Today's UPDATES

No more talk about Oscars So White, and no more talk about Envelope Gate, last night's 90th Annual Academy Awards were about one and only thing 90 years of incredible films being honored for the performances of the actors, actresses, directors, producers, screenwriters and many others. We will discuss the some of the best Oscars moments later on in this post, but for now, let's get into Max Sports news regarding the NCAA Tournament coming up next week. Aside from it being award season, it's also College Basketball tournament season as well. The schedule for the 2018 Division I Men's Basketball Tournament is as followed: with the Selection Sunday special next Sunday on CBS, the First Four Round on March 13-14 on TruTV, then the first and second rounds held from March 15th through the 18th, a few day after that it's the Sweet 16 on the 22nd and 23rd of this month and the Elite Eight on the 24th and 25th. It all leads up to the Final Four at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on March 31st and the National Championship taking place inside the dome on April 2nd. Needless to say that the Women's Basketball Tournament has picked a suitable venue for its Final Four and National Championship which will both be at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Find out about which team have automatically qualified for these tournaments tomorrow, and keep it here for a bundle of sports results from this past weekend.

Do you know what I hate the most about Thursdays, I finished the two posts that I have put out for Friday last Thursday and shortly then after, big news broke out on twitter, and I could not talk about it until today. It really bothers that there's always an interesting story that I can't talk about because I justed signed off of #KlicKNet, and now the news that I'm about t share is like a few days old, but still is best that the readers of #KlicKNet know that Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War will be opening in theaters everywhere a week earlier. Marvel Studios has a conversation with fellow Avengers veteran Robert Downey, Jr. about wanting to see the big movie as little early than on the previously schedule May 4th release date, and boy were in for a surprise, the Studio announced that Infinity War will be released in the United States on April 27, along with the international releases on April 25th through the 27th. But the joy didn't stop, Walt Disney Studios and Marvel revealed new release dates for upcoming films set to premiere between 2020 and 2023, and this led to some Marvel fans speculate which Superheroes could fill those empty Marvel release dates. This feels like two stories in one #TwitterTrend and that quite alright with me, and for the rest of you, it's a chance to see what tweeters' best reaction to these old news topics that people still give a D about today.
Marvel Studios @MarvelStudios
On a scale of one to infinity, how excited are you to see #InfinityWar on May 4th?

Robert Downey Jr @RobertDowneyJr
Any chance I could see it earlier?

Marvel Studios @MarvelStudios
Anything for you, Mr. Stark! How’s April 27th?

Robert Downey Jr @RobertDowneyJr
Great. With friends?
Marvel Studios @MarvelStudios
You mean these friends? @ChrisEvans @ChadwickBoseman @DanaiGurira @MarkRuffalo @DonCheadle @AnthonyMackie
Robert Downey Jr @RobertDowneyJr
The entire world?

Marvel Studios @MarvelStudios
That’s a FANTASTIC idea! Done.

Avengers: #InfinityWar in theaters everywhere April 27th.
Robert Downey Jr @RobertDowneyJr
You guys wanted it. You got it. See you there April 27th.

Chris Hewitt @ChrisHewitt
Hey now, wait a minute. We get it a week ahead of the US. That's the deal. That's the arrangement. YOU CAN'T DO THIS, MARVEL! YOU CAN'T!

Donna Dickens @MildlyAmused
*stunned admiration* THIS is how you move one of the biggest movies of the summer away from the OTHER biggest movie of the summer, both from your own studio. Bravo.

Geeks of Color @GeeksOfColor
‘Avengers: Infinity War’ release date moved up 1 week! Let’s go!! #InfinityWar
Brooks Barnes @brooksbarnesNYT
Good lord. Disney just pushed through a slate update stretching to 2023:
Jeff Sneider @TheInSneider
Don't know if this is a typo/oversight or not, but all of the Marvel movies in 2020 and 2022 will be available in 3D, but none in 2021. This will probably change, if it's even accurate, but maybe the industry is taking a year off from 3D in 2021. I know I avoid it when I can...

Ben Fritz @benfritz
Disney also just announced new movie dates through 2023, most of which are "untitled." Including three Marvel movies in 2021 and 2022. Also moved the live action "Mulan" to March 27, 2020.

ErikDavis @ErikDavis
Note this is in addition to two other 2020 dates already announced for May and November. It's 3 movies a year now for Marvel Studios moving forward

👑 King Trey Killmonger  👑 @terrance_may
'Mulan' getting pushed back is kinds disappointing but it happens and one of those 6 Marvel movies is definitely an untitled 'Black Panther' sequel.

zach @civiIswar
2020:gotg 3,dr strange 2,black widow

November 5th, 2021 had better be my Loki movie @ Marvel

It's time for an Oscars Edition of Web Choice, and what a memorable ceremony it was last night in the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The Shape of Water had the most nominations going into the event, a total number of thirteen, and the movie walked away with the most award wins of the night with just four. Those four being Best Picture, (FYI, Warren Beatty read the correct envelope right), Best Director for Guillermo del Toro, Best Original Score, and Best Production Design. Dunkirk got three awards in Best Film Editing, Best Sound Mixing and Best Sound Editing, so I guess the film was excellent at making up the best scenes and sounds which were made together by the incredible team of Christopher Nolan. Other notable wins were Coco winning Best Animated Film and Original Song, Sam Rockwell and Frances McDormand from Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, won Best Supporting Actor and Best Actress respectively, and Gary Oldman won Best Actor for the movie Darkest Hour which had also won Best Makeup and Hairstyling. Jordan Peele, the writer of Get Out had his first Oscar nomination last night and won his first ever Oscar for Bets Original Screenplay, Blade Runner 2049, despite good reviews and a low box office record, won two awards in Best Cinematography and Visual Effects and how about former NBA Star Kobe Bryant winning his first ever Oscar. He made an animated short with Glen Keane called Dear Basketball and it wont Best Animated Short Film last night, but you know what Bryant and Peele weren't the only black people dominating the Oscars stage, Mary J. Blige performed "Might River" from Mudbound and Miguel sang "Remember Me" from Coco with two white folks that I'm not going to include. But the biggest highlight might have been Jimmy Kimmel's stellar performance and he always found a way to make the audience smile and laugh. For more, we go now to the videos down below showcasing the best from the 2018 Oscars.
