Today's UPDATES

Game 2, how about Game 2 of the World Series? The Houston Astros did want it has not done before, win their first World Series game in franchise history, as you may remember they were swept by the Chicago White Sox in their previous appearance in the 2005 series. Max Sports has a full rundown of last night: The Astros could have relied on their best Justin Verlander to carry them to victory, but it was the power of the home run ball that helped them out. Both the Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers set a new record for combined home runs in a single World Series game with eight home runs, this was the first time in MLB history, either regular season or post-season, that five home runs were hit in extra innings. Now the Astros scored first in the third inning thanks to Alex Bergman, but the Dodgers struck back in the fifth when Joc Pederson tied the game with a solo home run, and then in the sixth, Corey Seager hit a two-run home run, giving the Dodgers a 3-1 lead. The Astros were get a run in the eighth and another in the ninth thanks to Marwin González's home run which tied the game at 3. Extra Innings soon became a shootout, the Astros shocked everyone at Dodgers Stadium with two home runs in the 10th, but the Dodgers respond by re-tying the game with two runs, one of which was a homer by Yasiel Puig. In the 11th, the Astros shocked everyone again with a two tun homer by George Springer, and despite Charlie Culberson hitting a you-know-what in the bottom of the 11th, the Astros survived Game 2 with the final score being 7-6. So what will Game 3 in Houston bring in this Wild West World Series, the Astros are undefeated on their home field and it took everything they to end the Dodgers' home winning streak and tying the series at one game a piece, but it you thought Game 2 was crazy, wait until you see these other game and sporting results.

There in the news that is nothing that kept secret about the United States anymore, and with the country going through such things as Scandals and inappropriate situations, I think we all need an lighter approach of what the everyday news brings us. We are heading into the last weekend of October and you know what I haven't heard any from my sister about Freight Fest at Six Flags Great Adventure, so maybe she'll have something for me this weekend sooner than I think. As for the news, here's this week's Top Ten list focusing on the lighter side of things as I said before.
(#10) S.W.A.T. starring Shemar Moore premieres next Thursday, Nov. 2 at 10PM on CBS.

(#09) A Bad Boys Spinoff TV Series with Gabrielle Union in currently the works right now.

(#08) Senator Jeff Flake announced to congress that we will not seek re-election in 2018.

(#07) Jigsaw starring Matt Passmore and Laura Vandervoort opens in theaters tomorrow.

(#06) Microsoft plans to stop manufacturing Kinect systems for its XBOX gaming consoles.

(#05) Disney Channel revealed its first openly gay character coming to the show Andi Mack.

(#04) Marvel/Netflix announced that Vincent D'Onofrio would return in Daredevil Season 3.

(#03) Miami Dolphins take on Baltimore Ravens tonight in Thursday Night Football on CBS.

(#02) Disneyland Resort announced to construct a new hotel set to completed in 2021.

(#01) The 2017 World Series is tied at 1-1 after the Astros 7-6 victory in eleven innings.

For our Web Choice topic, I want to explain why I put in Disneyland Resort in the Top Ten, list, it's because this story is very important to some park goers of Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Yesterday it was revealed that the Eastern Gateway project for Disneyland has been scrapped for good, Disney had been facing several hurdles with the neighboring businesses along Harbor Boulevard protesting and feared that they fight lose foot traffic and see a decline in business. The City Council of Anaheim then dismantled the city’s planning commission and later reassembled the project which would have built “a seven-story, 6,900 spot parking structure, a new transportation hub with security screening and a pedestrian bridge to get across to Disneyland." So now, Disney plans to open a new Four Diamond hotel for the first time in nearly two decades and is set to open in 2021, this hotel will transform the west end of the Downtown Disney District and anchor a new gateway to Disneyland Resort. The new Western Gateway project will also include a new, 6-story, 6,500-spot parking structure on the Pinocchio Lot that will be ready in time for the 2019 Opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. It has been said that the new lot would be next to the 10,000-spot Mickey and Friends parking structure and knowing how crazy parking will be when Star Wars: Galaxy Edge opens, Disneyland Resort need a quick solution to its problem. Now I can tell you that the new hotel will be over 700 rooms, it will be connected to other three official Disney hotels of the resort through gardens and walkways, the ground level will include shops and restaurants, and an expansive landscaping plaza completed with water elemental features that will create a resort oasis. All and all, this is going to be fantastic for many different reason, one of which is that the new Marvel themed land coming to Disney California Adventure will have some more focus on sooner rather than later.
