Today's Updates: San Diego Comic Con Edition

Today's UPDATES
San Diego Comic Con Edition

not it's time I had a great week last week, going to Dorney Park, kicking back and relax, but now it's time to get back to work with #KlicKNet. I was about to upload new updates last week on my facebook page, so go check that out, as we get back to the same old posts that you would prefer everyday of the week. The 2018 MLB All-Star Game had one of the most wild endings ever, having gone to a tenth inning, the American League were clinging on to a 5-3 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth, and something amazing happened. Second baseman Scooter Gennett of the Cincinnati Reds scored a two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth, sending the game into extra innings, however, the American League only needed one to defeat the National League. Ross Stripling of the Los Angeles Dodgers was pitching for the National League in the tenth inning and gave up two back-to-back home runs hit by Alex Bregman and George Springer of the defending World Series Champions Houston Astros, and the American League got another run, allowing them to lead 8-5. Then in the bottom of the tenth, Joey Votto of the Reds scored a home run for the National League, but that was all that they getting as the American League would 8-6 in 10 Innings. Listen to this fact, the game broke a home run record, as ten home runs were hit in this game and the previous record was six home runs, but also keep in mind that this is the sixth straight year the AL has beaten the NL and will gain home-field advantage in the 2018 World Series. As we try to shake out the cobwebs from last week's All-Star Game, here's a Max Sports update on this weekend's MLB games and more sports related events.

So many great moments happened during the third day of San Diego Comic-Con 2018 yesterday, and given the fact that it was not dominate by a string of news from Marvel, you can bet that other studios made the most out of a day surprises. Warner Bros, DC Comics and The CW took to the stage at Comic-Con and gave us some juicy new stories about certain projects, movies and TV Shows, there were the new trailers for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Shazam and Aquaman, as well as Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. We also had surprise appearances from Johnny Depp who would come out as his character from the Fantastic Beasts sequel, Grindelwald, and Ezra Miller appeared dressed up as Toadette from the Super Mario video games. The cast and crew of Wonder Woman 1984 were able to share some never before seen new footage and information about the upcoming DC film, though I think the most interesting news to come out of Comic-Con came from one of my favorite CW Shows. The cast and crew of Supergirl revealed that the show's fourth season this fall will feature the first-ever transgender superhero on television, for transgender activist and actor Nicole Maines will play Nia Nal aka Dreamer. We'll have more Comic-Con news later, but right now I have some random tweets from twitter that make a Comic-Con style #TwitterTrend that is sure to make everyone excited on what is to come for Warner Bros, DC and The CW.

The 2014 Godzilla reboot was super underrated. Now the sequel gives us another stacked ensemble cast plus King Ghidorah, Mothra and Rodan. Hyped for this.

Speaking if The CW, the Broadcast Television Network was able to show off most of its new series and new seasons of fans' favorite shows at San Diego Comic-Con yesterday. Shows such as Arrow, Black Lightning, Supergirl, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, the rebooted Roswell, and The Originals spin-off Legacies really lid up the convention in every way possible. Honestly, I think that they are all great, and having binge watching entire series of both the Original Roswell and Charmed, I am well prepared to watching the reboots of those hit classics once the Fall TV Season begins. Last year, I watched the first four seasons of The Originals to get me ready for the current final season and for the new spin-off, which is from my understanding will be like "Harry Potter meeting Buffy the Vampire Slayer" according to TV Creator Julie Plec. As for the DC Shows on The CW, nothing has really changed for Oliver Queen, he is still in prison, and there hasn't even one act of vigilantism in Star City since his arrest, but there could be a new Green Arrow in town that could change all that. The Legends seem to have cooled after defeating a giant flying demon with a giant blue cuddly toy, but soon they have to deal some more evil magic and demons who have escaped. Barry Allen and his wife Iris West-Allen are starting to get to know their future daughter Nora who was given the nickname XS by parents, but at the end of The Flash Season 4 finale, she said that she made a mistake that has left her stranded in the present and could have major consequences for the new season. Supergirl will have her work cut out for her too in the form of new villains called Manchester Black and Agent Liberty and could also get a new suit as promised by the producers of the show, but we'll just have to wait and see what happens when the new season begins. Today I have a massive Web Choice playlist of all the The CW trailers that were released yesterday and amazed the whole audience.
