Today's UPDATES

A lot can happen over the weekend, for instant, I just found that I'm going to Dorney Park. That's right, the 3-Day trip for me to go to Dorney Park in Pennsylvania with my sister and a couple of other friends has been made official and come a week from Monday, I'll be having one of the best times of my life this Summer. Now this does mean that I will have to take a week off from #KlicKNet next week, but just as I did a few weeks back, I will be bring certain news topics on Facebook so the readers of #KlicKNet will have something to look forward while I'm gone. I will likely come back on Sunday, July 22, and that will be when the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con will come to an end, though will be presenting full-on coverage of the entire event discuss some of the bets moments and surprises. Moving on to our a short but quick Max Sports recap of the FIFA World Cup, the four teams for the Semifinals have now been set, France defeated Uruguay 2-0 last Friday and will take on Belgium who defeated Brazil, and England beat Sweden 2-0 yesterday and now have a date in the semifinals with Croatia who knocked out the host country of the World Cup, Russia in a game that ended in 2-2 tie and was won in 4-3 penalty shootout victory by Croatia. The World Cup Semifinals will start on Tuesday and since all four teams are from Europe, it seems that another European will win the World Cup by next Sunday.

Today I'm going to see Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and The Wasp in theaters with my Sister and a friend of hers, but in today's #TwitterTrend, we are going to talk about the life of fellow Marvel Comics Legend Steve Ditko. Ditko was one of founding fathers of the Marvel Comics along with Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, we was the creator of Doctor Strange and co-creator of Spider-Man, and this kinda weird for so many reasons. The main one for me is that seeing Tom Holland's Spider-Man meet Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange meet for the first time in Avengers: Infinity War would not be possible if it wasn't for Steve Ditko. Some have considered the comic issues that Ditko made to be the most important comics ever and they are right, he also created the DC Comic characters Hawk and Dove, and without him, we would not be able to see Hawk and Dove being played by Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly in the upcoming DC Universe series Titans. For readers of #KlicKNet to understand what Steve Ditko meant to comic book fans everywhere, here are a ton of tweets from fans who have shared their deep thoughts about the passing of the great late Legend.

DoctorDoom @Acidic_Heart
Steve Ditko was a master who worked on tons of classic comics and co-created two of Marvel's greatest characters (and many more)
RIP to a legend
Adam Stabelli @AdamofGotham
This will always be my favorite piece of Steve Ditko Spider-Man artwork.
Silas Lesnick @silaslesnick
Comic book legends don't get bigger than Steve Ditko. It's sad to hear that he has passed, but he's still going to outlive us all.

Sam Adams @SamuelAAdams
Steve Ditko’s Spider-Man issues are some of the best and most important comics ever drawn. RIP.

Neil Gaiman @neilhimself
I had heard rumours, hoped they were not true. Thank you Steve Ditko, for making my childhood weirder, and thank you @wossy for taking me with you when we went in search of Steve Ditko, and found him. A kind man, who gave me comics.

Jonathan Ross @wossy
I am beyond sad. For me, the single greatest comic book artist and creator who ever lived, Steve Ditko, is gone. Thank you for your tireless brilliance and boundless imagination, Steve, you uncompromising genius.
Neil Gaiman @neilhimself
Without Steve Ditko there would have been no Spider-Man, no Doctor Strange, no Creeper, no Hawk and Dove, none of the black and white reprint comics I read in seaside resorts as a boy. No The Question (which means no Rorschach). No Mister A. No mystery.

Christopher Johnson @OfficialCDJ
RIP Steve Ditko, a man responsible for the visual style of millions of childhood memories. Spider-Man is my favourite comic book character, so to see one of his dads pass away saddens me greatly. He will be missed!

Shannon Hale @haleshannon
Steve Ditko was the co-creator of Squirrel Girl. What a legacy. 🐿️🐿️🐿️️🐿️🐿️🐿️

cecil castellucci @misscecil
Just hearing about Steve Ditko. Ditko also created SHADE THE CHANGING MAN, which is a character which changed my life.  I wish I could shake his hand and say thank you.  And I hope his spirit is off in the universe doing something mad and strange.

Fabian Nicieza @FabianNicieza
Thank you Steve Ditko for everything you gave us.
Thank you for giving me the honor of working on Speedball stories with you.
The results of your imagination will live on forever.

In honor of Steve Ditko, I give to the viewers some major clips from Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange and Spider-Man : Homecoming. Two great movies that, once again, would not be possible without the genius of Ditko who devoted his life to making comic books for fans and has left his mark on the world that can never been removed. So Steve, from me to you is a Web Choice playlist that highlights the incredible performances of Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Holland who gave their heart and soul into Doctor Strange and Spider-Man on the big screen would lead their awkward encounter in Avengers: Infinity War.
