Today's UPDATES
What a rough end of the week yesterday, after I had finished yesterday's post, my day was going great and I thought everything was going to be alright. Sure enough, I was right, things went great for me yesterday, which I can't for the teams who were eliminated from the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, Max Sports has the latest. The Cinderella Story of the UMBC Retrievers came to a bitter end last night when they were defeated by Kansas State who now move on to the Sweet 16 this coming Thursday, but UMBC can leave the tournament which their heads held high. This is because they became the first #16 Seed in history to beat a #1 Seed breaking a streak that went on since the #16 Seed was introduced to the tournament in 1985. Meanwhile, another #1 Seed went down last night, Xavier lost to Florida State, and the defending National Champions North Carolina Tar Heels were defeated as the #2 Seed in the West Region by the #7 Texas A&M. Nevada who are #7 in the South Region put on a shocker yesterday when it knocked off #2 Cincinnati and will now advance to the Sweet 16. ICYMI Alert: WrestleMania 35 will be held on April 7, 2019 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, that's right, The Grandest Stage of Them All is coming back to the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area after an incredible WrestleMania 29 in 2013, which was the my second favorite WrestleMania with the first being Mania 26 in 2010. WWE held a press conference last Friday that was streaming LIVE on YouTube, and they dished out the logo for next year's Mania, and as you just saw from up above this summary, it looks amazing. The gold, black and red work well together and at the top you can see what looks to be the Statue of Liberty's Crown, this gives the impression that the 35th Annual WrestleMania will be another great hit at MetLife and you can bet that there will be a NXT TakeOver in Brooklyn the night before. As we focus on this year's WrestleMania and NXT TakeOver in New Orleans, we take a look at the match card for both events.

Yesterday I mentioned that the New York Jets had made a big trade with the Indianapolis Colts last Saturday which allowed them to grab the No. 3 Overall Pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Well the reaction that piece of news was overwhelming, because most people, including New York Jets fans (like myself) that this is a great move by Gang Green. While both New York football teams are paired up together in the Draft (Giants #2 and Jets #3 respectively), the Jets are in great position to might themselves a very good quarterback that gould the team on a new path of success, and I've heard of all of the College Quarterbacks who are up for drafting this year. There's Josh Rosen of UCLA, Sam Darnold of USC, Josh Allen of Wyoming, and Baker Mayfield of Oklahoma, all perfectly talented and have potential to be franchise quarterbacks for certain teams. It's going to be though for the Jets to decide which one they should chose and looking at the résumés of each of these players, I say that the Jets will have to pick wisely when it comes to making right and best decision for them going forward. #TwitterTrend was able to find the Twitter Moment that tells you what the NFL community tells you about their reactions to the Jets-Colts Trade last Saturday, the Colts on the other hand are pleased they could do good business with the Jets and have overjoyed that they have enough draft picks as they can use.

There is no better potential marriage in football than Baker Mayfield and the New York Jets. 100% made for each other.

Paul Quin @Qu1ny
Rosen or mayfield, that's the only acceptable options

Dan Orlovsky @danorlovsky7

The #Jets trade makes a ton of sense. Remember, re-signing @JoshMcCown12 was for a VERY SPECIFIC REASON AND PERSON, and that person isn’t Teddy Bridgewater, Hackenberg or Petty. #NFLDraftNews #NFLDraft @nyjets @MMehtaNYDN @RichCimini @JetsFanMedia

Colts dealing out of No. 3 also means they are banking on Andrew Luck.
I know they essentially have no choice, but history could look back on this deal a lot differently if Class of 2018 QBs are special and Luck never returns to form.

New York Jets @nyjets
We've acquired the No. 3 overall pick from the @Colts for our No. 6 overall pick, 37th overall pick, 49th overall pick and our 2019 2nd round pick.

About that WrestleMania 35 press conference, WWE was able to share a few highlights from that event last Friday on their YouTube channel, and Web Choice has them all right here. Chairman of the WWE Vince McMahon and his daughter Stephanie were very excited to have WrestleMania return to the New York-New Jersey area, the place that the WWE has called for many many years. Triple had bit of a short confrontation with WWE's newest signee Ronda Rousey who look forward to wrestling in front of 80,000 plus fans at MetLife Stadium come next year! John Cena, who is challenging the Undertaker to this year's WrestleMania in New Orleans, shared a kiss with his soon-to-be wife Nikki Bella and The New Day closed out the press conference with a plattler of delicious pancakes. So all and all, I will be counting down the months as to when WrestleMania 35 hits my neck of the woods and I cannot wait to see how WWE will honor 35 Years of WrestleMania, but for now here are last Friday's press conference highlights, as promised.
