Today's UPDATES
The day is almost here, the day we reach 1,000 posts, and the celebration will be something to look forward to. Today is Post #999 and while we may not have some big Max Sports news, I can tell you that this Sunday's WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is going to be off the charts fun. We get two first time matches, one: an all-men's Elimination Chamber match featuring seven competitors, and two: an all-women's Elimination Chamber match so hopefully we WWE fans will not be disappointed this Sunday. Either Braun Strowman, Elias, Finn Balor, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and The Miz will be come the #1 Contender for the Universal Championship and face the Beast of Suplex City Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34, rumors are flying around about the winner of the 7-Man Chamber match and it could be a no-brainer of just who it could be. As for the Women's Chamber match, six of the best out of the Raw Women's Locker Room will enter the large structure and go to war for the Raw Women's Championship, but Alexa Bliss is not too happy to defend the title, especially with five other women coming after her. However, Alexa has been having some backup in Mickie James lately, so we'll see how that effects the outcome of the women's match. Meanwhile, the NBA season doesn't resume until tomorrow, so I'm serving up the NBA Schedule for the upcoming weekend , plus the results of last night's NHL games are in.

For today's #TwitterTrend, Students of Stoneman Douglas High School have grown tired of the fact that nobody, not even the president will do anything whenever there's a mass shooting, like the one that took place at their school last week. Several survivors have criticized the response, and have asked politicians to get something done to prevent more children from dying in shootings rather than just offer condolences, and guess what, they plan to take matter into their own hands by demanding tighter gun control as a course of action. Survivor Emma González gave a speech last week saying that she was tired of all the "thoughts and prayers" from the government and the President and called them "B.S." So way a go to all those students who are speaking up for themselves, for if my high school and I had been in the same situation as they are right now, we would stand up and take action as a team of brave souls. The #NeverAgain movement has gained some big attention now, some student survivors have formed a group called Never Again MSD who want legislative action from lawmakers to prevent similar shootings in the future, they've even held a rally in Fort Lauderdale, Florida which had attracted hundreds of supporters. But it won't stop there, they have also planned a "March for Our Lives" that will take in Washington, D.C. on March 24th as a nationwide student demonstration, this makes me even more proud of these brave students who want something finally done in America as much as the rest of the country. To see how students are taking action, we have a ton of tweets that offer up what students are doing in this moment of crisis and how they can send a message to the White House and Congress.
