Today's UPDATES

Things are getting really hot right now with NBA Playoffs and Stanley Cup Playoffs, and for more, here's a full Max Sports Rundown. Four NHL teams (Lightning, Sharks, Golden Knights and Wild) have advanced to the next round, but we can now confirmed that only second round match-up at the moment is Sharks vs Golden Knights. Four Stanley Cup First Round matchups remain and two of them could be decided today when the Penguins have the Flyers on the brick of elimination with a 3-2 lead, the Presidents' Trophy winning Predators also have a 3-1 on their opponents. Tonight could be the night that the Preds get another step closer to reaching the Stanley Cup Final again, all they have to do is defeat the Avalanche, but the latter will not go down without a fight from one of the hottest team in hockey. Meanwhile in the NBA, the Pelicans have won their 1st playoff series since 2008 when they were called the Hornets, it was a dominant sweep over the Trail Blazers which punched their ticket to the next round where they will likely face the Warriors who are on the verge of sweeping the Spurs today. The Sixers put on a showcase yesterday in one of their most impressive win over the Heat, Timberwolves avoided a 0-3 hole in their series and defeated the Rockets on their own home court, and the Jazz stunned the Thunder in a massive victory that out them up 2-1 in their ongoing series. But the biggest shock out of these playoffs are the Cavs whop lost badly to the Pacers last Friday and with them being down 2 games to 1, they now need a new game plan, prepare for more playoff action today see how the matchups are shaping up down below.

Question: What are going to discuss in our #TwitterTrend today? How about the fact that the Sean Manaea from the Oakland Athletics pitched a no-hitter against the Boston Red Sox last night. Manaea, who is a left-handed pitcher, is on the verge of writing his name in history books after becoming the first MLB pitcher to throw a no-hitter this season, and with a little help from the Athletics' offense which scored three runs, he might do so. The biggest sports news in Oakland currently was the Raiders playing one more season in the Oakland Coliseum this year before moving to Las Vegas, but all of that can wait now that people in Oakland are talking about the Athletics' no-hitter. Even the Red Sox, who might have been robbed of a hit last night my the umpires, were impressed by the A's and they have not lost in a ho-hitter in almost twenty-five years, so the hottest team in baseball were completely cooled off in a big way last night. This was also the Athletics' tenth no-hitter in franchise history, they have gotten two perfect games in the past, and they where somehow to keep all nine of the Red Sox's starters from getting even a single hit, and all of this could affect to the MLB Postseason in October. See what the baseball community is reacting to the no-hit gone wild with these big tweets.

Oh, Manaea, that feels good.

NO-HITTER: Sean Manaea became the first pitcher to throw a no-hitter against Boston in almost exactly 25 years, with an overturned call on the bases preserving the gem Saturday night in Oakland's 3-0 win over the sizzling Red Sox. http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2018/04/21/manaea-pitches-no-hitter-against-boston-red-sox/

Sean Manaea! 2 hours and 16 glorious minutes. That’s a classic movie time. Maybe we’ll re-air on @tcm and my worlds can come together. @Athletics

“He was throwing his changeup front door and down to lefties. They were all messed up over there. They had no idea." Sean Manaea didn't just toss a no-hitter against the Red Sox, he made them look downright foolish https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/04/21/sean-manaea-tosses-no-hitter-against-the-red-sox-in-dominant-fashion/

Jane Lee @JaneMLB
"I looked and saw that there was still a zero and I was like, whoa, weird.” Sean Manaea thought he was throwing a one-hitter en route to a no-hitter: https://www.mlb.com/athletics/news/sean-manaea-throws-12th-no-no-in-as-history/c-273262350?tcid=tw_article_273262350

Joe Serrato @joeserrato
would like to apologize to anyone I talk to for the rest of my life cause I probably won't be able to talk about anything other than Sean Manaea

Martin Gallegos @MartinJGallegos
Sean Manaea silenced any doubt with his incredible performance tonight. Saw how hard he worked in spring training to improve his overall game. Also, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. A's are in good shape with this guy at the top of the rotation.

This is the week where every changes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, once and for all. All week long we will have being discussing a few last details about Avengers: Infinity War starting with the Red Carpet World Premiere which will be livestreamed on Marvel's YouTube Channel. We'll also be able to see that stars of the movie will be making an appearance on many talk shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and Conan O'Brien, there'll be Avengers everywhere and we'll be able to see them before the big day on April 27th when the movie is released everywhere. But moving on to another Marvel film that is getting a lot of attention is Deadpool 2 and as you saw in the latest trailer, all bets are off when it comes to the sequel of one the most funniest action superhero films to ever be Rated-R. I don't know how they do, but Deadpool never runs out of joke or other ways to break the fourth wall, there will be new characters in this film who bring more action and more comedy than the previous film. Everything about the final Deadpool 2 trailer was outrageous to me and to other who saw it, I can't imagine what it would be like if he was apart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the world of comic book heroes would never be the same again. Our Web Choice playlist today will highlights the best reactions to the latest Deadpool 2 trailer.
