Today's UPDATES

I'm a little exhausted, actually I take that very exhausted, because last night was by far the best NXT TakeOver, I have seen I first started watching them in 2015. Five All-Star matches with so much on the line in every single one of them and Max Sports is ready to break them all down for the readers of #KlicKNet. The first match of the night was a Ladder match to crown the first ever NXT North American Champion and all six competitors in this match gave it their all, there was high flying moves off ladder and bone crusher slams through ladders as well. In the end, it look like NXT newcomers EC3 and Ricochet would climb up the ladder of success and win the championship in their very first match in NXT, but it was The Undisputed ERA's ADAM COLE (BAY BAY) that snuck past the competition and pull down the North American Title. Of course, Adam Cole's night was done yet, he still had to fill-in for the injured Bobby Fish and team up with Kyle O' Reilly in a triple threat tag team for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Cup and the NXT Tag Team TItles. The odds didn't seem too good for the Undisputed Era who were being decimated by the Authors of Pain and the team of Roderick Strong and Pete Dunne, but believe it or not they had bit of a guardian angel that guided them to victory, and that Guardian's name is RODERICK STRONG. Nobody saw this one coming, but not only did Strong turn on his partner Pete Dune and joined the Undisputed ERA, he allowed Kyle O' Reilly to pick up the victory over Dunne, allowing the O'Reilly and Cole to keep the NXT Tag Team Titles and win the Dusty Cup in the process. NXT TakeOver: New Orleans also got a little physical with a big matchup for the NXT Women's Championship between Ember Moon and Shayna Baszler; it was a match that got a bit too personal, Moon tried to break the left arm of Baszler to keep her from doing her most dangerous moves, but it wasn't enough. Baszler was able to lock in the Kirifuda Clutch to knock Moon out cold and win the Women's Title, so now the NXT Women's Division is own by the Submission Magician and Queen of Spades and you bet she will hold every women in NXT hostage if she wanted to. These matches all just warm up as to what was to come later, and we'll get into the last two matches later on, but here's a full recap of the weekend in sports with a final look at the NHL Playoff Standings.

Now on to the main event of NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, first Andrade "Cien" Almas was in for the match of his life against The Dutch Destroyer known as Aleister Black. It was a back and forth confrontation of epic proportions, Black had Almas right where he wanted him at many different points of the match, but the beautiful Zelina Vega stopped Black from getting victory every single time. But Black found a way to outsmart both Almas and Vega because with every they move they made, Black found to fight back through all of them until was crowned the new title holder of the NXT Championship. Last but sure as heck hot least was an Unsanctioned Match between to former best friends and tag team partners in Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa it was had to be one the most emotional matches I have seen in recent years. This match could have gone either way to one of these superstars, and they pulled a dirty trick in the book 'cause after all it was Unsanctioned which meant they there no rules whatsoever. Just when you fought Ciampa had Gargano, #JohnnyWrestleing was still in, and just when you fought Gargano had Ciampa, the Sicilian Psychopath refused to lose. The conclusion of the match is what a lot of people are talking about and it felt like it was something out of a movie, that moment of hesitation from both men could have cost them dearly, but Gargano dodge every single one of Ciampa cheap shots and use his own sick twisted methods against him which gave #JohhnyWrestling the opening he was looking for. So now, not only did Gargano get reinstated back into NXT, where he belongs, but picked up a monumental victory which completed his to-do list and long to redemption. All and all this was a great show, one that might have topped off WrestleMania weekend completely, and if anyone doubts, then the following #TwitterTrend will show you what some of the harsh reactions to fans who believe that TakeOver: New Orleans was the better show, before Mania 34 even starts tonight.

#NXTTakeOver had a ladder match that is the new gold standard of ladder matches. I still maintain that @mauroranallo creates a real fight feel and an urgency that no other commentator can match. Don’t ever change @mauroranallo
