KlicKNet's 900th Post

What stared out as a hobby has turned into something bigger. When I forts started this blog in High School, I didn't quite know what to do with it, until I realized that I could use it to talk what's on my mind about the country and the world, and so I did. This is the 900th Post of #KlicKNet, though it was originally called #iAmKwameStudios.com back when the blog first started in 2014. In only three years, I have tackled on different stories, some that were important to some people and some that only I was interested, all and all there's a lot I want to get off my chest before the day I decide to end #KlicKNet for good. Yesterday, there was a massive earthquake in the Central area of Mexico City, Mexico, it had the magnitude estimated to be Mw 7.1 approximately 55 km (34 mi) south of the city of Puebla. This quake took the lives of at least 248 people, causing so much damage in the Mexican states of Puebla, Morelos and the Greater Mexico City. It seems as if the world is being plagued by natural disasters, the south park of North America has dealt with two hurricanes starting Harvey destroying most of Texas and Irma ripping through Florida and many islands like the Bahamas and Caribbeans. Right now are on nigh alert for two more Hurricanes in the form of Maria and Jose, one of which is extremely powerful. I have one message to give to the people of Mexico City, "Get on your feet and Stay Strong, Don't let something as terrible as an earthquake tear you apart, and in the end, you will find Hope." For this special day for #KlicKNet's 900th post, I want to figure more on what it is that people like on the internet, one major source I have used over the years is YouTube. This where people to see all kinds of videos at the push of a button, now instead of showing randomly selected videos for a specific topic, I will show videos that people like most all of and are on YouTube's trending list, this is what I like to call Your Choice. I think I have picked a very good day to do this because I there are videos on the list about things and people that I like, so here we go.

At #5 on the list, Cinema Sins presents "Everything Wrong with The Lego Batman Movie", having gotten 1,458,678 views, 46,000 likes and a thousand dislikes on YouTube. I find everything about this offensive because I've seen The Lego Batman Movie back in February and it was fantastic. It told a different style of Batman using the Lego toys and showed why family and teamwork is important in life. Cinema Sins is a YouTube channel who claims to know is wrong with Movies and TV shows, it says that "No movie is without sin. We exist mostly just to remind you of that." These sins videos happen every Tuesday & Thursday, now I think that this is bad criticism and I don't like it when people criticize something or someone else, especially me. However, if this is what is trending at #5, then we'll have to go with it.

Everything Wrong With The LEGO Batman Movie

#4 on the Trending list is "Honest Trailers - Wonder Woman", this one has 1,427,799 views, 49,000 likes and 2,000 dislikes, and it comes Screen Junkies. Somewhat like Cinema Sins, this channel tries to get brutally honest with movies and TV shows, but mostly movies such as Wonder Woman. The site's description says "Enjoy our warped take on film & TV with a steady stream of pop-culture parody, original series, thoughtful commentary, and whatever we can think of next." The Honest Trailer videos happen every Tuesday and have begun on since 2013, we all know the that Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine was critically acclaimed and people and every bit of it early last summer, and so did I. But, Honest Trailers wants to to tell it take on this female led superhero blockbuster while looking funny doing it, see if you can make sense of all of this.

At #3 is a video from ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live called "Jimmy Kimmel on Bill Cassidy’s Health “Care” Bill" with 229,973 views, 10,000 likes, and 454 dislikes. Before I go any further, I want to remind everyone that Jimmy Kimmel's baby son was dealt with a a serve health issues that had him in tears, in an very long monologue, he explain what he and his wife went through with their son, luckily they had the best doctors in the world looking birth and he was nurse back to health. For these reasons, Kimmel left the show for a week to spend time with his children while four of the most hilarious celebrities took his place as host. Last night, Kimmel told the audience his thoughts on the new health care bill from Senators Bill Cassidy and Lindsey Graham that Republicans are trying desperately to get into office. From Kimmel's point of view, he said that the new bill would not pass the "Jimmy Kimmel" test meaning that "no family should be denied medical care, emergency or otherwise because they can't afford it." Apparently, the Graham-Cassidy bill isn't any think like the "Jimmy Kimmel" test and that could be bad for a lot of families if they it gets passed. I'll let Mr. Kimmel explain this better and watch out for those funny punchlines.

The #2 video trending is the Tomb Raider Official Trailer by Warner Bros. Pictures. This new trailer has gotten up to 736, 805 views, 17,000 likes and 3,000 dislikes, the movie itself will debut int theaters come March 16, 2018. This is a reboot of the Laura Croft: Tomb Raider film series, it has based on the 2013 video game of the same name by Crystal Dynamics and stars Alicia Vikander, Walton Goggins, Daniel Wu, and Dominic West. I don't watch these kinds of action movies because I don't get the whole female archaeologist traveling around the world in search of lost artifacts while also infiltrating dangerous tombs and ruins. It's all based on a video game which I have never played before so I don't know much about the entire franchise, other people seem to like and have been very verbal about the new trailer for Tomb Raider, to them it has an Indiana Jones-esque to it or maybe more like National Treasure. Either, this is the second video on YouTube's list to be trending and I'm happy to share it with you readers of #KlicKNet now.

Finally, for the #1 Trending video on YouTube, it's "Darci Lynne: Kid Ventriloquist Sings With A Little Help From Her Friends - America's Got Talent 2017." The season finale of America's Got Talent is tonight on NBC and we competitors have been hard at work this simmer giving the judges and audience of the show an amazing talent of some sort. Darci Lynne is young ventriloquist who is also a fellow contestant of America's Got Talent and she and her puppet pals Oscar the Mouse and Puntina the Bunny performed "With A Little Help From My Friends", the crowd loved it and so do the viewers of this video which has 1,346,796 views, 33,000 likes, and a thousand dislikes. The song is very moving and the performance that Darci Lynne put on was wonderful and all because she had a little help from her friends. With all of that being, please enjoy this as one of the rising stars of America's Got Talent takes to the stage.
