Today's UPDATES

Man oh man! What a weekend it was, it was a weekend full of unexpected possibilities and outcomes. Starting with the American League Championship Series, the New York Yankees had only one job to do, win and they're in the World Series, the Houston Astros had two jobs to do which were to win two straight to stay alive in the MLB Postseason. The Astros were able to overpower the Yankees in offense and defeated them in Games 6 and 7, meaning that they remain undefeated at Home in this postseason, but more importantly this means they will go to the World Series for the first time in 12 years as winners of the AL Pennant. Tomorrow, Houston meets Hollywood in the form of the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of the World Series, these two teams have never faced each other in the World Series before or have faced each other in the regular season this year, but they each have their own agenda of winning. If Houston wins, it would be a storybook dream come true after the City of Houston went through Hurricane Harvey, if Los Angeles wins, they would continue the trend of California teams winning a Championship which started with the Golden State Warriors. Moving on to wrestling, last Friday the WWE had breaking news of a viral infection leaving WWE Superstars Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt unable to compete last night at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs. Luckily, they were able to find two replacements in time for the pay-per-view which had two blockbuster matches, first, The Demon of Monday Night Raw Finn Balor took on SmackDown Live's AJ Styles in a battle of Club Leaders, and let me just say, the match was Too Sweet inside and out. Then, Kurt Angle made his trumpet return to the ring, taking Roman Reigns' place in the 5-on-3 Handicap TLC match and siding with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose who together took out The Miz, Braun Strowman, Kane, Cesaro and Sheamus out like garbage, almost literally. After an incredible weekend, Max Sports has offered up all of the game results every type of sports out there.

For today's #TwitterTrend, If you are looking for some non sporty news, then you will be happy to know that Justin Timberlake will be headlining the Super Bowl LII Halftime Show. It takes place at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota and it will be Timberlake's third performance at the on the Super Bowl stage having performing at Super Bowl XXXV with N'SYNC and Super Bowl XXXVIII with Janet Jackson. This year's Halftime show at Super Bowl LI was off the chains when Lady Gaga dived off the stage and disappeared into the night, and who could forget the Black Eyed Peas' performance in 2011, Madonna in 2012, Beyoncรฉ in 2013, Bruno in 2014, and Katy Perry and the dancing sharks in 2015. I can't imagine what we are going to see from Justin Timberlake next year in 2018, but first we have to get through the current NFL Season which will determine who goes to Super Bowl LII. In the meantime, we need to figure what other fans think about having one of their favorite singer performing at the biggest sporting event of the year, for more on this, please observe the tweets down below.

One week from this Friday, Marvel Studios will release its latest film Thor: Ragnarok, and critics have been raving our how Marvel has made another masterpiece. What makes this this film so much fun is that it tells a lighter story of the Mighty Thor as the races through the universe to save his homeworld Asgard from destruction. There will be a surprise from the Hulk and Doctor Strange, and the mystery to the sixth and final Infinity Stone is solved, keep in mind that this film will have big implications to Avengers: Infinity War, and we can't forget about those post-credits scenes at the end of the movie, one can only wonder if they can tell us what we are going to see once Avengers: Infinity War comes to theaters May 4, 2018. Marvel Studios has been real busy these past few months with planning their 10th Anniversary Celebration and the rumors flying around that there might a Marvel themed convention on the horizon, either way, 2018 and beyond looks be be one of Marvel's best years in the future.
