Today's UPDATES

Is it just me or does the world feels different today than it usual does. Believe it or not, things are going to different in the coming future and why, you're find out a little bit later in this post. First we need to get through our daily Max Sports results, nothing important happened last night expect for the fact that WWE's NXT program from the WWE Network aired on the USA Network for the first time in history. The USA Network is home to Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live, and reason that they show NXT on this channel is because of WWE Week on USA, where WWE programming runs on the channel for four nights straight during the Holiday season. Meanwhile in the NFL, we are waiting impatiently for Week 15 to start and since we've already talked about what's at stake in the AFC conference, we ought to do the same for the NFC. I did mention yesterday that the Minnesota Vikings needed to win another game to be Division Champions and secure a spot in the Playoffs, but they're chances of taking the #1 Seed in the NFC are a little slim to none. The Philadelphia Eagles need a win and a Vikings in order to gain a first-round bye and home field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs, the LA Rams, as I said before, need four teams to lose and just one win to get into the playoffs. Those four teams being the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons, and New Orleans Saints, so it will be difficult for the Rams because there's a slight chance that all of these teams will lose on Sunday. Here's another look at the schedule for Week 15 and more from other sports.

We are entering a new age, a new beginning, and a new era in Film and TV Entertainment. This morning, The Walt Disney Company finally put together an acquisition deal to buy the assets of 21st Century Fox for $52.4 billion dollars including assumption of debt. According to deadline.com, Disney has gained "Fox’s prolific film and television studios, its FX and National Geographic cable networks, Fox’s regional sports networks, its 39% stake in U.K. satellite television provider Sky and its international cable networks, including Star India." The Walt Disney Company's own website has said in a statement made today that "21st Century Fox will separate the Fox Broadcasting network and stations, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, FS1, FS2 and Big Ten Network into a newly listed company that will be spun off to its shareholders." As for Disney, they will have the critically acclaimed film production businesses, including 20th Century Fox, Fox Searchlight Pictures and Fox 2000, the studios behind none other than Avatar, X-Men, Fantastic Four Deadpool, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Hidden Figures, Gone Girl, The Shape of Water and The Martian. Within the TV Division, Disney gets 20th Century Fox Television, FX Productions and Fox21, which means that shows like The Simpsons (who by the way predicted that something like this would happen), The Americans, This Is Us, Modern Family will be coming to Disney, along with a lot others. Fox’s interests in Hulu, Sky plc, Tata Sky and Endemol Shine Group also goes to the House of Mouse, and to cap it all off, Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company Robert Iger has announced that he will remain with company through 2021. We're going to talk about this acquisition later on in the post, but first, the #TwitterTrend train is coming through the station with loads and loads of tweets showing you the reactions of other business and fans of both Disney and Fox.

In classic Russo Brothers fashion, it turns out they were accounting for Disney acquiring Fox the whole time! Here's what the Wakanda scene in Infinity War REALLY looks like:

Here's what Disney will own with the 20th Century Fox acquisition

This deal is so big that it's a really big deal, Robert Iger has said that “The acquisition of this stellar collection of businesses from 21st Century Fox reflects the increasing consumer demand for a rich diversity of entertainment experiences that are more compelling, accessible and convenient than ever before, We’re honored and grateful that Rupert Murdoch has entrusted us with the future of businesses he spent a lifetime building, and we’re excited about this extraordinary opportunity to significantly increase our portfolio of well-loved franchises and branded content to greatly enhance our growing direct-to-consumer offerings. The deal will also substantially expand our international reach, allowing us to offer world-class storytelling and innovative distribution platforms to more consumers in key markets around the world.” The biggest thing of about this agreement is that it also provides Disney with the opportunity to reunite the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Deadpool with the Marvel family under one roof and create richer, more complex worlds of inter-related characters and stories that we the Marvel fanbase love so much. Then there's Avatar and the promise of more expanding opportunities for consumers to watch and experience storytelling within the extraordinary fantasy world and guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort know what the experience is like when step into Pandora—The World of Avatar, a new land that opened earlier this year. Finally, this will help Disney to create its own online streaming service coming in 2019 that is to compete with Netflix, for they'll have so much original content to offer and so many ideas that they'll never run out of. The news is breaking out across YouTube as we speak and Web Choice was able to catch a few from different news outlets like ABC whose parent company is Walt Disney.
