Today's UPDATES

As if it wasn't already official, the NBA Playoffs are well underway and just as we had expected, there's no going back. Max Sports can now confirm that the Warriors, Raptors, Sixers and Pelicans are leading by one game in their respective series, while the Spurs, Wizards, Heat and the Trail Blazers fell short, or at least some of them came close. Today, eight more teams begin to their Game 1 match-ups with the Celtics and Bucks going at it with the C's trying to overcome the injury bug, the Cavaliers and Pacers face off in a game that will begin LeBron's quest to reach the NBA Finals for eighth consecutive appearance. Then later tonight, the Thunder and Jazz are more than ready see who can capitalized on their high-powered offense, and the Rockets and Timberwolves have gone to thick and thin to make to the playoffs but it's likely that the former has this playoff series in the bag. The Stanley Cup Playoffs have been a little competitive with the Penguins and Flyers being the only teams whose series are tied at one, while Blue Jackets have a one game lead over the Capitals, and the Lighting, Bruins, Predators, Jets, Golden Knights and Sharks all lead their series by two games. Let's hope that today's playoff games are more competitive than ever, but for now, here's a look at what has transpired so far this weekend.

Universal Orlando Resort just keeps getting bigger and bigger, last week or later than the resort announced the names for its new hotels which will combine to form the upcoming Universal's Endless Summer Resort. Under construction in former Wet n' Wild Water Park area, the first hotel to open in this new resort will be the Surfside Inn and Suites in 2019, followed by the Dockside Inn and Suites in 2020. This year, Universal Studios Florida will open its newest attraction "Fast & Furious: Supercharged" on May 3rd, and then next year, Universal's Islands of Adventure will open a brand new Harry Potter as apart of the famous Wizarding World themed land. But there's a lot to come for Universal Orlando in the future, and this past week was living proof of that, the resort filed deeds with the Orange County showing the transfer of property to them from former owner: Stanley E. Thomas who has been putting up such a legal fuss about Universal not being able to build a theme park on the former Lockheed-Martin property. Luckily, Universal has simply opted to buy him out along with much of the remaining pieces of property that he owned all around the rumored expansion site. Some people have been looking forward to Universal build another theme park for years, and rumors are flying in that this fourth park will be anchored by many areas themed to Lord of the Rings, Jurassic World, Harry Potter's Ministry of Magic, and the upcoming Super Nintendo World. The latter of four was supposed to go to Universal Studios Florida, but those plans might have changed and so Nintendo World might be going to this rumored new park and Universal will try to open a Pokemon Park in 2020 that will open in the Woody Woodpecker's KidZone area; safest bet is that this new Pokemon park will take up half the space in KidZone and replace only a few attractions such as Barney and Curious George, leaving other rides like the Woodpecker coaster and E.T.
