Today's UPDATES
The unthinkable has happened, the New England Patriots have lost to the Miami Dolphins, meaning that their road game winning streak is over. More importantly, the Patriots find themselves not the #1 Seed in the AFC Conference, that's a big ouch because now they have to go to Pittsburgh next week to take on the Steelers in match that will a lot of drama and many playoff implications. A 27-20 loss to Dolphins was the least of their worries, I think the big reason the Patriots lost is because they were without Rob Gronkowski who was suspended for one game. Gronkowski is part of the glue that holds the Patriots' offense together as a whole, so not having him around really messed up the Patriots' chance of catching with the Steelers. In the NFC Conference, the Minnesota Vikings messed up a good chance last Sunday to win their division and remain on top of the NFC, but fell short to Carolina Panthers, this allowed the Philadelphia Eagles are top and it will take everything the Vikings to get back in it. With the NFL regular season wining down, Max Sports remains on high alert for any new updates whenever they break out, here some right now.

Today's #TwitterTrend is about yesterday when we spoke heavily about the bombing at the Port Authority Terminal in Manhattan, New York. Details have come in that the preparator was 27-year-old Akayed Ullah who they has lived in Brooklyn for some time now. He's been charged with making a terroristic threat, supporting an act of terrorism, and criminal possession of a weapon, but as it turns out his motives weren't all what we expected them to be. Apparently, he claimed to be inspired by the Islamic State and chose the hallway of Port Authority where he detonated the pipe bomb because of its holiday-themed posters. Looks like we have a Christmas Scrooge in custody who didn't really put much of a dent in New York City like other terrorist have done in the past, many New Yorkers did exactly what I said they would do, stand stall and stay strong. People went along with their day, not in a massive panic as the only person that the bomber severely injured was himself and the IS group has not claimed him as a member. See the tweets people have been sending online that will explain their thoughts at this failed and lame attempt at terrorism.

Rather than a “soldier
of the caliphate” or any other such emissary from the apocalypse, Akayed Ullah
seems like something very familiar to people in New York and big cities around
the world: a failed criminal. https://interc.pt/2nUoxMm by @mazmhussain

4) Despite reports that
Akayed Ullah performed the attack in #NewYork’s #PortAuthority in the name of
#ISIS, the group has yet to endorse him as one of its "soldiers"
(though it has little reason not to at this point)

Jimmy Kimmel returned to his ABC show last night after a week off from taking care of his infant son Billy. While Chris Pratt, Tracee Ellis Ross, Neil Patrick Harris & Melissa McCarthy were making us laugh last week, Kimmel was in the hospital for his son's second heart surgery, this is, as you know, because of heart disease that Billy when he was born. It made Kimmel very emotional on his show for many times, but I think that last night, we got to see a sign of joy and relief from the ABC late night host who was happy to bring his son along with for the opening monologue for Jimmy Kimmel Live, and I was very surprised and happy to see them together and soon Kimmel began to speak about health care again. He spoke that a program called CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) was able to save his son's life, but is now in serious need of funding because Congress recently failed to approve of it. For more, check out the video down below, submitted for the approval of Web Choice, that shows Jimmy Kimmel and his now healthy son Billy with a healthy father-son relationship, plus Jack Black talks about his relationship with his own father.
