Today's UPDATES

Happy Thursday, things are getting good this month with Thanksgiving in just a few weeks time, the NFL is at the midway point of its 2017 Season and the NBA has been a different kind of NBA with the start of the season being a real rocky one for some teams. Yesterday, a new update on the WWE Survivor Series match card was made and SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon announced that John Cena would be the fifth and final member of Team SmackDown and will Shane, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura to go up against Team Raw's Kurt Angle, Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and Jason Jordan in the Men's Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match. With a power pack line up of the best superstars and also the highly anticipated NXT TakeOver: WarGames, the WWE looks to own the whole weekend of November 18 to 19 in Houston, Texas, but before we can get there, Max Sports keeps you once again updated with other sports games and results.

For our #TwitterTrend today, we are going to continue to talk WWE. As you may all already know, AJ Styles won the WWE Championship on SmackDown Live in Manchester, England, ending the reign of Jinder Mahal in the process. This win means that Styles will take on The Beast of Suplex City and the Universal Champion of Monday Night Raw Brock Lesnar in what has to be the biggest match in Survivor Series history. It's the dream match that everyone wanted in over a decade and on November 19th, these two astounding World Champions will collide and the reaction to this has been overwhelming, but in a good way. Nobody liked the idea of Jinder Mahal vs Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, and Mahal's reign as WWE Champion was considered to be one of the worst in WWE history, thanks to AJ Styles win on Tuesday, that all changes with the biggest Superstars of both Raw and SmackDown, the idea of fantasy warfare should be brought back up again for this could top off last year's Survivor Series which was centered on the in-ring return of Goldberg. Smackdown was recorded as live televised event in the United Kingdom, so some WWE fans knew what was gonna happen before it was seen on screen, and that's where the reaction comes in which can only be contained in these past tweets.

Nah, Survivor Series is hearby fucking lit.

Donald Wood @Donald_Wood
That was the best match of Jinder Mahal’s career. AJ Styles is a wrestling god. The Jinder experiment failed and Styles was here to save us on #SDLive. So excited for Brock Lesnar v Styles at #SurvivorSeries.

Riz. @johncenaAm
AJ Styles became the first superstar in 54 years to win the WWE Title outside of America

Italo Santana @BulletClubItal
Phenomenal... #SDLive

Justin LaBar @JustinLaBar
Great pop for AJ Styles. Hard worker. Really good performer. What of his other than forearm does Brock Lesnar sell? But I'm intrigued to see it. #SDLive

Rumble Ramble @TheRumbleRamble
The fans chanting "AJ Styles" as #SDLive goes off the air is the icing on the cake. What a moment.

Christian MaRAWcle @MaracleMan
Many cons in AJ Styles's WWE Title victory:
- More storyline hype made a complete waste of time (story is important, I was taught)
- This just gives Brock Lesnar an EASIER victory at #SurvivorSeries.

There's a pro, though: Jinder will NOT get killed. AJ will get killed instead!

Vaughn Johnson @VaughnMJohnson
What a roller coaster day. AJ Styles wins the WWE championship. Minutes later we find out Roy Halladay met his untimely demise and the night ends with #NatureBoy, which was an emotional roller coaster in its own right. Damn.
