Today's UPDATES
First off, I will be off tomorrow for a doctor's appointment, second, it was a Super Fun weekend has left us with a bit of disagreement and controversy, while I;m not speaking about politics or the wildfires in California that have left 40 people dead, I'm talking about the New York Jets' loss to the Ne England Patriots, which was as expected, but left a bad feeling in my body from yesterday that is still bothering me today. It seemed like Jets tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins caught a pass, juggled it upon contact with New England defensive backs Malcolm Butler and Duron Harmon, and then regained control while barreling into the corner of the end zone. The play was under review and you won't believe what the referees called after they made their decision, replays clearly showed that Butler had punched the ball loose as Seferian-Jenkins extended toward the end zone, but Seferian-Jenkins ultimately regained control. According to NFL rules, Seferian-Jenkins needed establish himself in bounds with the ball back in his possession or else the play would ruled a fumble out of the end zone and result into a touchback. I said to myself when I say that call overturned "I have no idea what the hell the referees are talking about, but they just screwed this game up for the Jets", some will agree with that the Jets were robbed of a touchdown and knowing controversial the Patriots are, the game went to them in a cheating matter. From football to Baseball, the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers look to be the favorites to advance to the World Series after each team went up 2-0 in their respective League Championship Series against the Yankees and the Cubs. I was going to spend the rest of the post talking about reverse Jets call, but I just found something even better. A new trailer and poster for Marvel Studios' Black Panther came out at 9AM this morning and it looks even more dope than the first one. You'll see Chadwick Boseman in his new black panther suit as T'Challa, plus we got a look at Micheal B. Jordan's character, Erik Killmonger, who has a fine looking suit of his own, and Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue with some new fire "arm" he has been sport since Avengers: Age of Ultron. So what is it that makes this new trailer so special, well the for starters the visual effects in this are outstanding, they found a way to make the world of Wakanda a blend of both Africa and Future Technology, and the fight scenes are unlike anything I have ever seen. I like the new poster so much because down below you see the Wakanda in all of its glory and T'Challa standing above all of the other characters as the king that he is. Each character has their own background that will come into play once Black Panther comes to theaters February 16th, and T'Challa will need all the help he can get in order to prevent another war upon the world.
