I have given it a lot of thought and it disgust me to know that seventeen people are dead and fourteen more are injured and all because of a 19-year-old young man decided to cause a mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. We could go back and remind ourselves all the others shootings that have occured in the past few years, but then we'll stop and realize that there's a never ending pattern to these violence acts, almost as if mass shooting have become a new trend in the world and that is something we cannot live with. Not one single thing has changed in the aftermath of the shootings that we have discuss on this blog, and we have grieve over such tragedies, and what difference does it make, there could a mass shooting year after year after year and until finally, we decide to take action and do to something about, but by that time it will already be to late for others have lost everything. I am very saddened by the events of yesterday and they're already call it a "Valentine's Day Massacre" and "Deadly School Ramage", those are not some great headlines, they are a message, constant reminder of the world and the country and we live in now. Holding another gun control debate is not what we need right now, saying that we're going to get rid of guns and actually doing it are two different things, but the latter makes a whole lot of sense. As a former High School student who graduated from Thomas A. Edison Career and Technical Education, I can feel as if I know what the students of Douglas High could be going through, they were frightened, confused and very young in their age, some of them caught the chaos on video with their phones and you might see will be too hard to watch. When students from differents schools go back to learn, they will learn just how critical the situation was in Parkland, for at 2:40PM, when the school was near dismissal, staff and students heard gunfire and enacted a "code red" lockdown. The shooter identified as Nikolas Cruz sounded the fire alarm to lure people out of their classrooms. he was wearing a gas mask and carrying smokes while opening fire on countless people, he was able to escape by blending in with students fleeing the school before being tracked by school security camera recordings and arrested without incident. So the shooter is in custody as we speak and I personally hope that he gets everything he deserves for taking the lives of 17 people; so now you have heard what I have to say, thanks to #TwitterTrend, we turn over now to people who deeply affected by what was one of the world's deadliest school massacres and the deadliest high school shooting in modern U.S. history.

There needs to be a march on Washington DC of a non-stop demand for gun safety every day of the week until Congress does it. Children murdered needs to be the line crossed. Screw calling. Show them our outrage over what happened. #ParklandSchoolShooting

Today, I will move items from the closet in my classroom to make more space for 9 year olds to hide.  At our next lockdown drill, I will again have to answer: “Miss, what’s more likely? A tornado or a school shooting?” This should not be normal. #ParklandSchoolShooting

You can't call yourselves a "pro-life party" when kids get shot down in America's public schools and you do nothing to stop it. #GunReformNow #ParklandSchoolShooting

To all parents of school age children, who are still doing nothing about #GunReformNow, who still don't get that the AR-15 is the problem and think we should arm teachers to protect kids-WHY DO I CARE MORE ABOUT YOUR CHILDREN THAN YOU DO? #NRABloodMoney #ParklandSchoolShooting

These kids of parkland woke up this morning thinking about the physics homework they didn’t do. Or the person they last kissed. But now 18 of them are dead. One day it could be our school. I want to worry about my APUSH homework. Not my life. #ParklandSchoolShooting

Jess @jessicarudnicki
You're praying for the victims @realDonaldTrump? How about you stop putting children in a position where they become the victims. Gun control needs to happen NOW.

The word 'shooting' is sickening. Put 'mass' before it, it's heartbreaking. Put 'school' before that, it's soul-crushing. Put 'another' before that and it's unforgivable. #ParklandSchoolShooting #Parkland

It’s embarrassing that these events still occur full stop. Further to this embarrassment, a teenager is speaking out to highlight this as an ongoing problem and yet the people that make these decisions are blinded by their own ignorance #ParklandSchoolShooting

#ParklandSchoolShooting The sheriff, the attorney general and the governor all stood at a press conference with blood on their hands, and said they would support the victims and their families. They are responsible for these killings.

My eyes are swollen from crying. My ️ is so incredibly broken. As I dropped my son off at school, I sat in my car and watched him until he disappeared from my sight into his school. Like many parents did yesterday. The last time they saw them. Forever. #ParklandSchoolShooting

Don't tell me we don't need gun control after 300 schools have been shot up since 2013. That's roughly 1 per week. Ridiculous. #ParklandSchoolShooting

What are you going to do about it. Praying is not enough. Parents of victims don't want your prayers they want actions. #guncontrol #ParklandSchoolSHooting

If there were a movement as powerful as #MeToo behind gun control, there wouldn't be 18 school shootings in 45 days. #ParklandSchoolShooting

I'm terribly sorry to all the families that lost someone in yesterday's shooting.
I hope you all are safe now.
I know a tweet can't do anything, but I hope the shooter can finally get the justice he deserves.

I wish we could move on from yesterday and focus on today and tomorrow and that will be a bit of a challenge, as a country, we all have one thing in common: we all want the violence to stop. Just stop the violence for one moment is all we ask for, we can't recognize this once good country we live in anymore, and after yesterday, the best way to move past it is to find some sort of joy in the world. Tonight, I'm going to Manhattan for the very first showing of Marvel Studios' Black Panther which is set to be one of the biggest birthday gifts that I have ever received in my life. On a higher note from yesterday, The CW announced that its broadcast television network will add an extra two hours of original programming from 8PM - 10PM on Sunday Nights beginning in the 2018-19 television season this Fall. This is very great news because The CW currently airs 10 hours of programming Mondays-Fridays, some of you may know that when the network first launched in 2006, it had aired shows on Sundays, until it handed over Sunday programming to local affiliate station in 2009. Nine years, it seems like the right time to bring back Sunday Night on The CW, I for one cannot wait to how they will compete with many Sunday shows like NBC's Sunday Night Football, this is even bigger than Fox acquiring the rights to Thursday Night Football starting this Fall and in wake of Disney buying most the assets of 21st Century Fox. With The CW reclaiming Sunday Nights, it has been said that we could see fewer CW shows canceled this season and new ones added next season. Fun fact: The WB's Charmed move to Sundays beginning in its fifth season and would air three more seasons on Sundays after that until its very last episode, so with a Charmed reboot in the works by The CW, it would be a perfect fit for new Sunday lineup. We'll see what happens as this story develops, but Web Choice was able to find just two news sources were able to speak their minds on about it.
