Today's UPDATES

There's not much to say about today except it's going to be good enough for some afternoon baseball. Sometime today, there will be six afternoon MLB games starting with the Mets vs the Braves, plus another Divisional Rivalry between the Blue Jays and the Rays, and another between the Cubs and the Brewers, and then the Red Sox vs the Orioles. However, this Max Sports rundown is about how everything looks in the 2018 MLB Season for the first two and a half months and lately it's been a big turnaround for many teams who were at the top of the standings but now find themselves a notch down than they previous, This is mostly due to injury that affects a team's lineup of players which can dwindle down to only a few best players, but I believe what really giving teams a rough time is the number of rain delays this year, in fact there were 25 games postponed in first the 3 weeks of the season due to weather issues. As for the standings, the Yankees, the Indians, and the Mariners are all leading in their respective divisions in the American League, however the  Mariners are in a heated battle for their division's top spot with the defending World Series Champions Astros, Meanwhile in the National League, the Braves, the Brewers, the Diamondbacks are leading their divisions as well but the Braves are have to protect their spot against the Nationals who have been on quite the surge as of late. With the MLB All-Star game in Washington D.C. coming up next month, there's still time for teams to make some kind of run to improve their records in the standings, and as you can see down below, they must first improve the strategies for every single game.

Here's comes another installment of #JustSoYouKnow that it's a complete variety of a groundbreaking news, so get's get into a few. Yesterday, a federal judge made an official ruling that AT&T can move forward with its acquisition of Time Warner for $85 Billion dollars, since the end of the last year, the Justice Department had been trying to prove that the massive merger would harm other competitors. But with no hard-convincing evidence of said outcome, AT&T win on the court approval and they will be the owners of everything that is Time Warner under no conditions from the court; what makes this even more interesting is that it opens the door for Comcast to make its announce to outbid The Walt Disney Company and buy a big chunk of 21st Century Fox. Also happening yesterday was the red carpet premiere of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, almost all of the stars of the film were part of the star-studded event in Los Angeles including lead actors Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. It seems appropriate that the premiere would be this week since it is the 25th Anniversary of the Original Jurassic Park film which grossed over $1.029 Billion dollars. Today, FIFA announced that Canada, Mexico and United States would all host the 2026 FIFA World Cup together as the world will be United in North America eight years from now for will be a humongous tournament. The joint bid between USA, Mexico and Canada was fully approved over the bid made by Morocco and will see the tournament expand from 32 to 48 teams, which means even more teams from more countries can qualify. Finally from yesterday, the WWE has announced that Brock Lesnar has held the Universal Championship for 435 days, which is more than to surpass CM Punk's WWE title record, which started in 2011. Lesnar is now the longest-reigning champion in WWE's modern era, but fans are pointing out that he has defended the Universal Title less times than CM Punk did with the WWE Title, and here are their tweets to prove that statement.

Paul Heyman @HeymanHustle

Congratulations to @BrockLesnar for day #435 as the reigning defending undisuputed @WWE #UniversalHeavyweightChampion. This is yet another historic accomplishment for my client, the longest consecutive-day tenure as a globally-recognized champion in the modern era!
Paul Heyman @HeymanHustle
For the record, this is just the beginning of a long list of history-making achievements my client @BrockLesnar is perepared to rack up during the next 12 months. And that's not a prediction ... THAT'S A SPOILER!

News:

Brock Lesnar Is Now Officially The Longest Reigning WWE World Champion In The Modern Era

Brock 435 Days 10 Title Defenses

Punk 434 Days 141 Title Defenses

The Flying Clutchman @TheBishopGainz
This is ugly bc in the real sport Punk is 0-2 and Lesnar is 6-3 lmao

WWE @WWE

Tony Williams @bigtoe1978
@WWE Brock Lesnar has become the modern eras longest reigning WWE champion. Taking it away from CM Punk. there's a massive difference between the 2. Punk was there every week. WWE universe is lucky if Lesnar is there once every 3 months. No comparison & shouldn't be recognized

Ryan Satin @ryansatin
FACT: Paul Heyman managed the two longest reigning WWE champions of the modern era and is the greatest manager of this generation.

Chris Shadows @Judd603
Brock Lesnar did NOT break CM Punk's title reign. Punk was WWE champion, Lesnar's Universal champion. Two different championships, two different records. Nice try @WWE but no dice 👌

To make things a little quick, let's discuss the first teaser trailer for Disney's live action remake of Dumbo coming to theaters on March 29, 2019. The movie was made by the wonderful mind of Tim Burton and features an ensemble cast of Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green and Alan Arkin, some call the trailer a little dark but as any Disney fan who loved watching Dumbo as a little kid should know that this is going a nice retelling of the story of a little elephant with big ears and can fly. I've never really seen animated Dumbo film 'cause I prefer many other Disney Classics from the past, but if I had to make a guess, I say this that the live action remake just do just fine in theaters next year as did live action versions of The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast. Today's Web Choice playlist showcases the teaser trailer for Dumbo, along with a couple of trailer reactions from many who watched it this morning.
