Today's UPDATES

Wednesdays have always been somewhat of a slow midday of the week, but I assume that this going to be a great week moving forward. There's a lot to report in our Max Sports rundown today, the Cavaliers are coming, who succeed in a hard fought victory in Game Seven of their first round series over the Pacers, found themselves in Game One against the Raptors in the Conference Semi-Finals on the NBA Playoffs. This was a complete back and forth confrontation last night and it has been building up since the first time the Raptors and Cavaliers face each other in the playoffs back in 2016. The Cavs had won the regular-season series against the Raptors, but the difference with this new series is about two things, first off, the Raptors are the #1 Seed in the East while the Cavs are #4, and second, the Raptors have home court advantage in this series. However, nothing could have stop the Cavaliers from coming to Toronto last night and putting on a great performance, the Raptors did an excellent job keeping pace with them, and it when it came down to the last few seconds of the 4th Quarter, the game was all tied up at 105/ So moving on to Overtime, it was another Back and Forth battle to win Game One, and in the end, it was the Cavaliers secured the win for themselves and send Raptors fans in Toronto disappointed. As for the other Conference Semis game that took place last night, it was a display of powerful offense between the Warriors and Pelicans as these two Western Conference would do anything to get ahead of one another. Luckily for the Warriors, they had their secret weapon ready to go; that would be Steph Curry that I'm talking about, he put 28 points and made five perfect three-point field goals. Thanks to Curry and Kevin Durant, the Warriors have taken a 2-0 series lead over the Pelicans who are going to have to do extremely well on their own home court in New Orleans if they want to make any kind of comeback. If the readers of #KlicKNet are looking for more, then they know where to look for full-on results of last night's events.

Yesterday, the nominations for the 2018 Tony Awards were announced by Hamilton stars Leslie Odom Jr. and Katharine McPhee. I don't watch the Tony Awards so very often, but think that this year's is one that I have to see, the awards will be given out on June 10th and the entire show will be hosted by  Josh Groban and the star of Waitress Sara Bareilles. Moving on to the nominations, which are the subject of today's #TwitterTrend, some would believe me if I said the Harry Potter and the Curse Child received ten nominations, which is the same number that the revived musical My Fair Lady received. Some would be shocked I said that Frozen: The Musial has only gotten three award nominations, mainly because of mixed reviews it had gotten on Broadway. But the biggest shock that the readers of #KlicNet have to hear to believe is what I am about to say right now, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical has gotten twelves nominations, which the ties the most with the musical Mean Girls. SpongeBob has been loved everywhere he goes, and now the little yellow dude has made to Broadway and has found critically acclaimed success. It's a wonder as too how many awards the SpongeBob musical can win, it's only been around for one season and already it has made as big splash in the sea of musicals, one important award that SpongeBob is nominated is Best Original Score. The thing about this one is kinda funny because, many artists had helped with the music for it and it will be difficult to list them all right here, so check the tweets down below to see who's there.

There has been a lot of criticism surrounding the White House Correspondents' Dinner last Saturday, which you know who did not attend. Soon-to-be talk show host Michelle Wolf was the host for the event and received both praise and criticism for her monologue, and she made an unbelievable remark to the US press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders who Trump had sent to the dinner. Just after last Saturday, may other late-night hosts including Trevor Noah, Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert have come to the aid and the defense of Michelle Wolf about the remarks she made, while the White House Correspondents Association delivered a semi-sorta apology, saying her routine was not in the dinner’s spirit of “unity.” The speech also caused Trump to tweet out that she was “filthy” and “mean,” and The Hill newspaper informed the WHCA that it would no longer participate in the DC event, saying, "In short, there’s simply no reason for us to participate in something that casts our profession in a poor light. Major changes are needed to the annual event." Today it was announced that Wolf will be on returning to Late Night with Seth Meyers’ as a guest on Wednesday May 9th following her controversial Dinner appearance. This has become somewhat personal for some people, and in case anyone needs a better understanding of the whole thing, today's Web Choice playlist let's everyone see the remarks made by Michelle Wolf and the many comments from Meyers, Noah and Colbert.
