Today's UPDATES

"Resurgence:" an increase or revival after a period of little activity, popularity, or occurrence. This word can easily describe the second half performance by the Golden State Warriors last night in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals, Houston you let me down ya'll. Here a word to describe what the Rockets did in the second half. "Depletion:" reduction in the number or quantity of something. I am prepare right now to discuss last night's game in our Max Sports rundown today in spite of the dull Memorial Day yesterday, for the Rockets were in complete control of the first half despite of Chris Paul's inability to play in this game due to hamstring injury. They scored 29-14 over the Dubs in the very first quarter and outscored them again in the second quarter 30-24. But when it comes to the second half, the Warriors are very dangerous, the Rockets learned that the hard way in Game 6 and again last night in Game 7 when they were outscored 33-15 in the third quarter. TO make matters worse, the Rockets missed 27 concestive three points attempts which the Warriors took advantage of and made a ton of three point shots. Despite a good effort by the Rockets in the fourth quarter, the Warriors took Game 7 in a 101-92 victory which sealed the deal for the entire series. Check out these numbers from the Dubs, 34 points from Kevin Durant, 10 points and 13 rebounds by Draymond Green, giving him a double-double, and 27 points and 10 assists were made by Steph Curry in his own double-double. James Harden's 32 points run wasn't enough to life the Rockets to victory, either was Eric Gordon's 23 points, both players got 6 assists, and P.J, Tucker who despite getting  points at all, had 12 rebounds in the game instead. We must move on to Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals which for the fourth straight year will be contested between the Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, and things I believe are going to be real different than previous series between these two teams in what has been a major rivalry in the past four years.Meanwhile. Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals was a complete shootout, the Golden Knights made a good impression in Finals debut, scoring the first goal of the first period and from then on, all bets were off. In the end, Golden Knights defeated the Captials 6-4. Here's a last look at the NBA Conference Finals and a preview of the NBA Finals schedule which starts on Thursday.

Some people can remember a time when the NBA did not have a LeBron James, in the 1990s, it was all about Micheal Jordan, int 2000s decade, it was all about Kobe Bryant. But the decade we are all living in now, 2010s, will be remembered the great performances by LeBron James, the newest #TwitterTrend today will have everyone concerned about what this player has meant for the Basketball Community since he first appeared in the NBA back in 2003 when he was just a rookie. He started out as the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Cavaliers, from then on he had been with the teams for the seven long seasons, and in 2007, he led them to their first NBA Finals appearance which they were swept by the Spurs in four games. After three straight failed attempts to get back to the Finals from 2007-2010, LeBron was in the point of his career in which he had to make a decision and we all know how that turned out. So fast forward to 2014 when LeBron made his return to Cleveland where he took the Cavaliers to three straight Finals appearances, one of which was when they finally won a championship in 2016. This coming Thursday, he will lead a reamped team of Cavaliers to their fourth straight NBA Finals and if this really is his last time in a Cavs, this will have to be his most great run for a championship ever, because given the fact the Cavs are underdogs over the Warriors, LeBron will have to play beyond greatness to overcome anything that the Warriors throw at him. In conclusion of this statement, it's best to put LeBron's incredible streak of NBA Finals appearances in perspective, by helping everyone remember what the world was like in 2010, when The King was absent for the Championship of that exact year.

LeBron James has won 6 straight Game 7s and moves to 6-2 in Game 7s in his career. This will be his 8th straight NBA Finals appearance.

James will become the 6th player in NBA history to play in 8 straight Finals (joining 5 players from Celtics teams of the 1950s-60s).

Adam Best @adamcbest
The last time LeBron missed the NBA Finals, Game of Thrones wasn’t even a TV show yet and Drake’s debut album hadn’t dropped. Kind of puts his greatness into perspective.

Fred Katz @FredKatz
The last time the NBA Finals didn’t include LeBron, the No. 1 movie in the box office was “The Karate Kid.”

It was the remake, but don’t lie: it’s been so long, you kinda thought for a second it was the original.

Micah Adams @MicahAdams13
The last time LeBron wasn't in the Finals, only 3 of the current 19 Marvel movies had been released.

Adam McKay @GhostPanther
Last time Lebron didn’t go to a finals? James K Polk was President. A young man named Elvis Presley had invented the VCR.  And a new book topped the New York Times best sellers list: the Bible.

With so much talk about basketball, now seems like a good to speak a little WWE Wrestling as the superstars of Raw and SmackDown are preparing for Money in the Bank. We know that there will be two Money in the Bank Ladder Matches in which one will feature male superstars of the two brands and the second will feature the women of the two brands. I believe that this is the best lineup of superstars that WWE has offered for its Ladder matches that consists of two contracts for future championship matches. Money in the Bank has made a superstar successful in their careers and those who cash in the contract successfully have put their names in the history books with so much pride. Last night during Monday Night  Raw, the field was set for the Women's Ladder match was completed when Sasha Banks won a seven women gauntlet match and she now joins Ember Moon, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Lana and Naomi for an eight women showdown that has gotten everyone talking, it's anybody's guess who could win this year and hold on to the briefcase with a women's championship contract inside. As for the men, the field for that match will be completed tonight on SmackDown Live when Daniel Bryan takes on Samoa Joe with the winner joining Braun Strowman, Finn Bálor, The Miz, Rusev, Bobby Roode and Kevin Owens, The New Day are still deciding which member of their team they should enter into the Men's Ladder match. While we wait to see everything fall into place, our latest Web Choice playlist gives a few highlights from last night's Memorial Day edition of Monday Night Raw.
