Today's UPDATES

There is not much to report today in sports, oh, except for one thing, the Semi-Finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Everything is taking shape for the final match of the World Cup this Sunday, and here's a quick Max Sports rundown that covers the final four teams vying for the final match. First up today will France taking on Belgium in Saint Petersburg, Russia, these two European football teams know each other all too well, in 73 previous matches, France and Belgium have always been at odds with one another, they've even faced each other two times in the World Cup. France had won both World Cup matches in 1938 and 1986, but Belgium most recently victory over France was in 2015 three years when they won that game 4-3. As for for the second Semi-Finals game tomorrow, it will be Croatia vs England in Moscow and this one's a little different for these two teams had faced each other in seven previous matches, which includes two matches played in the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification games, England would win on both games while holding Croatia to just one goal in each. To cover the Semi-Finals overall, this is the fifth time in World Cup history that an all-European semi-final line up was completed and this will also ensured that a European team would win the World Cup for the fourth tournament in a row. Be sure to see the first game of the World Cup semis today at 2PM on FOX and check out a ton of results from MLB and WWE down below along with more tracking on NBA Free Agency.

Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel has finished filming this past week and it's the perfect subject for today's #TwitterTrend. We've all been dying to see Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel aka the entire Carol Corps on the big screen ever since it was first announced in October 2014, and things have indeed change since then. The film was originally going to be released in theaters last week, that's right, July 6, 2018 was the original release date for Marvel but it was pushed back to November 2 of this year to make room for Spider-Man Homecoming last July. Then, Captain Marvel was pushed to March 8, 2019, allowing Ant-Man and The Wasp to take over July 6th spot last week, spoiler alert: haven't seen the new movie yet. So this past Sunday, Oscar winning actress Brie Larson who will play Captain Marvel announced on twitter that the final day of shooting on the upcoming Marvel film was last week on July 6th, and she was able shared a photo marking the last day that you can see down below. As people speculate how Captain Marvel will have a key role in Avengers 4 and the rest of MCU in the near future, they cannot hold their excitement of seeing this Marvel Superheroine on the big screen for the very first time, and either can I. Here what some fans had to say about the Captain Marvel finally wrapping up filming after a couple of months in production,

We have some real life heroes right now in Thailand because twelve boys from a young soccer team and their coach, for a total of 13 people, were rescued from a cave in the north of Thailand where they had been trapped for more than two weeks. It's a very wonderful story to hear about today and everyone is giving their best reactions and relief that the team has been saved thanks to the Thailand Navy SEAL Team, however four members of the Thai military had yet to make their way out of the cave. It has taken a dozens of divers, hundreds of volunteers to rescue the captives in the last 18 days, about 100 divers, medical personnel and support staff had evacuated eight soccer teammates and the rescue effort involved guiding the boys through passageways filled with water, but the boys had some helpful swimming skills taught to them from the older personnels who even taught them how to dive through the water. This sort of drama has caught the attention of the whole wide world, but to help the viewers of #KlicNet to understand it, here is a new Web Choice playlist with news media outlets to explain most of the situation better than me.
