#fakeTV: Farewell 2017

#fakeTV FAREWELL 2017

What made 2017 so special? Was it the Inauguration of President "He Who Must Not Be Named", was it the closing dramas of Super Bowl LI and the 89th Academy Awards, or the Women's March in Washington D.C, or was it the number of sexual harassment issues that no one were expecting? Could it have been the saddest moments in the world like the Manchester Bombing, the horrific hurricanes that tore apart Houston, Florida and Puerto Rico, or the massive shooting in Las Vegas that killed nearly sixty people? There was a ton of other political ups and downs such as the firings of some many people in President's Cabinet, the Russian Scandal, the attempts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, Alabama electing a Democratic Senator for the first time in two decades, and just this week the Republican Party passed the Tax Cut and Jobs Act. Some lighter and much more fun moments happened this like the Houston Astros winning the World Series for the first time in franchise history, Los Angeles announced it would be host the Summer Olympics Games in 2028, The Walt Disney Company buying most the assets of 21st Century Fox, and let's not forget about the Solar Eclipse and the Blockbuster movies who made us laugh, cry, scream and shook us to our core like Wonder Woman, Beauty and the Beast, Get Out and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It doesn't matter what really made 2017 so special, what matters is that you made this year your year, you made it through thick and thin despite all the chaos in the world and for you deserve a massive thumbs up. Today we going through some of the best stories of the year with #KlicKNet's Final Top Ten list as you can well imagine that there had to be only ten moments this year that made 2017 what it was.

#10: DACA Supporters protested at the White House over the cancellation of this program.

#09: Sexual conduct scandals were made about many men and their deluge of allegations.

#08: Many as 1,000 people died in Puerto Rico due to Hurricane Maria hitting the country.

#07: A terrorist bombing occured in Manchester, England at an Ariana Grande concert.

#06: The issues between the President and North Korean leader nearly ignited nuclear war.

#05: Majority Republicans in Congress failed to repeal Obamacare and form a replacement.

#04: Hurricane Harvey made landfall last August, putting much of Houston, TX underwater.

#03: For the first time in over 99 years, a solar eclipse crossed the US from coast to coast.

#02: 58 people died in Vegas in the most deadliest mass shooting in modern US history.

#01: Hurricane Irma, the strongest recorded storm ever had destroyed thousands of homes.

For our last #fakeTV story of the year, I'm bringing you part two of "What If: The Alternatives." Last week, I explained other possible ways for a Nickelodeon theme land to appear in Universal Orlando Resort, my idea to get rid of the Marvel Superhero Island at Islands of seemed a bit too much, as it would have allow Walt Disney World Resort of house Marvel attractions in its theme parks. Now since the Guardians of the Galaxy are coming to Epcot during the Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary, it would be neat if they created a Guardians themed land and here's how I think it should go. If approved, then the rumored hotel located at the entrance of Epcot would be on the site of the bus parking lot near The Land and Seas pavilions and feature a monorail that connects the new resort to the Guardians Land, an area for poolside, bar and entertainment. The guest rooms will be housed in three towers with different names but similar design, and I chose to model them after the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando. At the center of the hotel structure would be a Nova Headquarters tower from the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie would give guests an immersive experience much like the upcoming Star Wars Hotel that is set open along with the Galaxy's Edge area coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Like the Loews Royal Pacific, the rooms for the Nova Corps resort would have 1,000 rooms in it and there would be major restaurants and gaming areas in the Nova Tower, pulse rooftop views from the tower so guest can see the fireworks display at Epcot.
Welcome to "Xandar - A Guardians of the Galaxy Adventure"

Now on to the other themed land which I have taken upon myself to "Xandar - A Guardians of the Galaxy Adventure" and it could be set up to be like either Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley areas Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter. On the right hand side of the upcoming Guardians roller coaster would be a second Guardians ride and it could be similar to the Avatar Flight Passage at Animal Kingdom or Toy Story Mania at Hollywood Studios. I couldn't think of a third attraction for the site, so I decided that the Xandar could use a dinning and shopping area, and I believe that the best idea for it would to make it Diagon Alley and have almost the same size scale as Ikspiari, shopping, dining, and entertainment complex over at the Tokyo Disney Resort. The theme for this area would be that it takes place on Nowhere, the mining colony in Guardians Vol. 1 or the Iron Lotus fromContraxia, the cold and icy planet where inhabitants come to relax in Guardians Vol. 2. Obviously, Contraxia's Iron Lotus sounds much nicer and thrown in a little Diagon Alley and Ikspiari in it, you'll get an immverise complex for eating, shopping, entertainment and featured characters from the movies. The entire land could along with the new coaster in 2021 and then the Nova Corps Resort would open the following year in 2022. For more on my vision, I've put another picture together to help everyone understand.
A Closer at Xandar and the complex behind the Coaster Building site.
The outlook at the Iron Lotus looks much better than what's at Knowhere.
Ikspiari is much like Disney Springs, Disney Village and Downtown Disney

That's your Celebrity of the Day.............

Before we all head off for the Christmas break, I want to take this time as my final thoughts of  2017. In someways this has been one of my best and worst years as I can remember, let went to places that i have never been before and despite all the family drama I've been dealing with at home right now, I know I wasn't alone when I had to face my own problems this year. I also know that 2018 will be another chapter in my life and everyone else's lives with country in disarray, we can all go into the new year with a fresher start to everything around. 2017 will be remember as the year that the country was turned upside down in the craziest way possible, but I'm really looking forward to what exactly 2018 will bring, hopefully there will be a lot more sanity, love and respect to one another. With all of that being said, thank you all year round for exploring #KlicKNet, I'll be back January 8th with a new look to the blog, one thing I can tell you is that once we get things started again, I'll be on for four days a week for with The InZane Club on hiatus and no other fake shows in the works, I'm be taking time off from #fakeTV Friday until I decide when it should come back.
