Today's UPDATES

If you live in the area of Houston, then today is not a good day for you. If you living in the Golden State area, the guess what you have now woken up to the great news that the Warriors have won Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. If you want to here a full rundown about this subject, then Max Sports is the right source for you, listen to this one. The first half of the game started as back and forth confrontation between two of the best in the West and also the best in the NBA, but when it comes to the second half, all bets are off. The Warriors are most dangerous in the third and fourth quarter of every game, they were able to keep the Rockets from taking back the lead the rest of the way and win 119-106. This was thanks in part by Kevin Durant, who has been what I call a secret weapon for the Warriors since they acquired him back in 2016, he scored 37 points and believe it or not his former teammate James Harden had the most points with a total of 41. The Rockets had better find a way to bounce back if they to get past the Warriors and make it to the NBA Finals for the first time in decades, speaking of bouncing back, tonight is Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals as the Cavaliers are still dealing with an embarrassing lost last Sunday. The Celtics are without Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward and yet they found a way to knock off the Cavaliers, so it looks like it up to LeBron James to lead his on another comeback. This week in the WWE, the Raw Women's Champion Nia Jax challenged "ROWDY" Ronda Rousey to a championship match at Money in the Bank, and you can bet that the ROWDY One accepted it. Plus, more Money in the Bank qualifying matches took place, this time in London, England, the location of last night's Monday Night Raw. Completing the raw side of the field for the Men's Ladder Match were Bobby Roode and Kevin Owens who, after losing to Seth Rollins in a IC Title match at the beginning of the show, was inserted into one of the qualifying matches. This was because Jinder Mahal was supposed to be in one of these matches but was brutally injured by Roman Reigns, and with the help of Sami Zayn, Owens found a way to get into the Men's Ladder match. See what else happened last night in sports wit ha very quick update.

It's time for another #JustSoYouKnow story. On Sunday Night, Fox renewed the hit drama Gotham for a fifth and final season, and during the FOX Upfront yesterday it was announced that the series' final episodes will air during mid-season next year. Yesterday afternoon while I was surfing through the internet, I learned as well as everyone else that ABC has renewed Marvel's Agents of SHIELD for a sixth season, although it was will be a short season this time, it doesn't matter to me or any other Marvel fan. The only fact that matters is that SHIELD is back for another run, and it's likely that the new season will be put to midseason like Gotham, it's going to be fun to watch our favorite Agents kick butt once again, especially with Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 set premiere next year. A lot fans has been demanding for another of SHIELD on social media and all that demanding paid off, now we don't have to worry about this Friday's season finale being the final episode ever. With Avengers 4 being the last chapter of a ten-year saga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it would be fitting if Agents of SHIELD were to end along in after all we're still in Phase Three of the MCU, but we'll have to get through the season finale this Friday to see what's in stored for the future of the whole future, and here's a sneak peek at the finale in the form of a short Web Choice playlist.

Our #TwitterTrend today is bit of a preview of what to come this Summer. The 2018 FIFA World Cup will take place in Russia and over 32 teams from 32 countries will battle in knockout rounds to determine to wins the World Cup Title. The United Sates will have no part in this summer long event due to the fact that it failed to qualify for the World Cup for the first time in thirty-two years, meanwhile, other North American teams such as Costa Rica, Mexico and Panama made the cut with the greatest of ease. Way back in February. Fox Sports announced  its game plan and official TV schedule for its coverage of the 2018 World Cup this summer, and the broadcast network will air 38 games live, more than the previous four World Cups combined and the most ever for an English-language network, with a total of more than 350 hours of programming. The soccer tournament will open on June 14 with host country Russia against Saudi Arabia and will wrap up on July 15 with the final match, both in Moscow and both live at 11 AM ET on Fox. Fox Sports 1 will air an additional 26 matches, and all 64 games will be live-streamed through Fox Sports Go and Fox Soccer Match Pass. In addition to all of that, FOX Sports has build a two-story studio complex based in Russia h=that will featuring two sets, a main anchor desk and an interview area for pregame, postgame and late-night shows. You can also expect many programs during the World Cup such as World Cup Live with Kate Abdo, World Cup Today with Rob Stone; and World Cup Tonight with host Fernando Fiore. All of this sounds great, and for more on the status of some of the teams in the World Cup, check out all the major tweets down below.
