Today's UPDATES

Happy Columbus Day, but yesterday was the craziest Sunday in sports I have ever experienced, so I now present a Max Sports rundown. To get a few things out the way, the 2017 NFL Season has been a real shocker so far, don't believe me, then explain to me why the New York Giants are 0-5 to start the season. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and my New York Jets who all have a 3-2 record are now tied for first place in the AFC East Division, but things can change in an instant because next Sunday it's the Jets vs the Patriots and the Bills have a bye week. Moving on to MLB Postseason, the Cleveland Indians and Houston Astros are on the verge of meeting each other in the American League Championship Series, but the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox are very much alive in their respective Division Series at the moment . The Los Angeles Dodgers are close things out tonight with just one more win over the Arizona Diamondbacks, and it looks like we've got a series between the Chicago Cbs and Washington Nationals are are tied at one game a piece. Finally, when it comes to the WWE, anything can happen, with that being said, you will not believe has transpired in the Main Event of Hell in a Cell last night, it looked like Shane McMahon was going to end Kevin Owens by throwing himself off the top of the cell and land right on top of Kevin. I saw the ending of the match and I kept telling myself if Shane missed this he's done for, turns out I was right unfortunately, Kevin Owens moved out of the way, with the help of SAMI ZAYN who showed up outta nowhere. Then to make things even more crazy, Zayn helped Owens get the pinfall victory over Shane and that was that. To be personal, I thought I knew who Sami Zayn really was, apparently I don't, I fought he would never ever help a man like his former best friend Kevin Owens after the insane battles these two have been through, I deserve an explanation much as everyone else in the WWE Universe and we're sure to get it this Tuesday on SmackDown Live.

Today's #TwitterTrend is about an idea, the idea of the New York Jets having a 3-2 record to start the 2017 NFL Season is surreal enough, but the fact that they are tied with the Bills and Patriots is even more crazy. Many had predicted that the Jets would be one of the worst teams in the NFL, but that has not been the case thus far, by winning three straight games they've quickly become one of the league's biggest surprises. Now the question is, can the New York Jets keep up this momentum going forward into the season. This past off season, the Jets biggest top gun Brandon Marshall was sent to the New York Giants and let me just say that that was the biggest mistake he'd ever made in his career. The Giants are 0-5 after losing to the Los Angeles Chargers yesterday afternoon and have lost Brandon Marshall and Odell Beckham Jr. in the process due to injury, meanwhile, the Jets have found some strength in its team of young players and cannot make a mistake very step of the way this season from now on. So what do other people have to say about this surprising start by Gang Green, check it out for yourself.

Five games deep, the New York Giants are 3 games behind the New York Jets. Unbelievable.

Jets tied for 1st place....what a world we live in!

Paul McGrath @WesterosBatman
Brandon Marshall asked to be released by the Jets. Went to the Giants to play for a "contender".
Jets 3-2.
Giants 0-5.

What's more amazing: that the Giants season is over before the Yankees, or that the Jets season isn't?

Jason Cole @JasonCole62
So the New York team that might draft a QB No. 1 overall could be the Giants and not the Jets?

Jerry Carino @NJHoopsHaven
The Jets are 3-2.
I wouldn't be more surprised if I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet.
Sports.

Tonight, The CW's Super Season begins, while other networks (like CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX) have rolled out the premieres of their shows, The CW. It all starts tonight. Monday, October 9th with the season premiere of Supergirl, followed by the series premiere of the new military drama Valor. For the rest of the week we have, The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow tomorrow, we know that Barry Allen will be somewhat reborn after spending months in the speed force and the Legends have a lot of work to do after breaking the timeline in a desperate move to stop the Legion of Doom last season. On Wednesday, it's two show I am very looking forward, Riverdale and Dynasty, one is filled with mystery as to who shot Archie's dad, the other series is about family drama at its best as wealth, greed, and power comes into play. On Thursday, Supernatural gets gets ready for its unlucky thirteenth season, then, after months of speculation,we find out what really happened on the island of Lian Yu in the sixth season of Arrow. Finally on Friday, its a full night of comedy and drama crammed into two hours, with fan favorites Crazy Ex Girlfriend and Jane the Virgin looking to make  a run on Friday nights.
