that discussion later. For now all we can do is we what the Twitterverse is saying about this breaking story because you realize that this means we can finally see The Flash and Arrow team up with Superman, heck, we might even see the Scarlet Speedster vs the Man of Steel in a race-of-a-lifetime.

Lois Lane is coming to Supergirl? Wow.  I'm a little concerned but I am in.

Casper 🌷 @lenaIuthorr
So if Superman and Lois Lane are in the crossover too does that mean everyone is coming to Supergirl's earth? Or is it gonna be a family field trip through the multiverse to the Flash's earth again?

Finally today, the great Senator of Arizona, John McCain passed away yesterday at the age of 81 due to brain cancer. It was just last Friday that McCain's family announced that he would no longer receive treatment for his cancer, the Great Senator was at his home in Cornville, Arizona as his wife and family were beside him before his death. Tributes have been widely given at the moment on social media, including from Congressional colleagues, former Presidents, and the current Command-in-Chief and Vice President My idea to honor my might no be a good one since the only thing I remember of John McCain is when he lost to Barack Obama in 2008 Presidential Election, a moment that would change America as we know it. So all I can up with is putting together a Web Choice playlist containing many moments of John McCain on The Daily Show and other late-night shows which have had a fill of making fun of and/or interviewing the Arizona Senator including, McCain's greatest late-night foe, Jon Stewart.
