Today's UPDATES

As NBA fans get ready for the Conference Finals to tip-off today, it's time to take one last look into each matchups through our latest Max Sports rundown. The Cleveland Cavaliers are the defending Eastern Conference Champions, but they had enter these playoffs as the #4 Seed due to many losses and struggles this past regular season. They only had home court advantage ihe first round against the Pacers, but all of that was thrown out the window since they took on the #1 Seed Raptors who despite having home court in Conference Semi-Finals were still eliminated by the Cavaliers. The Boston Celtics have had a tougher mountain to climb to get to the Eastern Finals, they took on the Bucks in a Seven-Game Showdown which they were able to win, then moving on to the Conference Semis, the Cletics faced the 76ers who made a big impact these playoffs but could not handle the young power of the Celtics who defeated them in five games. So today in Game One of the Eastern Finals, the Celtics play host to the Cavaliers in Boston and with players like Terry Rozier and Al Horford at their disposal, they'll have to give LeBron James and Co. everything that they's got. We'll discuss the Western Conference Finals tomorrow, but for today, here's quick update on the Stanley Cup Conference Finals, the Capitals put a dent in the Lighting's hopes to getting back to the Stanley Cup Final with a 4-2 victory last Friday. Then, last night the Jets played host to the Golden Knights and were still the underdogs going into the entire, but that did not stop them from getting a similar victory like the Captials and beating the Golden Knights 4-2. Get every match-up down below and see what is to come for the remaining teams in each playoff tourney.

Lucasfilm's latest installment of the Star Wars saga hits theaters during Memorial Day Weekend and it's called Solo: A Star Wars Story.Today's #TwitterTrend discusses the first responses this brand new film revolving around a younger version of Han Solo, the movie had a troubled passage to the big screen with Ron Howard replacing original directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. After last Thursday's Red Carpet World Premiere in Los Angeles, the response to the film were largely positive and that;s good thing because it's silences all the doubters who believed that this  would not lift itself off the ground once it premieres in theaters everywhere. Initial projections hs the movie making $170 million dollars at the box office and maybe $200 million if it does extremely well, but only time will tell if fans of the movies have another Star Wars masterpiece on our hands thanks in part of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Let's see what these fans are saying about see one of their favorite Star Wars characters in their early days.

NO SPOILERS until everyone's seen it, but I can't wait to see it AGAIN. 👍

Got out of #SoloAStarWarsStory and I’m completely floored. This movie seriously holds up! I was on the edge of my seat and had so much fun watching it! Interviewing the stars of the film tomorrow, cannot wait

Solo: A Star Wars Story is a goddamn delight. It’s a non-stop adventure packed with way more emotion than your expecting. You’ll have a smile on your face the whole time and leave eager for more.

Kevin Polowy @djkevlar
#SoloAStarWarsStory is reaaaaalllly good. Fun as hell. It’s a straight intergalactic heist movie, kind of refreshing to see a Star Wars movie w/o a Death Star or the rebellion’s fate at stake. Alden Ehrenreich is super impressive as Han, but L3 might be my favorite new character.

Joel Meares @joelmeares
Wow. Just come out of #SoloAStarWarsStory and can confirm it’s kinda a blast. @donaldglover was as perfect as expected, but Alden Ehrenreich has swagger to match, and spare.

Anthony Breznican @Breznican
#Solo thoughts: Blast.💥 Like the Falcon, a few rough edges getting there, but I thought @RealRonHoward pulled it off as neatly as a Wookiee removes arms.

Kara Warner @karawarner
Ooo @StarWars fans you are in for a friggin TREAT w/ #Solo. Killer cast. A great adventure. So much fun. #hansolo

Michelle Buchman @michelledeidre
I loved #SoloAStarWarsStory so much. It’s a western. A caper. Funny with so much heart. It’s got so much surprises that fans are going to love. Donald Glover is charming x1000. Alden Ehrenreich is a great #HanSolo and just know I’ve been saying this for years! Fave new #StarWars.

Angie J. Han @ajhan
Alden Ehrenreich is the real deal, Thandie Newton is who I want to be when I grow up, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s L3... well we’ll talk about that later. 😃 #SoloAStarWarsStory

Carly Mallenbaum @ThatGirlCarly
Alden Ehrenreich as Han totally grew on me. And @donaldglover as Lando was such a delight. But I left the film yearning to see the version that Chris Miller and Phil Lord would've made. #SoloAStarWarsStory #SoloMovie #SoloPremiere

Perri Nemiroff @PNemiroff
There’s some fun to be had with #SoloAStarWarsStory. Ehrenreich was solid and really enjoyed Glover and Waller-Bridge as L3, but not convinced we needed a young Han Solo movie. Was really hoping for higher stakes, more energy and depth.

The embargo is finally lifted, so I can reveal that in SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY they try to tell Han Solo the odds and he's like "never tell me the odds" and then high-fives his giant dog.

Earlier we spoke about today's first game of the Eastern Conference Finals in the 2018 NBA Playoffs and it's going to be a rematch of last year's bout between the Cavs and Celtics. Some don't understand that this series is just as "Must-See" as the Rockets vs Warriors, mainly because of the all-star performances from both Cavs and Celtics, Jayson Tatum has wowed crowds alongside his Boston teammates who have found a way to hold down the fort while their best player Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward are gone for the rest of the season. Meanwhile, LeBron James has been apart of many changes within the Cavaliers' starting lineups but he has always found the right rhythm to his ball movement gets the right shots no matter who is playing alongside with him, To understand the pressure and excitement that awaits these teams in the East from a visual standpoint, prepare yourself for a NBA style Web Choice playlist showcases some of the best moments between the Cavaliers and the Celtics.
