NFL regular season for 2018 inches closer and closer to Kickoff as preseason action is still going on as we speak. There two preseason games that were played last Monday and last night, one of them makes sense to me, but the other one doesn't, and it's going to take a very very long Max Sports rundown to explain these games thoroughly. It was the Baltimore Ravens vs the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football four nights ago, and it was supposed to be a homecoming for Andrew Luck who finally returned to playing football with the Colts. However, Joe Flacco and the Ravens had other plans as their defense who keep the Colts at bay for a while, Luck missed his first three throws, with the third winding up in the hands of Ravens safety Anthony Levine Jr. Luck had finished with 6 of 13 for 50 yards and helped set up a 57-yard field before leaving the game in the second quarter, meanwhile, Flacco went 7 of 9 for 72 yards and one touchdown, and the Ravens' secondary quarterback Lamar Jackson was 7 of 15 for 49 yards and a TD and carried four times for 26 yards. In the final minutes of the fourth quarter, Colts QB Phillip Walker threw a 9-yard TD pass to Zach Pascal with 2:24 left, but the Ravens were able to stop Walker from completing a 2-point conversion, recovered the onside kick and ran out the clock to cap off a 20-19 win. The thing that makes this game a lot of sense to me is because it was won by one-point, but last night was a much more different story in a game between the defending Super Bowl Champions Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns. Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles was picked off twice in two interceptions that would cost the Eagles dearly last night, its offense was still struggle and with one of its star quarterback Carson Wentz still waiting to return, this begs the question if the Eagles will have any shot at making it back to the Super Bowl. The Browns, on the other hand, showed good defense last night but couldn't capitalize on any touchdowns, but they still won by having defensive end Myles Garrett sack Foles in the end zone for the game's first two points, then in the second quarter, kicker Zane Gonzalez completed a 54-yard field goal, giving the Browns a 5-0 lead which resulted in them winning the entire game. Now this game does not make any sense to me because I've never heard of a Super Bowl-winning team losing by five points, but it's safe to say this all just preseason and the Eagles will hopefully have Wentz back for the regular season, coming up next is a look at MLB games from last Wednesday and the games that are heading into this weekend.

Last Wednesday, I found two sets of breaking news on twitter and I could not fit both of them into last Wednesday's #TwitterTrend. So I decided to save one of them for today, and here it is: According to Entertainment Weekly this week, a Veronica Mars revival is reportedly in the works at Hulu. The attempted revival could signal the reuniting of Kristen Bell, the main star of the original series, and show creator Rob Thomas who worked on the mystery series which initially ran for three seasons. The show aired on UPN for its first two seasons on UPN from 2004 to 2006 before moving over to The CW and ending in 2007, but with online streaming shows these days, it looks like Veronica Mars could be making a longer run on Hulu. Kirsten Bell once reprise the role of Mars when the character was revived in a 2014 feature film through a Kickstarter-funding, whatever the heck that is, but it's safe to say for now that this will not affect Bell's role on NBC's The Good Place, which is set for season premiere next month, nor her upcoming role in Disney's Frozen 2. Many fans of Veronica Mars have spoke their minds on this subject and here are their best reaction to this newly developed revived series.
