#fakeTV: Top Ten

Presenting the latest Max Sports rundown on this gloomy day with fierce details about the first game in the 2018 NBA Finals. The Cleveland Cavaliers were the complete underdogs going into last night's game with the Golden State Warriors, but every time they were down a couple of point, they were able to fight back and gain a lead of their own. Now when it comes to the Warriors, they are always cool and calm despite the Cavaliers' best efforts to try and win, however the game was a lopsided as some people would think. The first quarter ended with the Cavaliers leading by 1 point over the Warriors 30-29, then in the second, Steph Curry hit a buzzer beating three point shot which would tie the game at 59 point a piece as halftime commenced. It has been said that the Warriors are most dangerous in the third quarter because that were they wear their opponents down, although they kept the Cavs to just 22 points while they scored 28 points in order to take the lead heading into the fourth and last quarter, and this is where it really gets interesting. The Cavs made 29 points and e kept the warriors to 23, but somehow it was not enough to put the Dubs, and then with 4.7 seconds left on the clock, George Hill attempted to shoot a pair of free throw to put the Cavs up by a few after he was fouled by Klay Thompson. He made the first one and missed the second, luckily J.R. Smith  Smith secured the rebound of the missed free throw, but he did the unthinkable and dribbled the ball back toward half court instead of shooting it, for he fought the Cavs were going to take a timeout. This would take the game into overtime with the scored tied at 107, and this time the Warriors meant business and outscored the Cavs in overtime 17-7 which would give them a 124-114 victory to take Game 1 of the Finals. In spite of LeBron James putting up a playoff career high of 51 points, nothing could have stopped the Warriors in overtime, Steph Curry gad 29 points in the game and he and Draymond Green each had 9 assists. Now it's off to Game Two this Sunday, where the Cavs need to tie the series to keep their hopes of another championship alive. Hopefully, the NBA Finals will be as entertaining as the Stanley Cup Finals which is tied a game a piece due to the Capitals outlasting the Golden Knights on the latter's home ice in Game 2 last Wednesday. See how the Championship matchups look heading into the first weekend of June and be sure see how the next games will play.
