#fakeTV FRiDAY

This is going to be the last time that i'm writing on #KlicKNet before the trip to Dorney Park in Pennsylvania on Monday, so I'll try to make this #fakeTV Friday post a good one. This upcoming weekend in sports will be a good one as well with WWE Extreme Rules taking this Sunday night on the WWE Network and pay-per-view, there will be ten matches on the main card and special kickoff show match between The New Day and SAnitY who will compete in a 6-Man Tag Team Tables match. Before then, we'll all be able to see the 2018 FIFA World Cup Final Sunday morning at 11AM on FOX, France will look to take home another trophy after first winning the World Cup 20 years ago in its own home country. They will take on Croatia who defeated England 2-1 last Wednesday in the second of two World Cup Semifinals this week, the match will be held at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia. On a different note, Belgium and England who both lost in the Semi Final round will compete in the Third Place play-off match tomorrow at Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg, Russia, the game starts at 10AM on FOX, and it's sure to spice things up before the Final match on Sunday. As for the rest of this Max Sports rundown, here's one last final look at the Extreme Rules match and results from MLB games last Wednesday and Thursday.

It maybe Friday the 13th, but there's no bad luck when it comes to a #JustSoYouKnow moment like this one. Yesterday, the nominations for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced LIVE on the internet and I'm loving this list of nominees from start to finish and for a very good reason. That reason being is that The Daily Show with Trevor Noah is not just nominated for 1 Emmy Award like last year, this time it has three nominations for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series, Outstanding Interactive Program, and aslo for Outstanding Variety Talk Series. I've been watching Trevor Noah host The Daily Show since late September 2015 after Jon Stewart had left a month before, and I'm starting to get why Comedy Central chose him to take the chair. During his now three year tenure, Trevor Noah missed out on the Variety Talk Series category at the Emmys last year and the year before that. For obvious reasons, he wasn't just yet on that very same level as Jon Stewart once was or as many other late-night hosts are right now, but it's looks like third time's the charm for the South African comedian. Now, Trevor Noah's Daily Show joins Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late Late with James Corden, and two time Variety Talk Series winner Last Week Tonight with John Oliver in this year's battle for the award. I had a very good feeling the Trevor Noah would be nominated for something greater than just a Creative Arts Emmy, though he seems like the underdog compared to the other five nominees have made names for themselves in the past couple of years, but we'll see who takes home the Outstanding Variety Talk Series award on Monday, September 17th when the 70th Emmy Awards are LIVE on NBC. A few other things, Netflix has broken HBO's winning streak for having the most nominations among TV networks and streaming services with 112 nominations, while HBO was given 108 nominations by the TV Academy, Plus, Game of Thrones which will not air new episodes until next year has 22 nominations, Saturday Night Live and Westworld are tied with 21, and The Handmaid's Tale has 20, viewers of #KlicKNet can relive the Emmy nomination announcements down below in a couple of videos.

70th Emmy Nominations: Variety Talk Series

Before I sign for this week, one last quick reminder, I will be taking some proper vacation time as I prepare to head out to Dorney Park for three days so the likeliness that #KlicKNet would be either next Friday or one week from this Sunday. I still haven't see Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and the Wasp cause msy sister taking forever to give me the nod for when we can go together, hopefully it will be this weekend before we go out of state. So this wrap up this whole post, I now present a new Top Ten list covering the most of the highlight's from yesterday's Emmy nomination announcement.
